I have my Aria since the day it was released, and with the great work of attn1 on the Liberated Aria Rom, my phone rocks and I'm more than satisfied. Although there is one little thing. There is a clock at my lock screen, a clock at my home screen and a clock at the task bar. Too many clocks on my phone!!..
I was wondering if there is a way to hide the clock from the task bar. I searched the web and the forums but I didn't find anything for my Aria (found something for other phones but I didn't understand if could work for Aria)
Does anyone know something to help me???

in the cm6 rom you can hide it
I love the HTC sence and when I tried CM6 had GPS issues so I need another solution.

GPS locks fast and fine on the latest nightly
Just checked with GPS status on 9/29 cm6 locked on in under 2 sec indoors within 6 meters margin of error

All I know is I'm sure the HTC got rid of the flipping clock on newer ROMs for the HD2 as well.

Help im trying to remove my lock screen i searched the forums but came up with luck but it was no luck because when i rm the htclockscreen apk and odex i rebooted and the lock screen switched to the vanilla .. im using damage v1 .. i want to remove my lock screen completely so i can use a app lockscreen help thanks

yes i do .. but it sucks cuz sometimes it doesnt catch the htc one .. so i want to remove it and then ill have no more of those problems

The vanilla lock can't be removed. It's part of the framework.

Yes but it will be messed up if you're on a later sprint build. You still have to flash a fix, found on these forums.

im not on a sprint build.
edit: hahahah ok so just to see i did it. yep got vanilla, yep its messed up. kinda humorous. unlock and silence sliders are at top and bottom. despite arrows indicating left and right actions its up and down... clock is chopped as well... gonna look for that fix.

It's a bit specific though in that it removes the clock, and removes the haptic feedback from the sliders
Battery indicator Pro has an option to disable the lock screen and it worked for me when I tried it. maybe take a look at that app...
Hi Guys,
my Girlfriend updated her Legend to 2.2 today but now is a little sad, because she is no longer able to change the Background-Image of the Lockscreen (the one you have to drag down...). On 2.1 she could use one Image for normal Wallpaper when in use and another for the "lockscreen", now on 2.2 if she changes the Wallpaper, the lockscreen-image is the same...
Is there any way to only change ONE of them as it was on 2.1??? Maybe any app or something??

Maybe you should have a look at Lockbot or Lockbot Pro. Also try widgetlocker. I havent tried any myself but they are best known for lockscreen customization. Good luck.
Also, do you now get the Desire style fading pulldown of the clock pull bar on the lockscren? Does it fade? Or does it just slide and collapse like Legend 2.1.
Hey guys sometimes when leaving some apps ie. messages, or phonebook the white screen with htc will flash up and then a loading sign for a second or two its quite annoying does anyone else have this problem?

I guess this is better than the entire device locking up, necessitating a battery pull... which I've so far not had to do in the month I've had the phone. Could argue it's good coding by htc. And hopefully future updates will minimise this issue further...?

yeah its just the sense launcher crashing used to happen rarely on my legend to, but its easy fixed you just change to another launcher
since a couple days, same happens to me...but i dont know why. its not with a special app when i close it, its just randomly when i go back to the homescreen, but i will definately change to netfront life screen, as soon it becomes more customizable...i like the idea

You can't when you use another launcher you lose all the htc widgets if I was u I would use the skins in the app section they are superb and for some strange reason my phone its quicker now but they do look better also

btw is there a good app, which i can use to map all the "settings" functions, like airplane mode, ringtone, mobile connection on off, wifi, bt, phone profile... i found widgets but alwasy for one function, is there not a widget where in can configure all that...so idont have to download 100s of widgets
Sure, just try Quick Settings and Quick Battery (Android Market). Highly recommended.

If you got into the app section of the dhd forum there is a skins sticky . All skins are easy to instal when you downlosd them you just neef explorer to access the saved file ( I sccessed from phone)

I am running Myns TwoPointTwo RLS5 with 2.6.32.17 Kernel. I love this ROM. Is there any way that I can get the apk for the stock clock. The reason I liked the stock clock is that I can set the alarm, timer etc. Can somebody post the stock clock apk?

I could not find it. I looked in the applications could not find it. I also went to the /system/app and could not see any clock application. The only one I found was htcClockWidget.apk and I tried to install it, but got an error message saying that the application could not be installed.
FWIW, I have the stock clock with Myn's twopointtwo, also.
Isn't the stock clock part of Sense? I'm pretty sure you need to add it as a widget if that's a Sense ROM.

Have you changed from the stock lock screen to an AOSP lockscreen? If so, that's your problem. Most aosp lockscreens remove the HTC clock when you install them, because the aosp lock screen breaks the alarm function of the HTC clock. Perhaps that's the problem? Did u change lockscreens?

Yes I did. I changed to the AOSP Vannila lock screen. If that's the reason, is there anyway I can revert back the lock screen?

The easiest way would be to reflash the rom. Just wipe cache and dalvik cache, then reflash the rom. You could also just reinstall Myns htc lockscreen, then reinstall the clock app as well. Probably just easier to reflash the rom though.

If you don't want to reflash, here's the lockscreen/world clock apk's, but I don't think this lockscreen is the same as Myn's. I believe it's the Vaelpak lockscreen but I could be mistaken.

Thanks. I just re-flashed the ROM and it is working fine now. One more question. When I am talking to some one on the phone, I should be able to browse the internet too right? But for some reason I cannot do that. I am on the 3G network.

I am running 2.6.32.17 and am looking for a kernal that will over/under clock and provide more power to run my phone more smooth. I have an extended battery so I am less concerned with battery life than I am a powerful kernal. Has anyone had success with Set CPU? I have heard pro's and con's with my Sprint Evo. There are so many kernal's and I don't know where to begin? I don't even know if they are all compatible with Myn (RLS 5).
