I'm using Azure ROM with google apps, but I can't connect to my Google account. I always get a "no connection" message, or something like that, but the internet connection works in all the other apps.
I had a similar problem on the stock ROM - the only app that worked was the browser (on 3G).
I don't care about the emails, I can use the email app for that, I just need the market. All the QR codes lead to the market
Maybe someone should suggest a good website where I can find a lot of apk's to download.
Anyone ?
btw which facebook app do you use ? I tried 2, but none of them works.

Reset the phone, same thing happened to me after i tried to install flash on my Legend! Google app saver .apk and install it with HTC Sync, and that'll save all your apps!
U mean factory reset ? It didn't work on the stock ROM, I don't think it would work now... did you have the same problem as me ?
What is Google app saver ? I didn't find no such thing.
btw I don't have HTC sync, because I don't use Windows and I don't use the HTC ROM anymore.

I meant to actually Google the word AppSaver!Here The factory reset fixed the Google apps problem, but i dont use Facebook but can't comment on that!
Yeah, I found it later. But I have all my apps installed on my SDcard so I don't think I need it.
Maybe I'll try factory reset, but I just downloaded a ton of .apk's so I don't really need it right now.

Hi gentlemen (and ladies ).
I'm having an issue with my Nexus One (and the misses with her Desire).
Both of them are up to date, stock rom, nothing fancy installed.
I (and her) are unable to install the new YouTube application. We can't find it in the market, nor can we update through AppBrain for example.
So my question to you all is: WHY?
We live in Belgium.
Extra: My Nexus One can't update Amazon MP3 and Voice Search neither.
All other updates work correctly, I just received the GMail update, so that works just fine .
Any suggestions?
I also cannot install the new YouTube app. I've tried a ton of times now, so its not you it must be a problem on Google's end. Should be fixed soon.
Youtube installed fine for me.
Maybe you have a version thats signed differently ? themed?
try uninstalling what you have first.
Try uninstall the app with Titanium Backup and then install from market. This resolves the problem for me

Yup, this is what I've always done. I had to do it with the new Gmail and YouTube apps.
I use root explorer to delete the app from \system\apps then reboot and re-install from market. Simple enough, though I usually still have to reboot between removing and reinstalling.
Kind of a pain but that's what we get for running custom rom's I guess

I've tried quite a few ways to get access to known Market apps with no luck - even friends of mine can get them but I can't on my two devices (Wildfire and Pioneer Tablet).
Can anyone help? I have tried Market Enabler, and the Appbrain Fast Installer and Web Installer which do not owrk anymore
The one App I am trying to get and have messaged the Dev with no luck for the .APK is 'Andro Daft' - its free and not really an important app but hey, I like Daft Punk. Weird thing is I can find the QR codes all over the net but nothing finds it on my market...and I have already got one of the Devs apps -so he isnt banned/whatever.
Any and all help is appreciated!

Lol that's weird, i searched it up in the market and i can see it.
What rom are you on? Don't forget to clear your market cache and data after you flash his patch (latest one is v6.1 i think) and before you open up the market.

I'm using WildPuzzleROM 2.2.1 v0.7, cleared cache, reflashed ROM twice thinking it might have stuffed other things up. It even did it on factory tel$tra firmware... its weird cos a mate not even 40km away can get it but he isn't exactly versed enough to know how to extract an apk to email to me lol.
I have the same problem. I can't use fast web installer, i fount it on market, i install it, but i get this error.

i am new to this forum, recently i brought htc wildfire but i am unable to download any applications from android market, when i log in android market website it shows no android device found with this id try another id, this is same id which i was entered initial phone setup.
And also i am not able to open android market application in my mobile when i click on this its take some time to loading and immediately close the application.
I try many forums for the solution some people told me to make factory reset i did but same prob no use.

if u're using stock rom it's a bit strange :s did you set your account google ?
Freshly format your phone. During initial setup add gmail account and after setup make sure you enable background data and autosync.
And first you need to use phone market application to download something. If it gives error wait for sometime and download again. Then you can even access market from browser.
And suppose if you format the phone and haven't added gmail account yet, then you cannot use market through browser until you add the account to phone and download atleast an app from phone market (actually accepting to market "terms of service" is enough. It comes for 1st time when you open market).

yes i have only normal gmail account its need any special account ????
Did you try to hard reset it? It will work. And make sure after the hard reset you have a WIFI/3G/Edge so you can follow the on-screen instructions and then try to download from the Market. You won't face any problems...

hard reset mean factory reset ?? i did it but same problem no solution.

Dear i did according to ur procedure, i made factory reset but same problem
Hi guys and girls,
I'm getting error -110 after I'm trying to install something from the market. Some times clearing the history helps me to install the app but the new app not working, always FC.
For now I can't use it at all. I can update my apps but can't download new apps.

Delete your gmail account and restart..Ive got the same issue with my xoom and it helped. Anyway I solved chanching the rom...

I already changed 3 Sense3.5 ROMs, on MIUI and CM7 the market working great.
It also works after HR but after a while I'm still getting -110...
I'll try to delete the account and update.

*Edit: i can't remove google account, it tells me to HR... ;(
Try to create a new one, then set the second to default market account. Delete the first one and restart.
This way it will be working...

Download Market 3.4.4.apk from internet. Just google it, plenty of sources. Install it. The new market will replace the old one. Sign out of your google account and in manage apps menu, clear data for the market.apk.
Sign in to your google account again.
You're good to go.
I already deleted the account and registered a new one. I'll try it with the new account, i did a Nanadroid backup before so I always can back.

Try removing market.apk completely with titanium backup, the install the one you downloaded. If that doesn't work, find another ROM.
EDIT: Also, when you install after removing it, clear cache and data before starting.
EDIT2: This can also happen if you are using market enabler.
Well, it didn't work. (I don't use market enabler.)
After removing the market by titanium i couldn't install the "new" market. Was getting "app not installed". After 3 times i succeed and installed it and on the first download -110 error...
I did HR with the same ROM and opened a new account on Google. It's working and I'm downloading new apps without errors. Now all I left to do is wait for couple of days or weeks...

Don't panoc lol. Try re-flashing your ROM again. Sign in with your google account and try again. This has happened to a lot of people with the new Nexus, not as much with other phones but it happens I guess. Just flash another ROM and see what happeness.

Just for update.
I was with the Virtuous Affinity 2.05.0 Sense 3.5 ROM and after a lot of HR and re flashing the ROM i decided to change the ROM.
I flashed LeeDrOiD HD V5.1.1 Sense 3 and till now it's ok. No errors at all.
personally i think this is a google issue and not a rom issue.
Reason being is i have a desire hd, an archos 101 g9, archos 5a, samsung galaxy tab all on the same gmail account. When i get this it happens accross all 4 devices and not just one, i think there is a max amount that google allows you to download a day then when you hit it you get a -101 unknown error, usually it clears itself in 24 hours - well thats my experiance....
Well, I don't think it's a google issue.
I installed tons of apps in one day without any errors and on the previous ROM i installed only a few with this error.
In addition look at the other errors I got ( i couldn't install even APKs):

So I deleted the google service in titanium, startet maps,and nothing happend. Now I cant use the market, my gmail, sync with my google acount or anything.
What can I do, to get my phone working proberly again?

I cant remember the exatct name, but when I deleted it, it asked me if I want to remove that apk. Is it possible to install just an apk, in order to get my phone working, or do I have to flash standard rom and so on?
