[Q] HTC Evo 4G 2.3 Sense Gingerbread Rom??

Hi everyone.
I'm looking for a Rom for my HTC Evo that is running 2.3 and that has sense.
My buddy told me about a Rom called Sensation? Not sure if it's out yet.
He also told me that Cyanogenmod has a Rom called Cyanogen Nightlines? That's running 2.3 Gingerbread.
I like sense though I've been looking for a long time for a 2.3 build with sense. Are there any? Or are they all without sense?

CM-7 is gingerbread but has no sense whats so ever its all AOSP. As for 2.3 sense it has not yet been released so you won't find any roms yet afaik

You will not find a 2.3 sense rom until one is leaked or released by HTC. CyanogenMod is based off of the AOSP source code and is close to stock Android.

Thanks for all the help guys. Has anyone tried nighlines or whatever its called? Should I try it...not sure if its worth loosing sense.

Yeah probably lol. I've tried without sense it's just weird. Im debating if I should give it another chance.

Also, is CM7 the only 2.3 Rom?

that is just up to you and your opinions.... most of the 2.3 ROMs have some bugs and issues....CM7 is a little more stable. and launcher Pro is really great for $3. analog sense clock widget is a good replacement, but it does not have the animation!

Does CM7 and the stock 2.3 look the same?
I'm sure CM7 has better battery life and what not.

Not at all. As said, CM7 is based on stock Android 2.3, so it's AOSP. That big flip-clock that you get on a brand-new HTC phone is part of Sense. Search Google Images, plus check out the threads for each ROM to get an idea of what it looks like before you flash.
edit: there may be a *few* similarities, but they are quite few.

Can someone port eVoKINGS UNleashed Ultra R2 to the HD2

i like that windows 7'ish keyboard!

If you like this theme i once installed a motorola sense for hd2 RAM ROM EDITION not NAND it has plus minus the same look.

But you need to reinstall windows mobile and start haret.exe like in old times.
Maybe one day one of the cooks could port it to hd2 but it s not that easy as an copy paste.
They already have a lot of work with their roms.

Better yet can we just get an apk of that awesome keyboard?

It wont be hard, but I need to receive authors permission if i would like to do it.

I just PM eVoKINGS to see if he would let someone port this build for the HD2
Update eVoKINGS has given us permission to port the build to the HD2 as long as we keep the name of the build and give credit to eVoKINGS and his group ACS

I also pm'd imilka and he said he will try

That is one sick ROM. When I seen imilka I was like
Hope this ROM gets ported. Love the blacks. That ACS team does some nice ROM's.

That's the MyTouch 4G's version of sense. Imilka has a NAND ROM version of that.

We do more then roms. You should check out the epic theme section and see some of are themes

Idk how the hd2 works with android but I might be able to make something happen if the demand is there

Like the framework? See the HD2 isn't a native Android phone so it'd be a bit hard as there are so many different ROM's etc... I think.

ok, im gunna make a new rom. any ideas guys?
porting requests from DHD are welcome.

Any Sense type ROM that has a 5 button Rosie like the doubleshot one. Also add wifi calling and rotating rosie.
There was that start of the flyer sense rom and it had a 5button rosie on it.

hmm a flyer rom would be reaally hard due to resizing, and theres already two 3.5 sense roms.... might make a themed 3.5 though

Is it possible to have a different Rosie other than the 5 button one? I currently run the doubleshot but could use more screens as this rom only has 5

[Q] Pink Sense 3.5 Skin?

I'm looking for a pink skin for my daughter. I have mikrunny installed on her phone and she really likes pink, so any help would be great. I have been searching but I'm not finding anything.

Yeah i know how to make themes I've made a few but I was hoping to make it easy on me and just find a pink skin but it looks like I'll just have to make her a theme. Thats OK cause at least this way I can do what I want with it but it sucks she likes sense 3.5 cause I'm kind of limited to what can be themed on it. I might just grab a sense 3.0 ROM for her and theme it then install that on her phone.

I'm running sense 3.5 and I can theme everything on the rom. You just gotta make sure its a sense 3.5 rom without tweaks.

Themeing the dock is pretty hard. I have never tried myself. You will have to decompile rosie.apk and modify it to your liking.

Sense 4 theme for Andromadus Beta 3

Hi, can someone make an Sense 4 theme for Andromadus Beta 3? I saw that ROM support themes, but I don't have any installed. I would be very grateful for this theme, maybe other people too

You do know that there is a Sense 4.0 rom for our devices? You should try it, its called Ice Cream SENSEwich Beta 6 and can be found in the development thread. Although it lacks some features like camera and wifi hotspot, you will be able to get the full sense 4.0 experience if thats what you're looking for.

Theme support was not available in Andromadus until Beta 4. But now that it is, go to Google Play and search "Theme Sense 4 CM9/AOKP". They have the theme for $1.18 and a trial version for free.
