Build.prop - What are the settings for Verizon Network - Droid Eris Android Development

I am wondering if anyone can shed some light on the
ro.cdma...etc= ..... settings in the build.prop - I am on verizon network and am wondering what the settings do exactly and what values should be in there ???
Thanks for the ideas

relevant parts are:
ro.telephony.default_network=4
ro.cdma.home.operator.numeric=310012
ro.cdma.home.operator.alpha=Verizon
ro.cdma.homesystem=128,64
ro.cdma.data_retry_config=default_randomization=960000,960000,960000,960000,960000
ro.com.google.clientidbase=android-verizon

Thanks For the help

np...forgot to mention ro.product.brand=verizon

Is it just me or is that stray space in the 960000s not supposed to be there?

im honestly not sure about that... (checks RUU/OTA)

weird... that space isn't really there... just the way it shows up on XDA... when i go to edit the paost there's no space

stray space, not showing up when quoting either.
default_network=4 is a nice setting to implement when flashing from vzw contract to vzw mvno.

[SOLVED]Data Connection Not Being Configured On Initial Customization???

I'm pretty sure thats what its called, you know after the first flash, where you set up wifi networks, social accounts ect... , for now I shall call it the customization screen
So yeah, the problem is, after flashing, usually the data connection is configured as the first part of the initial customization process, right? For some reason thats not happening for me, its going straight onto wifi networks and so my data connection isnt set up... And so if you go to turn data on in the wireless manager, it goes to the windows connections screen where it asks you to set it up manually.. so I need to get this sorted before I can release my rom.
I hav OOBE selected in the packages, not sure what else I can do...
Thanks in advance
Which ROM to use ?
Check if you have the Connection Setup and LEO_ConnectionSetup_WVGA in your EXT package.

What do you mean which rom? do you mean device? its a leo, and its my personal rom
No I dont have either of them. Is that the problem? lol, where could I get them from? its a dump of 2.10 with updated packages from 2.13
Here you go...
Place 'ConnectionSetupDB' in your OEM and 'ConnectionSetup' in EXT.
Tmous doesn't use Connection setup in stock.
Btw the initflashfiles.dat entries I've already added as well as app.dat.

BTW how to know wich db file is for wich carrier and country i like to stripp the pkg a lil cause its huge!!!! and my poor 64 MB device sucks
Read this article from Ondraster and Twopumchump.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=599436
I don't think that Connectionsetup has anything to do with HTCFramework or I must be mistaking.
Maybe you forgot the initflash entry?

; NetworkWizard
;===============================================================================
Directory("\Windows\Help"):-File("Connection Setup.lnk","\Windows\ConnectionSetup.lnk")

Solved : Remove carrier tag on status bar

Can be done by apktool decrypting status_bar.xml in the layout folder.
Under first LinearLayout... you need to replace the next two lines with the following...
<TextView android:textSize="0.0sp" android:textStyle="bold" android:textColor="#ffffffff" android:gravity="center_vertical" android:id="@id/screenName" androidaddingLeft="6.0dip" androidaddingRight="6.0dip" android:layout_width="0.0dip" android:layout_height="0.0dip" android:singleLine="true" android:layout_alignParentLeft="true" />
this adjusts the padding and layout width and height to 0.
This is in the framework-res.apk and not in services.odex or androidpolicy like other android devices.
Thanks to Jhotman again for pointers on APKtool.... will update the 345gingerkrad with an option to have the framework without the Carrier.
this has been asked by me and a few other people. i find it to be completely useless as it is in several other places like the lockscreen, the notification shade, and settings. it doesnt need to be in more places, so if you find out, let me know.
I saw a thread in here and me and a couple others asked how he did it and never got any response
jhotman?????? help me out buddy!

I have searched and started a thread in android hacks general for help on this.
Please post links. Stephen Hyde would also like to know how to do this
Sent from my Dell Streak
Go to the search function search for remove carrier and select dell streak form you will find it in the results.
from what i found , you have to hex edit some lines , resign, etc.
a bit involved for me.
here's a thread that worked for 1.8.1

T-Mobile Build.prop

Does anybody have the contents of the T-Mobile build.prop that they could copy and past here, or share the file?
I wanted to look through it out of curiosity and to see if there was anything that could enable the "Left Most Screen" functionality.
Thanks in advance.
