Guys, my Imagio crapped out yesterday, and I am getting a new one today. BUT before I do, I am trying to decide to flash again, or just install cookies.
The question I have is this, Stock Verizon HTC Imagio ROM running sense 2.5, what version is it?
Want to know if I can install cookies without flashing.
Thanks for responding to a somewhat noobish question.

Hello everybody. I think my alzheimers is starting to kick in. I recently flashed my tmobile wing with a new rom. The think is, I cant remember which rom was it. I know how stupid that sounds but I just cant remember. When I turn it on, it says Touch It. that's it. The reason I want to know so badly is because Im not satisfied with the rom and would like to try a new one...
So, how can I find out what rom I have???
TIA
if it says touch it then more than likely its the touch it rom series
lol I guess I should have asked which version of a thouch it rom do I have?
Thanks anyways
Got To: start/ settings/ system/ device information. That will tell you the rom and radio versions that your phone is running
Hello all. I am new to this again. I am in the US Army and have been gone a while. I have a Sprint touch diamond and upgraded my rom to the 2.0 version. I am realy interested in an even better rom, possibly with the wm 6.5 that I saw on youtube. Can anyone point me to the correct ROM for my sprint phone? And is there a tutorial for this somewhere? The HTC download was pretty easy, are they all like that? Thanks.
Mainly all of the roms here are for gsm... Here's a similar thread, follow it
thank you...
Hi All,
I am new to this forum, I installed WM6.5 from T-Mo website, after dooing that I see that TouchFlo3D is not pn my TP2 anymore, also the option for START-SETTING takes me to Manilla Settings. Has anyone else experienced this. Is there a new ROM I can install. Any help will be appreciated.
try installing rom again. it should fix the problem
That ROM is a bit of a stinker. It has doccumeted issues with losing time, all of the time. If you want a stock rom you should install HardSPL and take one of the WWE 6.5 ROMs.
this time i installed rom, my phone is freezing .... i have to do atleast 2 or more resets everyday since i have installed it.
A fair number of people have discovered that re-flashing that t-mo 6.5 ROM a 2nd time has helped clear up a number of odd issues like those.
OK, thanks to everyone here I finally flashed my HD2 and I liked it a lot. I tried the Energy Rom and Core Cell Rom and they both worked great and have there advantages. But I have a new question now. I want to change my phone back to stock, which stock rom should I download? And is the installlation process the same as flashing the phone with a custom rom?
hmmm...
im assumin you have a tmous HD2. if so you can find the original tmobile rom on their website. just search for hd2 software update on the search portion. same as here, you can find it. just gotta look and not ask a question when you can find it yourself. also i think this question doesnt belong under this thread mayb under HD2 general..
http://support.t-mobile.com/doc/tm54430.xml thats helpful... use it to flash back..
ok, thanks for the help. but i have a question and something else as well. I clicked on the link and read over everything it says:
NOTE: The software update is only designed to update the ROM version from 2.10.531.1 and 2.13.531.1 to 3.14.531.1. If at any point the software was changed from 2.10.531.1 or 2.13.531.1 by flashing to unsupported software, sometimes called rooting or hacking, then we strongly recommend you do not perform this update, as it was not designed to update unsupported software.
It seems like their saying don't use this update if I flashed another rom besides the stock rom which it came with. So exactly what do I do from here? Not trying to sound slow or anything, but I want to becareful with these things. And besides I don't have a spare phone to use and would hate to brick this one up. Any help is appreciated.
I got my TMOUS HD2 yesterday and to go around customs, I asked if the seller could flash there nonbootable ROM, which I made (HTC Oboe XIP and no IMGFS to be sure it wouldn't boot ). When it arrived, I just flashed the 3.14 ROM without single errors and keeping HSPL2.
Do it, there won't be problems .
this thread came in time. today i got a message from tmobile indicating that there is a new update available. i wanna give it a shot and if i don't like it then I'm going to upgrade to the cell core v3 since i've been using v2 for a while
As th question says... i like the stock ROM of my htc hd2 but i also want to have android on my phone... can i use android in that stock ROM.. or is there any ROM that is alike to the Stock ROM 3.14?
THanks!
Just try it. And for the love of god stop posting threads in here. It's the DEVELOPMENT forum.
Sorry it wont happend again.. im just a beginner "non-principal english speaker"
so i get confused in some parts
I would also like to know if there is a good android build that can run on the stock tmo rom.
...as I told you...yeah, you can run just about any distro with some sort of success on the 3.14 stock ROM...please use the search function as this question has been asked many times.
