Within Data Services does the YouTube entry always say login despite being currently logged in?
Unlike Twitter which says logout when you are logged in.

After installing Market and using it for the first time, it asked for sign-in - there was no problem with the process, and Market works fine.
When I used Map, occasionally it asked me for sign-in. I put the same gmail and pw as Market but it said this user has already signed in, but the sign-in process is not complete.
When I tried to sign in with a new gmail account and pw, it accepted but the process immediately went back to the beginning asking for sign-in or create account.
Is there a way to stop Google Map asking for sign-in?

I just notice there is a number next to "<John>'s Kindle" in the top left corner. When I press it, it shows several messages asking for permission to my gmail account. I guess this is what Google Map has been trying to do.
I click "Allow" and there is no more problem with Map popping up boxes asking for sign-ins.
I'm using official ROM Lollipop from Malaysia. Since yesterday I notice that my phone unable to connect to Google account and apps. I suspect because of few services that I freeze. After I defrost the apps, I still unable to connect. So, half an hour ago I reset to factory setting. But it seems like I still unable to connect to Google. My contacts all save in Google. I have no problem to open Google Plus, login into Google account, open Google Play Store and etc. using laptop. Every time I opened any Google application to login, it will show you this image:

I went to the Google store and installed Chrome browser. Seems to work OK, but will not sync to my Google Account. Pretty weird. www.google.com shows me signed in. Settings says to sign in (to sync) "or stay signed in (with my google account)". No sync takes place. Click 'sign in', provide credentials, click SUBMIT and nothing happens.
Hope this makes sense. It's like I am 1/2 logged into my Google account. Sync says I am logged in, but won't sync. Logging in anyway, ... nothing happens.
Would really like to sync this Phoenix Chrome browser.
Any help is appreciated in advance.

I have a Fire HD 10 9th Gen - I have just installed the play store following the guide and it worked fine using my own parent account but I wanted to login as my child's account and manage that via family link.
I couldn't login with my child's account directly into google play it kept giving and error and asking me to restart registration - I would login with his account then login with the parent account - I have 2FA auth on I would verify through my device succesfully it then would error and wouldnt let me login with kids account.
When i login via family link it asks Choose an account to supervise - I choose my own account and I just get a spinning circle in the family link app and it never moves forward.
Any advice on getting logged into the play store with my kids account or be able to supervise it as i would his old tablet?

Can you deregister your Fire tablet from Amazon account.
Yeah I can deregister it should I be able to login after that? What's the purpose of the device registration and consequences of deregistering?

I have a Fire HD 10 9th gen using OS 7.3.2.3. it was setup to use my Google account but I factory reset the device, and then setup a kids/restricted Google account for my 10 year old son do that I could limit YouTube (not YouTube for kids!) content and to apply various Parental Controls, the plan is to use Family Link also. Each time I try to login to PlayStore or YouTube with my Son's account I get a "Checking for updates" message which eventually changes into a "Something went wrong" message. If I then try to login to PlayStore with my own Google account there is no issue logging in, however then my Son can easily select my Google profile to access YouTube and PlayStore,. and when I try to login to Google apps with his account it says the device isn't ready for his login, and gives an option to delete existing accounts before his can be used I had subsequently reinstalled Google Services so that my Google profile would be removed, however the issue where my Son can't login to the Google apps persists i.e. "Checking for updates", advice welcome.
