Hi, I'm using Pocket Outlook to send SMS and MMS (MMSLite). The read/compose font is very small and I was wondering if there's a way to change the font size. Increasing the WM5 system font works but it also affects the characters in my Today screen. Thanks.
Is there really no way to change Pocket Outlook font size? They're way too small.
check out this prog, it is mainly to change the threaded sms in 6.1 to the old sms display, but in the options there is something about the font size, am not sure which rom you are running but give a try ( backup your contacts and sms in case of anything goes wrong)

Mad1980, thank you very much. SMS Tweaker v1.0 is for WM6.1, I'm using 5.0 but I installed it anyway. I actually don't understand the difference between Normal mode and Threaded mode because even if I switch modes Outlook view remains the same. Even if I increase the font size it also doesn't change, probably because I'm using WM5.
I don't mind if those features don't work because after I installed the software the font changed to Tahoma and I like it a lot better than the default Outlook font. I don't know what it's called but it's really ugly. Tahoma has better character spacing and the regular characters are bigger than the previous one.
I'm really happy. Thanks again but I have one more problem. I'm using MMSLite to send and receive MMS on Outlook, it's still using the default Outlook font. How do I change it to Tahoma just like my SMS font?
Hahaha, I'm so happy. I finally found the answer here.

I used Pocketの手 to change the Outlook font.
am happy that i helped some how , i am checking the link you gave
as for the treaded mode and normal mode, its an option in 6. that shows ur sms in a way similar to chat......
I have noticed that emails I have created or the responses I have type to other emails on the GT have a really small font that is difficult for some people to read.
I have tried to find a setting in the email app packaged with the GT but don't see anything in regards to font size.
Is it a system wide font issue that I can only detect during external activities like email? SMS and Web posts shouldnt be affected since the destination controls the font but with email clients supporting RTF and HTML, it's an issue.
Thoughts?
No one else with this issue?
I'm on 2.2.1. I want to take a picture and when I send a text piture it auto resize it to less than 500K. Is this possible on droid x?
yes, you can use handcent or gosms. they have a setting for max size and will auto resize it for you.
thank you, i'll try those apps
Handcent is awesome and I found it supports MMS better. It actually alerts you of having one to download unlike the stock messaging app that sits there until you open that message thread from the sender.
Sent from my DROIDX using XDA App
Does anyone here have problems with the font size increasing while composing an email?
WHen reading i have the font size set to tiny. When i hit compose it turns to large without any options to change the font.
Change the font size in the settings menu had no change.
I really like the stock email client and emailing is a big reason for me to have this phone so any help to this matter would be great.
i hit something trying to answer a call while i was texting and the text is huge and i can't seem to find an option to reduce it anywhere. text everywhere else on the phone and apps is fine. i tried every setting i could find in the messaging app and can't find anything related to text size for this specific app. thanks for any help in advance. driving me nuts
On my Sprint version it's System Settings - Display - Font size. So it is in the system settings window not the messaging app settings, at least on mine.
Default sms app is actually zoomable. Pitch in. Text size also modifies it.
