Copy the downloaded zip file to openrecovery/updates and apply using OR. Androidiani OR is recommended. Wipe dalvik/cache in OR before applying. Use Cyanogenmod settings to change your date, time and notification ticker color to white(ffffffff) .

There is already a version with no animation. By no lockscreen image, you mean black background or the same background as homescreen?

It would be nice to have this option. I changed mine so that the locksreen wallpaper is just solid black (no offense but I don't like your pelican image) but I'd like it to behave the same way as the regular lockscreen does.
Other than that, very nice theme. Black menus, animations, proper Gingerbread looking notification blind. Good work.

Will you update your theme for future updates of CM for Milestone? I'm using the theme "GingerStone" right know but have some problems with the latest version of CM and this theme, so I would like to know if your theme is "futureproof".

I just installed your theme and it is totally awesome! Thank you a lot for the hard work you've put into it. It is much better than GingerStone.
I have only one problem: I can't decide which animation I should use
Edit: I just found out that the clock on the lock screen and clock app still uses the old Android font. Can you please replace it with the one from Gingerbread?

Itstead of including this to all the animations and uploading again, what you can do is copy the fonts that you sent me into the fonts folder under /system folder in the theme zip file and apply the theme again in OR. Wipe dalvik/ cache before applying. I'll make sure to include it from my next update. Ok.

I wont make a version for everyone as it will cease to look like Gingerbread then. I'll see if i can make a version for you alone. Which animation do you want it for?

By the way: I just changed the font and it works, but the clock app still shows the old font. I guess one has to modify the APK in order to get the new font...

I'm talking about the font on the clock app itself. I was able to change the font on the lockscreen by replacing the font with your instructions.

[Q] REQ: Semi-transparent statusbar for Oxygen 2

Desperate waiting for someone to come up with a theme that has 50% semi-transparent statusbar for Oxygen Gingerbread.
Or rather, just the statusbar without theme.
Tried to modify using Ninjamorph, but device would just restart and restart.
So if someone can do it, or give advice on how i can put it there, please help.

I would love a transparent status bar always, on any ROM I use.
I know there are ways to do this yourself, customize it in a way.
but i've read and its pretty hard, thinking of doing this every time after I flash a new rom.
I dont like a full theme, but i do like to have a transparent status bar on my homescreen, like the one in MIUI for example.
Maybe its possible for theme developers here to create a flashable transparentstatusbar.zip for some of the main AOSP roms, oxygen, cyanogen, villain
I would appreciate it a lot.

Oh i was unclear. What i meant was, just the statusbar, not the statusbar menu (although the menu is very nice as semi-transparent too)

It's amazing, i have searched through all internet, and still not found working solution... tried different framework files and always ended up in boot-loop.
how hard can it be?!
Why MIUI rom has transparent status-bar and oxygen or cyanogen not?
It seems weird to have old-school win98 style (or worse) status-bar, wen we have such power in our phones nowadays. And I assume that if MIUI can do it, it should be possible...
I hope that someone figure out a working solution. I will thank this guy in advance

Can i get normal icons for TripNMIUI.
I love the theme but i don't like the icons and launcher.
I use different launcher but icons don't look good in that.
So is there any icon pack with normal icons for this ROM ?

Tons! Try the android 2.3 icon set/theme

Unfortunately, the 2.3 Icons are smaller than the regular icons and look weird on the regular launchers like Zeam. I would honestly love to know a solution to this problem as well due to the good battery life on MIUI.

I just tried and they were bigger than normal for me... Are you sure you're using the right 2.3 theme?

[THEME][Oxygen 2.1.3] HTC slate Skin port v3 01/06/11 2.1.3 compatible

This is a ported version of the HTC slate skin from sense 2.0 for Oxygen 2.1.3
I love the look of the new sense but I also love the speed and lightness of Oxygen.
Initial theme was done using UOT kitchen and I then substitute some drawable-hdpi and edited some XML:

Fixed random FC after menu text color was changed

you can either change the xml code for the writing or more easily
and better looking imo, make the popup menus black, like how they
are in gingerbread by changing :
menu_background_fill_parent_width.9.png
menu_background.9.png
menu_separator.9.png
These files are in framework-res or maybee systemui for gingerbread, im not sure.
I think these are the files for the menus but have a look and
see if they look like the same thing, you can just swap them for some
stock gingerbread ones which are black.

What's the name of the clock? FancyWidgets?

@esk02k Thanks for the tips, I was thinking about keeping the white background as in the Slate skin but I will probably go for a dark background until I find a solution
@Csharpe Yes it is Fancy Widget, could not find a Slate skin for it though so it is the standard H7C one.
Edit: I just made my own skin for FancyWidget, links on first post.

i was in the same boat but never solved it because its hidden somewhere for
htc sense. I was trying to turn the menus black and the text white,
for stock android you should be able to sort it tho.

I guess it should be cut from a Desire HD screenshot and edited. I will try if I have time.
Just made a new version with stock gingerbread icons on statusbar but I modified the to glow in blue so that they blend better with this theme.

Great work! Just tested the theme on Oxygen 2.1.1 and it looks fantastic. The blue is not too strong so in my opinion looks great! Keep up the good work!
One request if possible, can the battery percentage be removed?

Agreed, this was a great theme.

Updated Theme for 2.1.3 compatibility. I will keep only the version with blue icons on status bar.

I do not plan to do a devnull version but you never know
I did this theme for myself and I am happy with Oxygen, If anybody wants to convert it for devnull, feel free to do so and share.

Lockscreen icons

Is there any chance to change lockscreen icons look?
As I see icons are always default one from theme which is used. If I change app icon in drawer or on home screen, icon for that(same) app is still default on lockscreen.
Is it somehow possible to set your own icons? Maybe with root? But still don't know how ...

Root, Xposed (not sure about lg compatibility though?) or maybe via Substratum.

If the icons were themed then they should stay themed on the lock screen? If you dont mind, which theme are you using? maybe there is another resolution of icon that needs to be added for this to be shown.
And which icons are they??
What launcher are you using??
I can say that i have found on my themes that even though i themed my icons, that when i press the home screen to change wallpapers that the original gallery icon shows up. So i may need to add different sizes and get those the right size.

The only problem is, that there's hard to found theme with all the icons. For example, non of original LG theme don't have exDialer icon.
So, a little playing with themes help somehow.

No sadly we cant theme non system applications with this theme engine. And what can do is still limited. We cant touch everything.
So yea you will need to find an icon pack that works. Sorry
