There is a whole lot more of it on www.google.com/images "insert search string here" especially after you turn safe search off. Not to mention pornotube or whatever the hell all the you tube equivalents are. I'd say the least of the worries is the mostly soft stuff in the market.

Its funny cause before I got my EVO I never used Android just winmo. I heard about porn on Android but I don't really see it at all..
I know funny I guess I'm searching wrong or something. Even using the browser most web sites are designed for full browser..I dunno maybe I just need to research better.

Ya, but it doesn't need to made easy for them. You really think it is responsible to make it easy. Android needs to have an adult section. Besides the fact developers are spamming the crap out of the market with the all the porn crap. Everytime I look and see what's new, 50% of it is new porn. Look at sowallpaper.com, he/she is the king of spam!
And started bragging. As you do when you have a N1, and your phone is better than anyone else's. Surprisingly, some people actually had N1's. So I had some decent conversations with the staff, told them some stuff, hung out.

I work for Costco Wholesale.
I visit the cellphone kiosk daily to chat with the guys there. I tell them the latest cool app I'v got. The latest ROM I'm running. Who is Cyanogen. etc. etc.
I've helped them sell more Android™ phones than they would have on their own.
Their manager offered me a job.
After I asked him if they can match what I currently earn at Costco as a cashier ... he smiled and said NO, he couldn't.
I'm almost at $19/hr.
I still visit daily to shoot the ****. They're a good bunch of guys.

I am not an 'elitist nazi' nor am I cocky as I sounded at the first post.
In all actuality, the 'bragging' was me talking to a guy about the pros and cons
of unlocking/rooting, and discussing various ROMs, and then I was helping a girl
decide NOT to buy LauncherPro Plus (She was going to buy it for the facebook
widget, in the hopes that it would better notifications [because, being honest,
the facebook app is horrid with notifications. Unless someone knows something
I don't?] but I explained it was just a widget and not an app.)
So yeah.
I thought it was awesome.
I guess being a engadget nerd pays off =D

lol holy **** just noticed your location is fort worth. i frequented that costco often over the past few years. i just gained a lot more respect for their cashiers (and of course their totally awesome and cheap hot dogs).

Well, I'm big on saving people money, and she was only buying for the facebook widget, in which she was convinced that it was a standalone app. She wants a facebook app that notifies her with the same speed as emails and text notifications.
As you can tell by my screen name and my signature I'm a huge knopfler fan.
This is why, it's not the greatest quality but if you know and appreciate good music you will like it.

One of the best concerts I saw was seeing them play the Capitol Theatre in Passaic, NJ (11/80). Saw plenty of bands play there (1971-1984), and Roosevelt Stadium in Jersey City... Funtimes...

Yeah I understand. Been going to concerts since the early 70's so I got to see some of the greats perform live. Hey you never know, they may reform or at least do a benefit concert/tour. Then again I'm a big Pink Floyd & Rush fan.

2010 was supposibly his last tour year. He has been having back trouble and I don't think he is coming back this year. If for some reason he does though you can rest assured I'm gonna find a way to meet him.
I like music, and to me the old music was just that.
So I have my phone hacked for HDMI output. Went to the bar that I DJ and a couple friends came in who are in a band, along with someone who wanted to see their work. They have a video on their website in flash format. Cait who has an iPhone can't use flash and also doesn't have HDMI out. So I hook up my Atrix to the large HDTV and fire up firefox, and had it playing in less than a minute over the bar's WIFI connection.
That's it, just wanted to share, I was quite pleased with it. People say that it's useless, I just wanted to say that I actually found one.

However, I wonder why you fired up Webtop when you could just have used the default Android web browser and HDMI Landscape mirror?

I would have done the same just for the sake of showing off my uber-cool modified Webtop on the big screen!

Here's my Atrix Webtop story ....
While deployed over in the Persian Gulf I was delivering an important dignitary to the US consulate in Qatar, when our convoy came under attack. We were in a fire-fight for what seemed to be more than 3 hours; almost out of ammunition and pinned down, it seemed as all bets were off. We ducked into an abandoned hookah lounge to seek shelter and it hit me.... We pushed the large HDTV's up against the windows, I hooked up my Atrix to the lounge's video feed and pumped out porn to the screens .... all of the shooting stopped, and we slipped out the back while the mad crowd was mesmerized. We later dropped 500lb bombs on the area in retaliation for the problem, but I just thought I would share ..... just kidding, I couldn't resist.
(I mean no disrespect to anybody, just having fun)

After hearing all he was speaking, i asked, "what else your phone does that any android phone doesn't?" and then i pulled my LapDock out of the bag, everybody who was listening to him came to see it, when i started to show how much android, and the atrix, with webtop, are lot cooler than his phone, i looked at his eyes, and made a trollface.
This guy was my friend, now we live this Android versus iOS fight.

Win. I do this to all my friends with iPhones just not with the lapdock. Mostly with Flash and other things they can't do

I agree with you to an extent. I only use Social Media in very close knit circles, twitter is merely to ask questions to companies and facebook is close friends and familes (63 friends). But for some odd reason i liked the zoeshare of the randomers.
I wonder if HTC will release Zoe as an app for android, and heaven forbid iOS. It just seems like a less idiotic vine and could possibly be a big deal.

I'm sorry to say it, but declaring judgement on other people based on your own opinions .. now THAT's arrogant ... so why don't I tell you from just one person out of a billion's viewpoint ...
First off, I don't suppose Zoe shares will be public broadcast material. I've seen nowhere on the ZoeShare site that lets you see or choose from the Zoes shared on the site. They are there to be viewed by friends and family who are actually given the URL to that specific Zoe. Of course once you make that share public then you are in the Facebook - public broadcast arena and that's your own choice.
As for usefulness ... Here is one old geezer's take on Zoe and ZoeShare ...
I'm 63 years old, and my mother is 86. She is semi-blind, but can watch TV, so the family set her up with a connection from her PC to her TV set so she can still surf (she remembers how to touch type) and view mails and images etc. in a nice big format.
My wife and I live in Holland and so do both my daughters (two of her four grandchildren and her only granddaughters) and my four grandchildren (four of her five great grandchildren). My mom lives in England ... so there's only really mail/e-mail and telephone that keeps us all together and we do stay in constant touch. I often send her photos of odd things, family days, kids losing teeth etc. and she loved to receive them. they are her company on the long days alone.
To be able to send her LIVING photographs in a Zoe collection by just mailing her a link will be great for both of us. She gets to see her photographs of the Dutch end of the family coming alive on her TV with no effort at all, and I get to produce the Zoes for her to see ... again with no effort at all.
I'm choosing to use an HTC One expressly for that purpose... I can use any phone to make calls, and andriod is pretty much the same under the skin on every phone ... but only one phone has Zoe ... that's the deal maker.
I like the idea of Zoe, this is going to make a pretty slick and different way of sharing. For the most part I throw vids on youtube and pics on picasa as I do not do the Facebook thing. I am not going to share it with the world just family. I don't tweet my days life like you seem to think everyone does.
I'm looking forward to this and the whole phone in general because it kicks arse all the way around!

Oh, I watch the second link before..
Allow me to tell the story:-
As you can see, that the building is HTC Taipei headquater.. This *Zoe Share* originated from one of those HTC staff that have tester unit..
His friend (claimed to be, I would say suspicious self-disguise) took it and manage to published a long introduction/tutorial on several Taiwanese Forums. Then, the post was suddenly redacted a day later.. Perhaps he draw some concern from his superiors.
I meant to translate the article to english and publish on XDA. I contacted the author and he said he will republish again when allowed.
So, get ready for it.. I will post an english version here too..

It is interesting to think about, and some criticize the phenomenon while others defend it -- and that probably depends a lot on how you came up in this world.
I'm 40, and saw the advent of the internet grow through my teens and 20s, and I fully remember a life where we didn't have every piece of information imaginable at our fingertips. Now I have 4 teenage girls who don't know this "less connected" life we older generations know of -- they are totally immersed in the connected life without any idea that the more "disconnected" life worked as well. They love constantly sharing the more mundane details that we didn't think needed to be shared.
But the new images we share is not reality, but only part of it -- the part that we want to play up and make public. We will always have another part we keep private, and in that respect, nothing has really changed that much. We are just more informed.
They'd need to make more themes to choose from for that. Otherwise the world of HTC Zoe's would be full of the same 6 themes from the masses.
