[Q] exrract from ROM

hi all,
as i am new here, say a 'hi' to everyone first.
currently i am a HK user of blackstone, and the ROM come with the telecom vendor, CSL. i noticed that, in the ROM, there should be a JAVA program pre-installed which is so-called 'real time financial quote', seems to be this is an older version but i like the interface. i noticed if i update the ROM, the program will also be updated. i just want to check, is it difficult to extract the program or .cab from the current ROM, and let me install it again after i have updated to the new ROM? thanks a lot.

[Q] Few question seeking for advice

can we view facebook video on android? i am on shubcraft 2.0 and it cant play it. or its not support yet? i am on 1.41 facebook app.
if i am having multi android rom on my sdcard. will i need to install app individuality on each rom? if yes, install in internal or external memory?

plz there is any way to install application on the SDcard of my HTC Hero insteed of the mobile memory. so small memory for so large market

in one word: YES.
BUT :
- You can't do this on a stock 1.5/2.1 ROM
- You need custom ROM in order either to use app2sd
- with Froyo (2.2) there is a mechanizm to move apps to FAT partition build in.
Either way - You need to launch custom ROM

I only found theese at 2012 year. Nevermore?

If u want 2.3.7 - use this, if 4.0 - i can recommend this. It's my project, system - 125-130.
