In what way do you have no luck? It won't access the download mode at all?

Try to get it into TWRP over and over and wipe data if you do and reboot.
If not, try this as a last resort

What's the method for getting into TWRP at this point? I definitely have it, but what is the procedure to get to it? Thanks!
You're not alone friend.

Just happened to me yesterday, press and the Power and Volume down until the phone resets, holding both until the LG logo pops up. When it pops up immediately release ONLY power then press and hold it again and you should receive a prompt for factory reset. Confirm it then if you had TWRP previously installed you should be able to back to it after resetting. From there you can just push a ROM and/or gapps via ADB like I did yesterday . Feel free to message me if you have any issues, I'm back working fulling functional and would be glad to help you if needed. You can also message me on Hangouts as well @ [email protected] . Best of luck!
Hello folks, I was using my S4 flawlessly for about 8 months, last week I was sitting with friends and the phone wasn't even in my hand, suddenly I saw it rebooted on its own, and was stuck on Samsung i9500 logo and it bootlooped there. I tried getting into recovery mode, however it's kicking me out of there as soon as it goes. Then I tried to go into Odin mode, it gets stuck at the place where it asks you to push VOLUME DOWN button to continue, and restarts again.
How can I solve this??
Anybody guys??
Try this...
try factory reset from recovery.. if that fails then you'll have to flash the official rom via Odin again...

Just tried it, nothing changed.
Take out the Battery for 5 minutes,
when putting it back in,
make sure to hold
--- Volume Down
--- Home
Battery in,
--- and last Power
in that order
If you get in tell me please.

Hey guys I just got another one of these damn G2s
Anyway, got root fine on 12b and had issues trying to push the twrp recovery image to it, it kept failing for some reason. So I tried the Flashify option... and as you can tell by the thread title it worked excellently. And by excellently I mean I'm bricked.
I can get into download mode. But it won't boot past the LG logo. All I get is a black screen. Can someone help me revert to stock and get twrp installed?
Thanks:laugh: I'm using an S4 right now so no rush.
Also I'm a little illiterate on Android so take is slow and dumb it down- I don't develop and I don't code, I just enjoy other people's work as a casual user.

Try holding volume down + power
Immediately when LG appears let go of both and ONLY hold onto power, should boot into option to factory reset
Hit power button 3 times to continue.
Tried that. It processes the reset and then immediately tries to reboot, and bootloops again.

WHen your g2 is powered off just hold volumeup and connect to a PC. If it doesn't go past the blue dots then you can't enter download mode either.

The white screen where you can hard reset the phone? Yes.. I can get into it, but accepting the reset simply puts the phone back into a boot cycle.
Hi guys, ive seen alot of boot looping posts, but this one is a normal GT-9500. I do have apps, all from the appstore, and my phone is under 1 year old. It has been working fine recently, and out of nowhere today, while using whatsapp, it began boot looping. So i tried using recovery mode with no luck. The icon appeared, only to quickly disappear as the bootlooping continued, and the same with Downloading mode. I have no idea where to go from here, and i really Hope that someone can help me restore my phone to working order.. Please and thanks

I cant enter into recovery mode to do that, and i cant go into download mode. The phone just keeps restarting.. No matter what i do. Could it be the power button stuck? as soon as i put in the battery, the phone automatically tries to start itself.

Hi Folks,
I had TWRP installed and updated cm11 with a new nightly. I did a wipe cache and restarted. Phone got stuck on the LG screen. I could not get into recovery after this. I then used the LG support tool and flashed using 'Upgrade Recovery' option.
Phone now is stuck on same LG boot screen but now LED flashes also.
Can anyone help? I am really stuck here guys. :crying:
Cheers,
Trev

Did you select 3GQCT instead of CDMA which is selected by default ?
See if you can get into recovery once again.
Some tips: Hold power and down to make device restart, then let go... As soon you see the lg logo hold down and power. Timing is the key. There are sometimes I think I don't have recovery but in reality i do. Its all user error. If that don't work, try get in download mode. And flash zvc tot and get back to the stock.

Do a hard reset. it helped me yesterday. It's just that the hard reset key sequence for KK roms is different than how it was with JB. try to google it because I lost the topic.

Hey,
I'm in the same case but the R&D soft say there is an error. Plus I can't acces the hard reset menu nor recovery...
I can't also see my device on recovery as I only see in the device manager : LGE Android Net USB Serial Port.
And this is like that when I try to boot or when I'm in download mode.. Any help would be great...
PS : I try to make a restore with the LG Mobile Support Tool (the true one) but will only get answer in 6hours (best connection ever!!)...
Edit1 : That worked! I get out of the download mode and let the software do is job and there is new! Now I have to put a pin /password but I don't know which one ^^' ... I've tried to go back in download mode or hard reset mode but it don't work..
Edit2 : I don't get how but I manage to get in download mode. After that I perform a restore to another kdz and now I'm using the factory reset which seems to take a lot of time..
Thanks for the replies folks. Got it sorted out. This seemed to be the only way to get it sorted :
