Hi guys,
My HTC HD2 keeps saying "Please insert an SD card before using the camera".
Obviously MMC is in, there is whole Android system.
My "About the phone" says:
Nexus One
Android version 2.2
Baseband version 15.39.50.07U_2.10.50.26
Kernel version 2.6.32.9-38151-g827fa85-dirty sb(at)sb-laptop2 #36
Build number darkstone HD2Froyo V2.1
Has anybody experienced that? I couldn't find, that somebody else would have this problem.
Thanks
SOLVED
I have re-formatted MMC several times and it's working now.
Hopefully will help somebody else

hello
ive installed few builds but in every build i have the message pop"mounted read only"
also my ebl stopped working about the same time?
anyone got solutions?
i need help!
Just to give a little return of experience.
I tried several time to have a stable Android build on my HD2. I was able to correctly install it but after few reboot, Android wasn't able to boot anymore (was blocked on the green HTC logo).
Finally I changed from a 4Gb SD Card to a 8Gb and this problem was solved.
For people having the same issue, here is my exact configuration:
SD Card : Sandisk 8Gb
Android : MDJ FroYo HD v4.1 MDJ S7.3HD
ROM Radio : 2.15.50.14
ROM build : EnergyROM 23xxx
This will be useful to a lot of people potentially, thx.
Dear XDA members,
every time i install a SD version of Android on my HD2, it will work for one or two weeks. But then it starts rebooting itself and after a couple of those spontaneous reboots I receive a ‘android core progress’ stopped working (I don’t know the precise words). Then I can choose between close and send rapport. But whatever I choose, the error keeps returning and therefore I can’t use the phone.
Most of the time I just install a new android version on the SD card and then the problem is solved for again, a week or two.
I have tried multiple versions, for example the Froyostone sense and now the MCCM DSV4.0.
Does anyone know how to solve these errors?
Phone model number: HTC HD2 T8585
Android version: 2.2
Kernel version: 2.6.32.15r8.5.3-g51e39b5 [email protected]#120
Build number: 2.10.405.2 CL226611 release keys
Software number: MCCM DS V4.0
The Radio I use is: 2.12.50
SPL version: SPL-1.66.HSPL
Have you ever let the battery die when in android? That may corrupt data.
Maybe you should format your sd card, full format btw. Use panasonic formatter.
hmmm I never let it go without power. And i already formatted the SD card. So maybe other suggestions?
hey there.
it's the first time i'm trying a android build with my winmob 6.5 hd2.
i installed the AmeriCanAndroid AOSP HD2 GB2.3.7 CM7.2 build with the correct and recommended sd card partioning/format explained in the faq (copied build to SD card etc.)
now i can boot into android the first time, using the launcher or loading 'clrcad' and 'haret' manually.
when i reboot, to see if the bulid boots up by itself, the loader pops up and says:
"clrcad or haret can't be found on your storage card error - Android"
so it goes back into winmob. if i manually load it from the sd card android loads with all my settings but in options the SD card is not found.
if i reboot its the same thing over again. so i haven't been able to boot android successfully a second time.
maybe somebody who also has this build has any idea and can help me out.
i searched the main topic of the cyanogenmod but couldn't find any post that would help me.
thanks,
Dave
