You really did not look very hard, it is the 4th sticky down in the Tmo rom thread ... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=668347
Sorry to be harsh, but if you could not find a thread, that is that obvious, then why did you even attempt to flash the phone??
It does take some technical knowledge of the phone before you start screwing with them ..
You flashed a Stock HTC EU rom to your TMO US phone ....
If you had done ANY reading about your phone you would have found that the two are different phones , they look alike but they ARE different ...
Now Yes I am trying to piss you off, if you get mad you will go find the stuff yourself and learn it ...
We are here to help , the info is all over the site, but we cannot do it for you ...
So don't cry when people laugh at you for pulling a bonehead move ....
EDIT:
Just want to say, just like in life you pull a bonehead move here, people might feel sorry for you , but they are still gonna laugh ...

Hey you need to look back over the message I never said I couldn't find it on this site..but think you for the info.
Well send the phone back to HTC after 1 1/2 week got it back today but the phone is lock now...call them to let them know and they will give me the code have to check back in two days...but I have it back work is the big thing...
If you're wanting to make it stock again I'd suggest you get the the rom from the link provided. The IMEI code can be found on the back of the box that HD2 came in.

The phone hasn't even been out for a year and manufacturs warranty is a year. For HTC this is a simple fix as hooking up a jtag programmer and just flashing a new bootloader. 1st step is to walk into your tmo store you bought it from *****ing up a storm your lawyer dad just bought you that phone and he's pissed and wants them to replace it. Since you said you bought it from some unlock online place?????, weird you would buy the phone previously unlocked then come here to play with roms when you could of skipped all those steps and bought one on CL for $250 and paid $4 on ebay for an unlock code. Ok that being said option 2 if you bought it from a fly by night online company is to directly contact HTC begging them to flash a new bootloader for you and restore the phone to factory condition. Tell them you bought it from a store and make your own bs receipt to send in. 3rd option is to break the phone up and sell it off. The LCD and Digi will bring in $130 easy, case and battery will bring in $40-$50, buttons, mic, and radio chip, $50, then go buy a new one on CL for $250. Hope this helps you more hten the previous posts. But essesially they are right, you flashed a rom for a different phone to yours and now you phone thinks its a Euro HD2 and when it tries to fire up nothing connected to the right pins and it failing. If we had a pin out for the chip or epprom we may be able to fix this but I would imagine its going to require resoldering on a new epprom.

heh, three times a day in my experience.
No, lol , hahhahahah I'm glad he got his new phone. I just read his 1st post then the 5 post after that calling him stupid and decided I'd just hit reply.
I know this question has been answered somewhere i am just hoping someone can either give me a short answer or direct me to the answer.
Why can't i just back up with ROM manager? I ask because my camera button is broken and make any commands (thats what i get for getting a preowned phone)
thanks in advance
Second question
is there a way to give an enter command without the camera button
Here's a short answer: no.
However you may be able to take it to Verizon to get it fixed. Sometimes they don't care if it was preowned. You might as well give it a shot
the only reason i can't is because i'm rooted running 2.3.3 liberty so i don't think they will be too friendly... but its okay i think i can live until summer for a new phone
It's a hardware problem.. u can always try Or get insurance and wait... then pay your $100 deductible, or find a cell phone repair shop. Next time buy that squaretrade insurance.

That is why I said you should try. If an employee knows how to tell if you're rooted there is a good chance they do it themself and will be sympathetic towards you
hello guys, I just found a HTC desire hd in the bar where I work, its been 2 weeks since the guy lost it, what should I do, I know that this phone might be traced by internet or gps, or maybe I dont know, maybe I'm wrong...now I just want to keep it. any danger?
thanks
It probably can be if he's set it up right, but you can use that to help return it to him (assuming that's what you're intending). As far as I know it does use GPS.

The right thing to do is find out who's phone it is and return it , its pretty easy with the data kept on phones "now a days".. The HTC online service can used to lock the phone , wipe data , track phone etc. But this feature is useless if the phone is off or the sense account is deleted or changed on the phone.
Correct me if I'm wrong !

Previous post is completely correct. I'd just return it save you the trouble. I mean put yourself in their shoes, how would you feel if you lost you phone?
Do the right thing. Return it.
Hand it in to your local police station, make sure they log it and give you a reference number. Then after a set period of time, possibly 4 weeks, if the owner has not claimed it you can legally claim it.
However, the owner has probably reported it as lost and had it network barred. Not sure if you can then get it removed, but that is the right thing to do.
you'r right dude thanks

yeah man I got your point ty
I found some guys phone once, read his msgs and txt a few people to let them know I had found it. He rang me up on it and asked me to meet him at a certain place and time, I told him I was working at that time so would have to meet him an hour or so later, he went mad at me over the phone saying I should meet him when he said! I just laughed at him and told him Id be there later. After meeting up with the guy he showed no appreciation for what I had done to get his phone back to him, some people huh?
Wow miclair. That is just sad. You have much more class than I do. Still showing up and giving them the phone after they get.mad when you were trying to.do the right thing. I commend you for that.
Its maddening when you see the ugly side of humanity. Luckily along my way. I have met some remarkable people to still keep some faith alive in the goodness of people

When I lost my htc hd 2 year ago, I was so anxious and hopeful the person will return it. Given the situation I lost the phone, at following situation
1 am,
Empty land car park,
Poor light,
Less than 10 minutes from suspect lost spot
I was rushing my son for 24 hr clinic.
maybe hes gonna use Phone Finder app.
holy cow!! I think I just bricked my phone... I hope someone can help me.
Here's the situation. I was on the latest MIUI 1.6.17 demonSPEED v.1.2. Everything was awesome! Then today I went to my dentist and there was a sign that said that they are not in today and to call a number. I was about to call, then everything got stuck. I needed to call them, so I just did a flash in front of the dentist's office with the ROM I had on my SD card.
re-flashed v1.2 with no problem and I was about to select "reboot my phone", then I was like, oh i'll re-flash Swype as well... the swype zip got stuck for like 5 minutes during the flash (and I still needed to call the dentist). So I was like, ok I'll just pull off the battery and restart the flashing procedures...
That's when I put the battery back and the phone won't even boot up now. I'm now home (didn't even get to call my dentist yet after all that), and plugged in the charger and it won't even charge now (orange LED not turning on)... Can't even boot it in recovery. Phone is unresponsive to any buttons...
Does anyone know of any other way to even turn the phone on?
Geez, that was the Noobiest mistake ever!! All that because I had to make a call... WOw, I'm speechless thinking of my stupidity! I hope someone can help...
Thanks in advance guys!
Quite honestly dude i dont think you have much to hope for except to call tmo and tell them its broken. If its truly bricked even they cant confirm it since they cant turn it on. Only thing i think you could try is pluging it into your pc and trying to see if the pc recognizes it and lets you run adb commands or something similar. Hope this helps.

I doubt you'll have problems. Everyone I've ever heard of sending in the truly bricked phone has gotten it replaced for free but that's my experience. Most don't have a second thought about it because they know there's nothing t mo can do.

yup, the thing is that I'm not a T-Mobile customer anymore. I wonder how I'm even gonna get in contact with them to get a replacement. I remember from being their customer, that the first thing they ask you is your phone number with them. If you didn't have one, they just said they can't help you... Does that sound about right?

Send it back to HTC. It sounds like you got hardware issues not software. I don't think you even bricked your device.

yeah man, that was the analysis of the customer service rep that was helping me. He thinks that the battery somehow is knocked out... That's why he's shipped out a battery. Just waiting for that to confirm that it's the battery or something else! If that doesn't solve it, I'll have to send it back to HTC for repairs. Probably won't be able to get a replacement with T-Mobile since I cancelled my account with them like 4 months ago already... but thanks for the input!

took quite some time, but i should be receiving my repaired phone back next tuesday... HTC said that somehow the main board was the problem, so they replaced it... hopefully for a better one! haha
Hi guys,
First of all i wanna to apologize if i'm writing in the bad section: if so I wanna to ask to mods to move to the correct one if they think they have to do.
I've got my awesome Sony Xperia Z1 (from here to the end I will call it Z1, as y'all know what i mean! ) but the manufacturing problem i got is that the touch screen does not recognize multitouch specially while pinching or rotating (imagine in ingress, while you wanna rotate the map and it will zoom in or out or open a porta view or do something else than rotate... -.-°).
Ok, something things happen... a manufacturing problem/issue may occur! Not bad, Sony has done a great device.
So i was gone to the seller to show him what the problem is, but he does not want to change my phone, assuming i was out of one day from the seven day period time to ask for a substitution ... O.O OMG, i don't want my money back, i need to use my LEGAL WARRANTY
OooooK! no problem man, i will use the six months of Sony Topcare: awesome job again Sony, a courier come to pick my phone and send to the best repairing center ... Oook and so the 28th of October my phone has gone to the repair center, which recieved the item the 30th of October...
GREAT, they send me an email and told me they will replace my phone! That was also awesome, so i can have my phone back before any other "pink" ETA! Nice Sony, i like sooooomuch!
Wait, Murphy have said that "If something have to go wrong, surely it will DO IT!" And that's it the case! While phone is coming back home in the dispatch of an international courier just near my home, about 10 km, waiting to be scheduled for the delivery something wrong has happened!!
Armed Robbery! OMG -.-° ... ooooook don't panic! I call back Sony's repair center to report this, called the courrier, called mom and dad, called Kal El and Ktulu (just to say "Hey, James greets you! ) ... holy $"!/ Sony's as granted me that the item was shipped whit insurance, ok! "No problem man" you will have your phone back........... ASAP! Asap? How soon is ASAP? I've asked too more time, but the more i ask the more they answer me "When we will know something, we will contact you!"
Ok ok ok ok, don't panic, don't get angry, .... I'M FURIOUS! Come on! I'm talking of what? A lady from the repair center has told to me that
"When we will get some unofficial documents to proof the robbery before the official documentation of the robbery from the courrier we will send you a new phone! That will take 5 day at max!"
"Ok, don't get worried" i repeat to myself... but Why get worried? I'm not covered by any insurance, cause i've spent 699€ to get that phone, not working from te beginning and... Oh my God i'm in the 14th of November aaaaaaaaaaaaand? Where's my phone???
Thinking back to that lady, i got something in the rows not told: "When we will get the insurance price, we will send your phone!" IS THAT TRUE? Or is only my mind doing me this trickly thinking?
What do you think?
Ok that's my story, what device i got? A multiple-times-selfrepaired LG Optimus 2X, not the max of the life but ... hey hey!
"Things Sometimes HAPPEN!"
Please, forgive my bad english... Yep i'm from Italy and, like Simpsons say: That's Italy!
get the police report from your local police station and send to sony. That is provided the courier company filed this report in the first place.
That is what sony needs to give to the insurer to release the funds.
Hehe...you are interesting man.
Yeah man s**t happens
Sent from my Z1
Hey man, i'm interesting? Nice to ear that but that lady that have to send my phone recieved my phone call thursday and let me speak with her colleauge:
"You have anticipated the email we was sendi to you!" OMG, are you kidding me? so the story ends so? -.-°
Got my mind calm and go ahead cuz the girl need to ask me something else...
"Hey, Mr "My Surname", can you confirm your address cuz the last time the item was in the courier stock...."
STOCK? Wtf are you saying me?!?!?! -.-° Why you have to make me angry like a mad dog? -.- Seriously! WHY? She cutted me out and ask for my address, assuming that there was nothing to clarify... as she assume, but let the phone come to my hands next Monday, try it if all things work as they have... and call the courier cuz i WANNA KNOW WHAT KIND OF $H!& has happened!
however, asked for another repairing center to Sony, cause i don't wanna see no more the first...
People have to be treated like they deserver, not like your humor condition espacially if you don't know and have no confidence at all... and also, i you have said something that you have never to say, ;P Hey sis, is your fault, not mine!
However, i wanna to say to all italians reading this, check it out! Don't use italian Sony Topcare program, please, people have to learn some professionality before to do their work!
Sorry even if this seems like a claim, it was never meant to be! Take like if i've shared my widsome upone that story aaaaaaaaaaand... hoping that all things go well this time.. -.-° i don't wanna speak before the end...
-.-°
