Hi, i ask to developers if is possible to make our Desire's htcclockwidget.apk "flipping" like in old Hero roms (when you come back to homepage it "flips" 1h 2min, and everytime hours or minutes changes), because i really love that feature.
I think Hero's lag problem doesn't exist in our "more powered Desire"
If i'm not wrong i've seen real animated clock in new Desire HD

Actually it should go in the App forum...
dont post it in android development, a mod will just move it meaning more work for the admin team, this is an ok section, but you might of got more attention from a dev if you posted it in the themes and apps section, most devs dont look in q&a or general

I have no idea if this will work, but I guess it's worth a shot.
Here's the HTC Clock Widget from the Desire HD Rom. Try pushing it with ADB, see if it works.
Hope it works for you.
I have a flashable version of the clock to convert to animated but you have got to have htc sense installed first. I will post when I get home

i didnt manage to get it working with his rom, so make sure you nandroid first. i must have done something wrong ?

Thx for your feedback.
I changed the today them...it had black fonts-heavy to read. when you go to download section, you can download the new with white fonts. In my signature are also downloads for a rome and a paris them... and i never make a winnie pooh thme...it´s so much work for one theme, that i only make themes, i like myself.

If it´s wm5 or 6, you can install the files like i described it in the pdf in the download folder. If you don´t have the cube and the new touch functions, you can only use the welcomehead, the pocket cm-theme and the tsk-file.
At first you always have to replace the Biotouch.reg and delete the write protection of your png and brn-files in windows, otherwise you can´t overwrite them.
If your welcomehead has another name (example: welcomehead-96 or welcomehead96) rename at first the welcomeheadfile like your old.

Touch Commander is basically another version of Slither's cube launcher.

I think, it´s better for the most, to look, what they want to install, some need only today theme, others the cube. Some have wm5, some wm6...but at least: i never created a cabinstaller...don´t know, how to do it.

I have a question and I don't know if its already possible...
Anyone knows if its possible install Sense UI and HTC aplications in CyanogenMod 5.0.7 or in other Roms?
I know that HTC and Google have some problems to have some guys like CM that make roms better than them and dont let it use Sense and others aplicattions on cocked roms...

it's great and smooth, but may a little slower than cm ports because HTC Sense uses more ram space!

FINE! The answer is NO! HTC Sense UI requires a totally different framework and drivers. Cyanogen has explained this DOZENS (if not HUNDREDS) of times. He even said "If you want Hero, then get Hero." when he was referring to the HTC Music app in his roms.
So... again. The answer is NO.

I didn't undercut anybody. I spoke directly to Hector and obtained his permission to post this up before posting it.
On a side note, I felt my post would be easier for other's to read and use, since Hector had only posted a paragraph and a link to zenulator's original Hero ROM thread. He's, since then, copied info from zenulator's post and fixed his post up.

Is there any way you can get rid of the background image on the icons? To be honest they look like the xPhone and takes away from the Sense UI, which is crisp and clean.
when uploading roms, i suggest using multiupload..
rs gives users a maximum of 10 downloads before killing the link..

May I ask what you've come across that isn't functional enough to make it your daily? Maybe I can help..

Edit: I've asked zenulator for help to expedite the repairs, but I'm still working on fixing these issues..

Just tried your Rev2 and I like it! It's quick and I haven't found a problem yet. Will bt it to my car radio on the way home. The icons are different than I am used to but they are growing on me...sort of Ipod Touchish. Good job!
