i believe that comment was because this has been addressed a LOT!! when new users ask questions without doing a little research on their own first people are less likely to help you in this forum. just a heads up for next time. good luck finding the information you need and next time try to spend a little time reading previous posts to find answers first. take care

The reasons why people less likely to help are
1) they don't really have enough or reliable information to give you an exact answer.
2)It is angry when you answer question like this: 1000times
are you a boy?yes
what is your name?noob
are you a boy?yes
what is your name?noob
are you a male?yes
what is your first name?freaking
you sure you are a boy?yes
what is your name again? freaking noob.......
.......
However, mostly XDA users are polite. please read and search...Before you start a thread, if you are lazy...press ALT+F4,it definitely help you heaps.....
Search dude....
I can help u locate the search box on this page..let me know

totally forgot. Read those too! Those are great threads to read before posting up any questions, if you run into any trouble, etc.
One more thing...read and read and read and read. You have an expensive phone...all the info you need is here...but do yourself a favor and read for a few days so you understand what you are doing. That will limit your questions and headachesā€¦
There are very helpful people in theses forums and they are more likely to help you after you have you have tried to help your self.

Congratulations on breaking free. Just one piece of advice in addition to the links others already posted - to make your life on these boards more pleasant, use the search before posting questions. There's a good chance the info is already available.
Thank you .
Im reading all this through the app so kind of.hard to read it all bearly getting used to the phone too thanks tho and I will start reading .

Welcome though! I also came from an iphone over a year ago and ive never looked back.

Welcome
Like all ....welcome the above posts have provided links, remember a couple of things, Go slow at first before changing up the phone... get used to the phone. Look at the apps here and on the android market
Look at the development section in the Vibrant forum and read alot of the posting and links about the custom ROMs. The people who made them are superior to the service provider developers.
Once you are comfortable with your background/reference education then, start modifying the phone. You are going to find this is SUCH a good phone to customize, and way user friendly than others I have used in the past. Good luck, and welcome
Welcome +1!
We're here to help as long as the question hasn't been posted 15x10^n times =) Reading is integral to learning more about your phone. Peek into the dev forum but don't post any questions in there unless directly related to a ROM you've flashed (and even then search the thread for your answer [there's a search thread button at the top of the page]).
There are many good people on the forum even when the get short tempered due to "failure to read" syndrome.
Congratulations on a wise purchase, your phone is only going to get better (we've got some great devs ).

Some of us for longer than others...contract runs out in December (possible upgrade in November) and from then on my wildfire will be little more than a rom tester for me, granted it's been a brilliant phone for just under two years now. I would post things into the development forum as I have tried many of the roms out there but having only just thought of making an account after two years I have found I cannot without more than 10 posts...
Then again, what's my loss will be your gain as I will definitely be posting in the development forums as soon as I can (end of contract) with any bugs or problems I find.
I need help with what to replace the glorious phone that is the wildfire, can anyone recommend a suitable replacement which is equally moddable?

Stock Android experience possible on MI 9T?

Hello everyone,
I just got my Xiaomi Mi 9T and i was wondering if it is possible to get a stock android experience.
Maybe someone can point me in the right direction on this forum?
It has been a while since i last rooted / flashed a phone and so right now i'm a little overwhelmed.
Can i get stock experience by uninstalling bloatware and installing a launcher?
Or do i really need a custom rom?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Mannnn.... People just don't lgot too lazy or just can't search anymore. Sorry ofr being unpolite, but it's frustrating. People asks questions without bottering to search.
Xda used to be a good development forum. Now, is the same question being asked again and again. No one even search or read a page. It's a shame.

I agree with you, but in this guy defense, by his account he is really new.
Anyway, stock android is Pixel Experience or LineageOS
