i tryed to set thumbcal and sunnysoft contact as default calendar and contacts manager with ssmapa like on the diamond and raphael, but on the hd it don't work. close manila and since i delete ssmapa patch manila did not appear..
solution?

Did you remember to do the bit about dragging your files onto the Unsigner app? TF3d isn't available on my HD after doing a change until I do that step

Use the latest version of SSMaPa, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=447481&highlight=ssmapa. It will do the unsigining function for you. I have iContact and PocketInformant running as replacement just fine.

I just completed this process 20 mins ago. I think the alphs 0.2.2.2 is the latest released 11/19/08. But I'm pretty sure its the same in respect to the automatic unsigning.
Now its linked to Pocketinformant ..... Niiiicccceee.
Oh.. do a search in This thread for "TF3d Customizer". Thats the name of the thread. I think its on page 10 or 11 right now.
Second post, the person gives a really good detail how to link this.

Is there away to map TF3D "All People" to Pocket Informant--contacts? Is it the same path as the Calendar?
I successfully mapped the calendar to a specific view in PI8. But I dont know if it will work with the contacts. It seems like once you apply this patch, if it dont work then you are messed up and have to HARD RESET.
If it does work, do "Menu" work in TF3D?

How to get images from TF3D

All is in the title, How can we get images from TP2 TF3D to edit them ?

Go to your Windows folder and copy out every single _manila file. Then load Manila Editor which can be found by searching XDA and go through them 1 by 1 to see which is which and then replace the images with ones created.
There are about 400 files, its time consuming

Manila Editor doesn't work with TP2 or TD2 manila images

Works fine for me. You use it on your PC and edit the files there. I did all my Neon images with Manila Editor

With Manila Editor, we can just put images in manila but we cant get them !
I don't wanna just make a theme, I want also make Apps in Manila style !
I didn't precise it but i have an HD with a TP2 Rom (Miamiam's Mia 2.3 in french)

Haha, thanks! Probably took me a day or so. Once you get into it, it gets quite easy, but very repetative!

Not true, You can export the images as PNG.

Manila Editor 0.2 works. I finally got the icons that I wanted. Thanks nicelad_uk.

You can also use CFC 0.55.
Search for this it also has a nice GUI.

I had problem with CFC 0.55. It was much easier to use but some how could not get the icons to work.

[DISCUSSION][UNSOLVED] Differences in Manila Core(Manila 2_5_201212225_0 adding tabs)

I'm pretty stuck upgrading my rom to the new Manila core so many ppl are asking here in forum.
Many chefs included these Manila versions but I'm having a very hard time patching it to my liking so I wonder how you guys patched it?
Or maybe you didn't patch it at all and the functions I mention below just don't work in your rom?
Or maybe you are using a Manila which you don't need to patch at all and all these functions work default?
I'm no Manila expert but I tried to mix the Manila packages to get it working but no joy untill now.
Maybe someone knows how to fix the homebutton how Hank2 did on HTC Blackstone?
I tried to fix it using the files from Dopod Manila into Topaz Manila but it just doesn't work.
Also mixing packages doesn't work because the Core files are different.
I can't find any topics about it so I taught lets ask so we can improve Manila together so we have a good upgraded standard?
Maybe I'm the only Manila nOOb on this forum?
Here are the differences I discovered:

Cons:
No stock tab
No Twitter
Topaz Manila_Core_2_5_20113030_0

Hardware homebutton doesn't work
No Footprints
Correct me if I'm wrong.
It would be great to have all HD2 standards in rom, Footprints plus stock tab plus Homebutton working, anyone is willing to coloborate?
Anyway I'm going to investigate more and hopefully find something I can share with you.

The Manila I will use you can find in this Russian shipped rom shared here thanks to t0mmyr:

It contains Dopod_Manila_Core_2_5_20112328_0 plus working homebutton.
Offcourse you need the 0409 muis as well as it contains 0804.
Only the Twitter tab is missing, so to add more tabs you need to edit this manila file with a tekst editor:
26948339_manila
It contains the tab settings
If you want and all is working fine I can upload the Manila for you later.

These are the manila packs i used. mostly from the latest TOPAZ ROM
exept doc explorer from 2.01 and footprints is from 1.66 if i remember correctly
EDIT:might be a few errors to sort out still !!!

I haven't any issue with buttons using manila from topaz 2.54

If you didn't modify something I'm 100% sure you have a issue only didn't notice it yet.
Scroll the manila tab to settings and now press the hardware homebutton.
It won't bring you to home.

All works better...but...i'm using reg keys from manila 1922

Thanks friend, I only tried to explain that the homebutton in Topaz Manila doesn't work without this mod.

the only problem i have now is manila freezes in the document tab sometimes after i have selected a document, but then sometimes it works fine, anyone have any ideas??

Thanks for sharing. I tried with only the packages you uploaded all the rest are from 2.02 Test. I seem to get lock ups everywhere. I was going to try to turn off the documents tab but it locks up when going into the menu, Settings page and more. I also found it strange but the music tab rotates but not photos tab.
Are you using some of the other support packages from the new ROM?

at the moment ive got all 1.66 packages apart from the ones in the package, document explorer is the only lock up im getting, im gonna take it out and see if sense is stable... the tab rotation is known issue. there is a fix for it around, where have u been experiencing the lock ups??

Did you modify the tabs with the Manila file I suggested?
Currently I have Topaz Manila 2.5.20113030.0 running, pretty stable with added Footprints tab.
Also the homebutton is working great with the reg you suggested.
The only issue I'm facing is the Footprints tab sometimes resets Manila.
I will investigate more this afternoon.

Just a taught, maybe it's HTCFramework you need from the T-Mob rom to fix freeze with doc tab?

It would be usefull if you tell which Manila you use or sum up the packages so we can have a look.

Tab documents work well for me

Manila freeze with this two tab

distorted RSS Hub icon in WM6.5.5 but not in WM6.5

I recently port my cooked rom to use WM6.5.5. It's all well except that I noticed that the colour of icons from RSS Hub become washed out. (see attached)
I flash back my older ROM that uses WM6.5, the icons appear to be okay. So it looks like it's a 6.5.5 fault. Anybody can confirm?

+1 I am having this problem too, since moved to 2355x from 2189x branch, and favorites & go button in pocket IE have the problem either... dunno have the idea why it happened...

I find this problem in all 235xx rom used on Leo...now i use Blackstone with same WM builds and i don't have any icon problem...
Also WM Calendar upper icons are distorced on HD2 with this builds.

Did anybody fix this problem? My icons in RSS Hub and Internet Explorer are distorted.

internet explorer can be fixed by this.
for rss, I noticed that if I run the app right after the soft reset, it'll not have problem

FInd the RSS hub resource DLLs in RSS's package and try editing those BMPs as well

I tried, the bmp looks ok. and the thing is the same package works well in the com2 branch so I think its not the issue with RSS hub.
or have you find something on your end?

I found that if I recmod the browsres.192.dll it fixes the graphics without having to do anything extra.... Weird!

I have this on RSS Hub as well.. same version but on 23653...
I fixed Internet Explorer Low Res Icons by using IE from 23115...
The "Low Res Icons" seems like a WM issue on Leo...

How'd the Recmodding go? Did it sort out the RSS Hub "Inverted Icons" for you?

[Solved] FaceBook Album does not open from HTC Album

Hello,
I am cooking ROM for Diamond2/Topaz. I am not able to view Facebook Album from within the HTC Album. What could be the cause
I can open Facebook Client and select the profile and view his/her album photos.
But not from HTC Album as below:
->> Select Photos & Video TAB - Album - Albums - Facebook Tab - Select Profile to view the Album - Select Album. (This does not preview/load photos in Album).
Here is the Pkg info that I have:
Album v3.2.20171632.00
Media Tool Kit v1.2.20161229.00
Manila People v2.5.20173126.0
Manila Photo v2.5.20163127.0
Facebook Engine v1.1.20153522.00
Social Networks Engine v1.1.20182024.00
All are from Leo stock ROM.
EDIT: More Info-
As per MSDN:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\StorageManager\FATFS]
1) "EnableCache" should be 1. Which is DEFAULT and is already set in my ROM.
2) "CacheSize" should not be used. DEFAULT is 0. Which is also good in my ROM is set to Zero.
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\StorageManager\Profiles\ FLASHDRV\FATFS]
3) "DataCacheSize" is set to 0 in ROM as that is DEFAULT so that it will be dynamic. Good in my Rom too and is zero.
So what could be causing the issue ?

Thanks mate, that works great now it is working fine and the Facebook album can be view from HTC Album.
But I am wondering which application should create this folder? Or it is created manually every time?

just have that in app.dat in your kitchen, and it will create you a folder automatically.

the latest album versions (coming from oboe device for example) simply don't support facebook inside the album exe itself because it's not used in those roms.
simply use a album version that supports facebook (from leo 3.14 for example).

It depends. If you or your ROM users use facebook, then you have to use HTC Album from Leo 3.14 or else go to Oboe Album.
Except facebook, I see the skin is different from Leo 3.14 and also it doesn't have X button.
