I need help and fast please - im just about to leave to commute to London for the the day and my HD2 doesnt want to work :/
It keeps popping up an error saying ''the file sapi cannot be opened. Either its is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file.''
And because of this it wont load HTC sense.
Ive done nothing new to the phone in past few days that i can remember. Ive no idea what sapi.exe is or what it does?!?
Forgive me if the answer is deep within a post somewhere but i couldnt find it.
I'd appreciate help ASAP

try deleting your application folder on the storage card, then reset.
that didnt work
any other ideas?
Ones that don't mean i have to jump up and down on my phone! Im feeling rather lost not being able to use it.

Hi guys, as you can see I'm new here! In fact I'm even new to smart phones; I bought one yesterday (the touch HD)
I'll kick off step by step:
The first thing i installed was google maps from the mobi download....all works fine!
Next I downloaded Gsen from my PC and transferred it over to my phone....exctracted the cab file and when trying to install it, it kept taking me to a blank white screen......I gave up with that, also tried downloading it from my phone, other sites etc, but to no avail!
After turning my phone off and on again, every time i try to install ANYTHING I get the message,
"The file 'XXXXXX' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted digital certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling/restoring this file"
I have tried reinstalling/restoring all the files in question but on retry, i get the same message. Any help would be GREATFULLY welcomed and appreciated.

My HD2 has somehow made the main memory Read only, I cant install anything and cant delete anything and when I do I get the message "Cannot Delete "": Access is denied. Be certain that the file is not write-protected and is not currently in use"
Iv tried deleting multiple things and get the same message, I have done a soft reset and it still remains the same.
also the message is the same when trying to copy something to phone memory "Cannot copy "": Access is denied. Be certain that there is enough frree memory, that the destination is not write-protected and that the file is not currently in use"
Please someone tell me that there is a fix for this

Try hard resetting the phone?
Use google to find out how.
If that doesn't work, you'll probably need to send it back to HTC.
Did a hard reset, its been two days and now it has done it again! is this happening to anyone else? or any idea why? the phone is still usable but I cant install anything or delete anything!
There is once diffrence to last time! the sd card was not read only last time and now it is! so if anything the problem has got worse!
Happened to me once. Hard reset didn't fix it.
Luckily i happened with a 2gb card and I had a 8gb in the post.
ouch wood, the 8gb has been fine for over 2 months now.
shandoli Did your phone's internal memory go into read only mode aswell though???

Well for some reason idk =/ exe's and HaRET isnt opening anymore please help it keeps telling me The file'haret cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificae, or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persist, try reinstalling or restoring the file.
idk why its doing this it worked before but all of a sudden it stopped working what should i do? ive tried msigner but still nothing please help

Welcome to the forums!
The most logical thing I would do is to delete all of the Android files you have (including HaRET), soft-reset, then put back all of those files on your SD-card.
Or, if you have Total Commander, try launching HaRET with that. I remember when I used to use Android on my TP2, I sometimes had to go through Total Commander to launch HaRET.

can u open other 3rd party apps in windows mobile?
i once had this issue where not only haret.exe cannot be opened, all the other 3rd party apps such as games and softwares cannot be opened.
my only solution is to backup as many files as i could and soft reset the phone into default factory setting.

Do an hard reset or flash a new rom
This will solve everything

well guys,I did what you told me and I got to the point that it starts rebooting and it stays like that forever zzzz...... so I did a second hard reset to my cell still did the same thing !
So now I'm going to try [TUT] FROYO x RED from bassiebal and I'll let you know how it goes !

If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file.'
Same error was with HARET.EXE file......i tried to reinstall many time, but failed...plz plz help me out guys to come out of this trouble....show me the link or way to get android on phone, i just love it!!!! plz help me....i m desperate in need....thank you
