I have noticed that as soon as I turn on my phone the battery percentage goes down. BUT, if I leave it off for a couple days, the battery use when I turn it on seems to be still pretty good. Is there a way to get the same battery life with the phone on as when it is off and not used at all?

Is there a way to get the same battery life with the phone on as when it is off and not used at all? When I went down to my Tmo store to confront them about this problem they told me to go to another store. Since I took the bus I asked the manager to call a taxi for me. After the long ride to the nearest store I pulled up to the house at about 7 or 8 and I yelled to the cabbie, "Yo holmes, smell ya later." I looked at my kingdom I was finally there. To sit at my throne as the Prince of Bel Aire.

I guess i'd left the flash on for a little too long, and the damn thing's turned extremely "dim". It barely lights an object a few millimeters away from it now....hate it, the first screwed up part on my device
But who cares! I never would use the silly camera nor the flash!
It kept slipping my mind, until now....when i was about to take a picture of a funny looking bug on my table
Cheers!

Don't know how long you guys are using this for, but next time, open the curtains instead It's only meant to be for short term use! Warnings are posted on my website
I'm sorry for your loss though. I know how much you love your Universal...

(Not that the flash (if it worked) would have blinded the crazy primate though )
This is the only app I miss from my Android experiment. It's due to hit with the Windows Mobile Market. Guess I'll have to upgrade to 6.5 now.
ShopSavvy now will use Bing Maps instead of Google.

I tried it on the MyTouch 3G before I returned it for a Touch Pro 2, and while it's an awesome little program it always had few or no listings for my area, and some of the stores it missed on products I know have said products in stock. If it can improve it's local listings, I'd definitely jump on it again.
any word when this apps coming?? this apps really useful and bad ass!!! hope that its coming sooner then later cause they did say its coming for wm6.5!!
I emailed them about it a couple of weeks ago, and all they said was they were still working on it. I couldn't get much out of them at all.

I already told my loved ones that there will be no Christmas this year unless I get ShopSavvy!
Just got a repsonse back from Big In Japan... The WiMo version has been stalled out a little bit due to difficulties with the MANY different camera configurations and a few other pressing projects that have fast approaching deadlines. But don't worry. It's still on my radar.
Looks like I'll be headed back to Android for a while!
So as usual, I was on my way home with the bus. When I wanted to get out at my town I couldn't find my bus pass any more. Two girls helped me find it but as soon as I got off the bus and it drove off, it struck me - I left my phone in the bus!
I rushed home to turn on my computer and check Prey - thank God I installed it a few days ago! Since I was in the bus I had put the phone to mute because I didn't want to bother other passengers with annoying notification sounds.
It seemed as if it were near the train station where I got on the bus, so I drove there right away. In the meantime, I talked to public transport customer service and they told me I had to take better care of my stuff. Also, they only did effort finding things like laptops (while this phone costs more than most regular laptops).
However, when I was at about 300 metres away of the train station, my moms phone rang. It was my phone calling. A girl said she found my phone in the bus and I could pick it up at a town next to mine.
When I arrived it turned out to be the same girl who helped me find my bus pass.
I'm pleased to have realised there are still genuinely honest people, and thank God I have my phone back.
Just wanted to share this story with you, letting you guys know that losing your phone might not necessarily mean you won't ever find it back.
However, please take this as an advice and install anti-theft software on your phones. You never know when a hectic situation occurs, making you lose sight of your phone.

Thank you for sharing your Story....

Hello everybody,
I've looked everywhere on the web for an explanation of what has been happening since long time ... but I have not found anything.
Why I find into processes that "suck up" battery always "Multimedia" on top level?
I do not understand what could depend on .... moreover the percentage increases more and more during the days.

In the second picture there are 3 packages inside. I exclude the first two because I'm not downloading anything but I think it may depend on "Archivio multimediale".
tempFileForShare1.jpg
I have a 32 GB MicroSD with stored music, videos and photos (many) but I thought that once phone start and it runs "multimedia scan" in background should no longer affect the battery consumption after it will be finished.
Please give me an explanation.
Thank you!
I woke up this morning to the same exact problem.
My phone went from fully charged down to 15% while I was sleeping in a little extra. 3 hours and it was dead.
Since then I have installed a few items. Particularly the Apollo app that CM makes you use.
The multi media crap has so far stopped.

Having strange problem with battery status showing a hashy line (can't think of another way to describe it).
Any help would be appreciated.

2 Things:
What build number are you on?
Are you having any issues with battery life? (Random jumps in percentage, decreasing battery life, etc.)
N4F26O
Haven't noticed issues with battery life just this is behavior and last night it didn't charge.

That's really odd. Are the odd parts where you were expecting it to charge? If so, something might be wrong with the charger, or it might have had a bad connection. It looks like it kept jumping all over the place. Either that or something bugged out. Other than that, I have no idea.

Yeah i expected it to charge... Haven't had problems with the charger before.
Guess I'll just try a different charger and get it to 100% hopefully that will clear out the history and I'll go from there.
