Can anyone tell me how to get tapatalk for my site I have it all set up do droid and iPhone users need to download the app ?? Or can someone help me make the app like xda has ??

I bought them both and they don`t differ that much. With tapatalk you can enter different forums and store them all. XDA can only be used for the xda forums afaik.

Solely interested in xda then go for xda app but if varied interest then think about tapatalk.
Not very difficult to choose from

Ya I was going to get tapatalk until I found the xda app and wondered if I was missing out on features, seeing as it's the official app. Thanks for the replies
Tapatalk is better because you can enter to diferents forums but, xda app is the best for this big forum :good:
depends on your usage, if you wanna control various forums from your device the tapatalk is the way. only xda? then xda premium app
They are both inefficient, outdated, battery draining piles of crap; sadly there's no alternative that I know of offering the same kind of features.
If you buy the xda app it monetarily supports this site.

I too own both, but since I also post at Android folrums and they re-enabled tapatalk support, I have to go with Tapatalk. Everything in one window.

Not really no. Its made by Tapatalk, but just for XDA. Its tapatalk lite.
The XDA app allows you to see the XDA portal(newspage) and I haven't found a way to do that with tapatalk. From the top menu in the XDA app press more then news. Other than that its what everyone else says, for multiple forums, tapatalk, just for xda, then xda app.

I think XDA Premium app is better for access to XDA, I have both because I prefer to have straight access to XDA which is the only forum I visit often. The XDA app is also good for easy access to the XDA portal, but since changing from a HTC Desire HD to a Samsung Galaxy S3 its easier and much better to use the main website to access the portal.

By the way, why is it so important to let the whole world know that one is using Tapatalk? I'm referring to the signatures like "sent from ... using ...".
Why do you even need an app you are using the Galaxy SIII man it's pretty much a computer in your pocket and has no issues loading the forum on its stock browser.

It's the default signature, clearly a sneaky tactic by the author to get some free advertising.

Anyone want a new exclusive HTC One Lanyard? Just got a job at a phone store and the HTC one launch has been delayed but we have some great props. My way of giving back to the XDA community I suppose?
UPDATE: Wow didnt expect such a big response. I only have 5 so im going to pick 5 random posters and pm them please give me a postal address.

There is a way but you Must be rooted. It's called freedom. And you also have to tweak with the timezones. It's not so much hacking as it is in app purchases. But I haven't herd of a game genie for a DROID.

Guys i wanted to know which app do you guys use to browse xda forums from galaxy y. Because the official xda app as well as the tapatalk are a trash. Though i use tapatalk 4 in xpmini it works well but in sgy, tapatalk 2 is awefull. And i am totally pis**d off with these apps. Can anyone tell me whether there is any other alternative??
