how to start it into bootloader

does someone know how to do it?

Hold the photo button and then soft-reset. Keep holding for about 7 seconds, then release. That worked for me.

While your device is on, try holding the Camera button and pressing the reset until you see the screen with big red, green & blue color bands

If you want to enter in Bootloader mode you have to press and hold the Camera button, and in the same time you need to press the Power Button once.

1- Turn it off
2- Press and hold "camera" button
3- While still holding the camera button , connect the usb cable and keep the camera button pressed, then you'll get the Bootloader mode.

Power button broken!! Need help.

We dropped one of our wing's and now the ONLY thing not working is the power button at the top. I had psshutxp so I mapped "Display Switch" program to my camera button and I am using camera button to turn off the screen.
The problem I have now is when I took the battery out to change the SIM card - I don't have any way to start the phone.
I can hold the camera button and plug into my computer usb and get to the color screen where it shows the SPL and IPL numbers, is there any program or way to reboot the phone from command line, so that it can boot up?.

try not holding the camera button when you plug it in.
The camera button links to the bootloader, so by not pressing it, it will skip the bootloader screen and jump to the os.

If I don't hold the camera button, the phone won't start.

Problem with Falshing ROM

First, I updated my PPC ROM I got a problem with the start screen, it doesn't show "smart mobility" any more... but I got the white screen instead! what should I do.
Second. now my active sync doesn't work any more the USB line is fine the connection setting is setted to "USB"... And I still can use blue tooth to sync..
HOW DO I SOLVE THE PROBLEMS?

Thank you about your advice about the bootloader page... but it doesn't solve the Splash Screen is White... Apparently it seems that my rom is also no longer can be flash!! (TT)

Ok now, I have my situation solved!
I had to turn it back to the original SPL and then putinthe official ROM to make it back up to the Original state... then re Hard-spl again....

ELF0100 french ??

I have HTC ELF0100 need to add a french language ... but can't enter in bootloader mode to know the IPL and SPL ...and can't Reset too
i try this ways but not work
To enter the bootloader:
Hold down the camera button and reset device with the stylus. Keep holding the camera button until you see 'tricolor' bootloader screen.
An alternative way to enter bootloader:
Switch the device off by long pressing O/I (power) button. hold down the camera button while pressing the O/I button about 1 second. Keep holding the camera button until you see 'tricolor' bootloader screen.
Alternative(universal?) bootloader(3)
As almost all htc smartphones with onboard camera, when you push and hold the camera(photo) button, and plug in usb adapter. Even a "stupid" usb power adapter will work.
To hard reset:
Hold down send/reject buttons (green/red at the front) and reset with the stylus; release the stylus but keep holding the buttons till you get 'this will erase all your personal data' message, then press 'action' (big front button) to hard reset.

is it china made and writen in china i think is not exactly elf0100 it is good china copy i have same pb it have poor lcd quality

bootloader problem

Htc touch Hd- can't enter in bootloader
i press vol down then power button
nothing happens...it boots normally though i press these buttons...
i tried may times...but it doesn't work
any suggestions? Thank you

to enter bootloader mode on the HTC Blackstone is by way > press reset while holding the volume down and keep pressing both untill you see the tricolor on your device screen

by the way-
as i remember( i didn.n use blkstone for ages);
to enter bootloader on blkstone- just hold down volume btn and press and hold a bit power btn
- so "mariansony" u r absolutly RIGHT,
Ur problem "mariansony" might be.... take a look at the volume buttons under back batt cover.
you will see :
A\both- up and down btns are coated in black,
B\ one or both are well used,so you can see metal contacts....
if A applies -try HR than again
if B applies- u must press down button with no back cover on , use more pressure ,ideally with help of som metal stick (come on,bend fork's "middle finger" )
