Download Unsuccessful - Vibrant General

My market hasn't been working all day. It started when I tried to install updates on apps. Every app, whether update or new install results in download unsuccessful. Occurs on Wifi or 3G. I've rebooted, cleared market data, uninstalled market updates and cleared market cache.

HELP Cannot update/uninstall/install AppBrain

Guys please help,
I was trying to update AppBrain, but then it stuck at "Installing" (Not downloading) forever.
I restarted the Market app... the same, then I restarted the phone... same thing.
I went to App Management and UNINSTALLED AppBrain, rebooted, but when I try to Install/Update it from the Market it still shows "Installing" automatically, but never finishes....
Now I can't do anything... can't install, or uninstall. All options are disabled or simply unavailable.
I need it, as it is not just some random app... Its AppBrain! My main market app...
Please, I already tried cleaining the Market app cache and rebooted several times. Nothing helped.
I never had this problem.
I'm with stock FW JFB, Rooted, LauncherPro.
Thanks,
Paulo
SOLVED!
Unninstalled all Market app updates.
Then rebooted, opened Market app and it reset itself.
The stuck app was gone!

Help! Marketplace either stuck at starting download or download bar dissapears

So, I've recently bought a new vibrant and at first I was able to download some apps after booting, after a few minutes though I can't seem to download anything anymore, the downloads start and the download notification appears on top then dissapears after a second. Hope someone can help. I've tried everything, I've cleared all the cache/data(from checked in service, gtalk, market, etc...), signed out and logged into gtalk, uninstalled market update. I also tried doing a factory reset and even reflashed the rom back to JFD from JI6 but the problem still occurs, after I either hard reset or flash it to stock it works for a few minutes, from 5-30 minutes before the problem occurs again wherein it'd either stay at starting download or the download icon will appear at the notification bar, then dissapear after 1 second. It's been driving me crazy for over a week!
Hope someone has a solution.
Thanks!
This happens to me at times, but after clearing the market apk cache I'm able to download apps properly. Try to clear it a few times before deciding to reinstall the apk. Also, speaking from experience, I dont think that flashing different roms would help too much. Every time i flashed a rom the same problem came back and i would have to do the whole "clear cache" thing over again.
hi, thanks for the help. I've already tried clearing the market cache and other apps but it still doesn't work. I've read of a new market app version 2.2.11, I tried downloading it to the phone and installing it but the phone says something like "error parsing package".

[Q] Apps not showing up in "My Apps"

Ok this has been going on a while and i'm getting tired of it. The apps that i have installed on my phone don't show up in the My Apps part of Market. It shows some of the apps i have but i believe thats only due to me reinstalling them to make them show up. The only ones that are showing up are the apps that i purchased and they say "Purchased" next to them and not "Installed" even though they are. I've tried wiping the Market cache and data and they still don't show up. I've also tried using Titanium Backups "Market Doctor" and it says it's relinked the apps but it does nothing. I thought it was due to the Squidly ROM that i had so i SBFed back to stock and it still does the same thing. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Are these apps you've installed through the market or did you install them from your sdcard?
Just clean up Market cache. You installed "Auto Update All Market Apps" (or something like that, icon is a blue box with a green arrow pointing down), right?

Already cleaned the cache, didn't work. And no, i have only a select few apps that are even set to auto update.
I think it's really odd that only the apps that i purchased are showing up in there. The free ones i've installed aren't showing up.
***Ok, after clearing my cache and data like 3 times, all my apps finally showed up.
Glad you got it figured out. These phones can be weird sometimes. After I flashed an SBF last time I needed to, I tried to wipe data in recovery, and it wouldn't let me. After about the 10th try, it finally let me do it. Not sure why.

Apps not installing or updating??

So I can't seem to get apps to install or update any longer.
Tried rebooting many times, 3G/WIFI.. the apps sit with the line moving to the left.
The only thing I've done recently was install the 3G card.. then I went to system update and applied the latest update and bam, can't install anything now.
Ideas??
I seem to have gotten it working. I cleared the cache/data from the 'Download Manager' on the app list..
Having the same problem, where exactly did you do that from. Just got this a a X-Mas present.

Market outdated issue

Hello,
I recently rooted my TPT and installed market enabler and was successfully able to change market but today when I went to download an application I got an message saying "client is outdated, market will update automatically shortly " now do I just wait or is this an actual issue because I have never had this happen to me before. I also uninstalled market enabler thinking that was the issue... but it didn't change anything. I would be grateful for any assistance thank you.
I'm pretty sure that it was just market updating. I had the same message and I don't use market enabler.
Yes it just ended up updating... I panicked for no reason in the end lol
How long should this take? I have been getting the out-of-date message for 2 hours.
Have you tried turning it off and turning it back on again.
Another option is going into settings>applications>manage applications> market>clear data.
Try settings>applications>manage applications> google framework services>clear data if that doesn't work.
Thanks gallahad2000, but no joy. Restarted several times, did the clear data you suggested, but still getting the market out-of-date msg.
