I just saw this and I am amazed by the theme.. let keep this thread as encouragement to our developers (Dark Ninja and Elcondor) to keep on working this theme.. WM will only die if developers give up on it.. we all know android on HD2 is fun. but WM is still great platform as long as we keep on going..
by the way has anyone seen the new Co0kie home tab 2.0 beta.. wow.. I mean.. WOW...
One word: WOW.
This has a really slik design, and if it would be up to me, winmo isn't dying yet. Still like it alot.....Please keep up the development, and there will be at least one that certainly will be using it!!! Complements on the looks of this...

To be honest I can't wait to have that on my HD2. I'd probably never go back to the original sense after that...looks sick!

i think wm still work good and it best in some ability like great software . the big world of software that it best and useful for anyone...

winmo can do anything I need smoothly and fast. That's what we are really looking for

I would even donate to get this theme on my HD2.
I have toyed with Android and I barely use it. I think it's nice for some of the games it has, but my HD2 has most of the apps I want/need and works all the time (unlike my android partition). I like HTC sense, but this theme blows the original out of the water. It's absolutely fantastic! I would definitely be sad if this was not completely developed.
Just because WM7 and android are coming up, that doesn't mean that people currently using 6.5 will drop it or switch. I use WM:Android 10:1. And I have a feeling that most people using a WM phone that won't support WM7 would like to at least have a nice theme!

I think if you can get A_C, Thundershadow14, tene, Slither2006 and some other developers in one to make the ultimate app interface that we will ever see.
Count Schaps in. He is working on such a project now too.
I'd love to be involved with the KILLER WinMo app too if possible. My strength is in UI/Graphics design, and I've recently released my VistaMobile theme to the masses. It's been downloaded a fair amount of times. Would be nice to create one "super-shell" without the need for Wisbar/FTouchFLO/S2U2/etc., but of course still having all of that functionality!
I know there's that "PointUI" app coming out, but I still think it could be better (it's in beta of course, so things may change)...
Hopefully 2008 will be the year that Windows Mobile puts the competition to sleep. Now we just need HTC to bring us the OMNI, or any dream hardware that goes above and beyond the Universal!
This is what I was thinking of doing. We have most of these apps in development we just need to add them all together. I know some of these apps are in different coding programs. I am sure we can find away to do it? I am a UI/Graphics design also but the more help is welcome b/c then each of us have a app to design but of course we all need to agree on the design too. I hope everyone that i mention in the first post is down on doing this. Also getting help from other developers too. if i didn't mention you that doesn't mean i don't want you to help i just don't want to mention everyone.

OK PointUI pretty much took my idea on what i wanted to do with the finger scrolling!!! Darn Darn Darn. Anyway if we all put all our heads together I think we can come up with something unique.

Don't forget two big developers from the early days Molski and Faria. started developing ROM's for the Wizard. And see Anichillus at www.anichillus.net/. he's working on a vista interface for the ppc.

I think we can all work on the PointUi project and make it the new interface for WM6.
It could be the ultime interface if we can replace the old interface of WM6.

My thought as well!
PointUI is simply amazing but it still needs a lot of development to be done.

well i need people to pm me if they are interested in doing this. i want to know if everyone wants to work together on this development. Now that pointui is out and winmo 7 just news release it maybe to late but i have seen lots of development of the new screen shots like schaps(today screen) , tenes(pocketcm) , a_c(s2u2) , thundershadow(PocketMelody) and slither(cube) that is in development but i cant mention everyone. if we can add this all in one Gui think this will be great app.

Resource hog or not, I think this has really great potential. Man, esp using Touch Diamond accelerometer (shake) to switch pages, even the TouchFlo3D tab!!

I see lots of hype about this... and all due respect to Schaps, it looks to be an amazing interface, but I also imagine it to be a retail product when it comes out.
I'll certainly try it out, I just get annoyed in principle by advance hype... Show me the money

Even if I hesitated in the past to make a retail product, I have pleasure to tell you that TouchXperience UI will be 100% free!
But as you can imagine the long time I'm spending on this project has a price, even if I'm not asking a lot, so I count on donations to continue TouchXperience development and support.
I would need some suggestions or advises regarding user interface design of the custom event/profile manager which will be integrated in TouchXperience. Don't hesitate if you have some ideas:

All the compatible phones you mentioned on the website are high-end phones... I guess people with tmobile wings are left in the dust 'cause our phones are too damn weak!

and its working well, no problems with hanging or soft reset,
love it more and more, everytime I use it
ok, some minor things happend... some problems with third party applications such as spb pocket plus (drop down menu not working) but now its one week of usage and it works as expected from HTC

Agree, I think it is the best yet from HTC.
Not perfect IMHO, but the cooks will sort that out fairly quickly I am hoping (paypal at the ready lol).

I love my Touch HD too..Best product yet from HTC and the best WM device I've ever used.
The OP of the hate thread is trolling....anyone with a history of Windows Mobile devices realizes its not for the average joe and WM6.1 is not perfect either, but has so much more customizability and abillities it is worth the hick-ups. I think WM 7 will take away all gripes about WMobile and the devices carrying it.

Looks promising but I think it would be a while before you would see this on a WM device
I bet that 90% of the cooked HD-roms will contain that interface within the next 6 months

Did your preview ROM (released as a preview around the 16th june) is built using Manila or is it a WM version of HTC sense ?

it won't take long until my blackstone is found on ebay... i think i was just waiting for the "reason"... and here it is! amazing, amazing software. i feel pity of the current windows mobile when i look at iphone and android's OS... ah! not to mention the marvelous Palm Pre.

It's pretty much just a reshuffled Touch Flo with more fancy effects, I won't say no when it's availiable but nor am I going to desperate to get my hands on it.

hey, just ordered a blackstone a few days ago... and saw HTC sense today. I just want it! what do you think, will HTC sense be available for the blackstone too?
just read the posts above, maybe it will be available, maybe there will be a new WM touchflo version... in your opinion, should I leave my order, buy a blackstone and hope for HTC sense made available for it, or should I wait for more HTC sense devices like the hero?

This is another reason why we need Android on the HD. HTC Sense is so much more fluid and finger friendly.

The hardware is promising, is there any opportunity any cooked rom like X2 Rom can work for X10?
I don't really see why you would like WinMo on that phone.
Android is a nice platform as well as Windows Mobile. and it got a better market place.
It is probably possible, but then people needs to get they're hands on drivers and so on first.

well when i first saw this phone i was like I GOTTA HAVE THAT PHONE... then i saw it ran android Q.Q and my dream phone got flushed in the toilet before even getting it!!! so its a very legit question if anyone have any interest in porting winmo to it!!! i love winmo and i have so many programs for it... but ill probably buy it anyway even if it got the little green leprechaun in it... or should i wait for a SE wp7s... haha jk thatll be like 2 years from now if im lucky.....
Why not just go with the HD2?
Windows mobile is terrible and outdated, android owns it in every way, why would you take it over WM? Also if you want WM that badly with awesome hardware just get the HD2, thats like people asking for the supersonic to have WM LOL, sure the Supersonic is better a bit hardware wise, but not by a crazy margin imo.

Sigh... WinMo is still the most productive, customizable and functional OS out there. Also, the best busineess solution.
Andorid is still in diapers. Maybe one day it will be able to do as much as WinMo, but for now, it can't.
I agree that there is no sense in porting a different OS to a phone not made for it, except if it's dual-boot, which is cool.

dual-boot would be awesome! its true what you write about android and winmo!
and to the other post i really dont want the hd2... i dont think it is apealing to me the x10 is the nicest design ive seen in a phone for awhile imo! plus in Sweden at least you get the blue tooth headset with it! which is a big plus!
