I am looking for the name of the manila file that is responsible for the dark shadow when switching between tabs.
Is it a graphic or is it somewhere inside the code? I hope someone can help me with this.
Thanks a lot.
EC
\windows\htc\manila\assets\images\manila\black.qtc (you can use ManilaHash tool to compute the target _manila filename).
Thanks a lot, that was exactly what I was looking for!
Best regards,
EC
Btw. @OndraSter I've recently been to Prague, and it's a beautiful city! Very nice atmosphere!

After some searching through the vast amount of information on these forums I'm still at a lose on how to create my own Theme's on my HTC Touch HD.
Do I need to change TouchFlo theme's or Manila themes? It is it a tad confusing to a noobie!
I've discovered things that edit previously made ones but dont really want to do this. I really need to be able to open the files in photoshop, preferably in JPG format in order to change them to my cool designs that I'm sure you'll all love!
I'm a Photoshop designer and think my skills at doing this would be appreciated once I've learnt how to save the files out. I've already got a few ideas on some of the icons/wallpapers/theme's I'm planning on using. If anyone can let me know how to rip the files from my phone that need chaning I'd appreciate it.
I've read that they all end _manila, but I cant seem to find them.
Hey guys, this is my first post since i just got myself a touch diamond.
and im not that good on it yet, i found out kinda quick how to change roms and radios and such kinda quick. well anyways.
earlier today i was messing around in photoshop
and made a mockup for how i wanted my diamond to look (view attachment)
and i was wondering is that would be possible to make?
and how do i do that? ive read alot around on google and such but never got hold of it.
so i though if someone out there is good on making themes. im using the WM6.5.WWE.21812.NmLs.v.1.3.2 rom at the moment with touchflo3dv2
and yeah lik i sed i have no clue how to do this.
so if someone would like to help me out that would be great!
maybe do a theme together since im good in photoshop and designed alot of vista/7 visualstyles
and i also is in the gaia09 [http://www.gaia09.us/] project, and thought it would be cool to make a daimond theme for it.. if thats possible
well well if someone is willing to help me out that would be awesome.
cheers, john!

seems nobody will or can help you.. so I will try my best, I will look in to the Programs over the Weekend (hope not to much party, hehe) so I can help you
sad nobody will help a such good graphic-guy like you..
I could help, I've done a few themes for the original TF3D, i'm sure you can use manila editor to create a new TF3D2 file. if you can open activesync and copy all the manila files from your windows folder into a new file and zip and upload it here i'll have a go at editing it for you.
You've only shown a graphic which has got a clock style and the bottom slider style really, have you got any idea of what you want the icons to look like???
if you do want to do it all yourself, i'd suggest opening up the manila files from your windows folder with either Manila editor or CFC Manila editor from the links above and export them to PNG's.... you can then change them in photoshop to what you want, and then replace the originals using the editors... I'd never used photoshop or the editors before trying to make a theme and it's really not hard to do....
There is a Sprint Clock for TF3D HERE. Maybe you can use that for inspiration
The attached manila file is from a TF3d clock. The author changed something in this file to stabilse the clock as it was able to be moved all over the screen
Can somebody please indicate to me which part of this manila file controls the fixed/movable state as I use a different clock but have the same issue, so by learning what controls it I can edit it my file for myself.
Many thanks
I know theres plenty of knowledgable people on this site so dont be shy lol
Please help if you can, thats how 'these' sites flourish.....
Thanks
Anyone help?
Hi Guys,
is there any way of changing the clock on my tp2? i'd like a smaller one if possible! oh and an idiots guide to changing it...im very new to wm phones!
thanks in advance
changing the clock is as simple as running a .cab file from your phone (copy it to your sd card then run it)
there's plenty on here already mate search for 'clock' in the top bar
Here's somewhere to get you started.. this thread is a collection of screen-shots from different users phones', they usually include links as-to where they got different add-ons.

Thanks for the link! I hate the TF3D clock!
Yes thanks for the link.
G'day all, I have developed a WeatherCities.xml file editor, I'm hoping perhaps will be found useful.
It is a Windows, PC based utility, which I developed for when modding my HTC Touch 3G.
In short, it extracts weather codes from AccuWeather's, netWeather scripts.
Please note that this application is FREE to use and you may pass it on to anyone you wish.
Cheers!

(Now in version 2.3, uploaded 7th Feb, 2011)
The final cut, unless someone wants something added to it.
