Ok so im planning on getting the Desire HD. I plan on not getting any sort of data plan and only using wifi as data source. I'll be using PAYG. So i've been looking at some videos of setting up sense.
YouTube - Droid Incredible setup
Skip to 1:43. When i reach this part what should i choose? I would have gone with wifi only, but would this mean that GPRS wont work? Is GPRS part of a data plan?
edit:
what would be the ideal settings i should have ticked?

Only two comments about it both being negative, but I've just installed it and works fine
Since I am new can not post outside line but do a google search on Make a single access point to internet via 3G.

Hi guys,
Yesterday I got a message from my carrier that I exceeded my mobile data plan.
When I checked out i found that application "10175" transferred 3.75gb on Wi-Fi and also a lot on mobile.
This was done in one day.
I don't have this application installed and I didn't find any info about it.
Do you have any idea on this?

Has anybody tried the wifi display capabilities of 4.2 and up, if you can still go in the internet on your home wifi while doing it? Not miracast or any of that, but the standard vanilla android one.
I'm guessing whatever the answer is, the same goes for the wifi audio stream function, too.
3rd and 4th of my options are the ones I mean.

I use unlimited 4G from Verizon on my S5. I use the Hotspot as my main source for internet at my place. While I use apps and sometimes when Im playing a coop game I will get a pop up that says turning Wi-Fi on will stop the Hotspot do you wish to continue or cancel. Now if I'm in a game.....that disconnects me and I can't resume with the friend.
Is there anyway to test why or what app is calling that pop up from the system? This happens over 10 times a day.
