I was wondering if anyone else had this problem or if this is the actual design. On the screen part of the Epic, I have 2 bulges on the right and one on the left where the side meets the backside of the screen, like the plastic is slightly warped.
Anyone else have this?

I have a black MT4G and I've noticed the metal that surrounds the front glass isn't flush all the way around the phone.
If I slide my finger off the screen to the right side, it slides right off and it looks like the glass is flush or slightly higher than the metal.
If I slide to the left slide, I hit the metal which is sticking up a bit from the screen.
Visually it's hard to notice, but I feel it every time I swipe to different home screens.
Anyone else notice this? Is your phone flush all around or is the metal slightly raised all around?
mine is the exact same as yours...I noticed when I first got it, but im not going to take my phone and a micrometer back to the store for a replacement.
OK, so i just noticed something really weird on the screen of my Nexus S. Towards the bottom of the screen, right under those 4 touch buttons where the glass meets the housing, i see these grey stains. The stains are on the inside and i feel like it's the glue that was used to install/paste the glass. I think those grey stains on the inside are all around the glass but i can only see them on the top and bottom.
Anyone noticed something similar?
Any suggestions?

The glass is thicker at the top and bottom. I think that is what you're seeing. I just looked at mine in the light, and to me, it just looks like the edge of the glass. Just the nature of the curved glass imo.
I had a bit of glue around the edges of my screen. I just stuck some Scotch tape around the edges to pull it off.
i took my phone back to best buy. the guy there told me that this is a pretty common problem not only with nexus s but evo 4g also. he let me check about 6 devices (not exagerating) before making an exchange and i was quite surprised to see all those screens with some sort of defect around the top and the bottom. i picked the one that looked the best and went home satisfied.
I must noticed the bezel on my new GT 10.1 has a small bump on the top left edge of the bezel.
I thought it may be a scratch, but it looks lime a casting defect... Has anyone else seen odd bits on the plastic bezel?
I'm thinking if exchanging it, but won't bother if its pretty normal.
Thanks!

Feel free to take an image. But that corner and the opposite is where the to pieces joins on my tab.
Yep... mine has the same thing too. Mine is on every single corner. I doubt this is a defect, I never even noticed it until I seen your post and looked very closely.
When held in landscape mode, the 'bump' is on the left side, on the bezel surface that is flush with the bezel and directly above the speaker.
Ie I felt it as a bump becuase it was right next to the edge of the screen.
I will try and take picture..
Hi guys,
I'v been my new s8 for a few days, and i noticed that the edge of rear glass, specially on bottom side, has paint off, so i can clearly see 1 mm of dust. Other sides are ok
Have you noticed this on your unit?
Thanks
Do you have an image with this issue? I have never heard of this issue for newer models.

I can't take at the moment, but i'll try to describe better.
On the bottom side of the back panel, where the glass meets metal, there is 1mm or less of paint off. Initially i thought it was the classic gap, but trying to pass a piece of paper in, i was able to clearly view the paper throught the glass. It's just 1mm or less around the bottom side.
That happened to me on s7 edge (front top edge). The glass was aligned with the frame, but the paint didn't go all the way to the edge so I could see the glue under the glass. That's aesthetically ugly but that's all... I hate samsung's quality standards -.-
So i am the only One with this problem?
Has anyone else noticed slight ripples on the underside of their s8 glass screen uniformly along the top near the cameras and sensors.
I say ripples, but this may not be the correct terminology. Kind of like some roller lines from tempering process or screen curving??
These can only be seen under angled lighting conditions and don't show up on a photo.
Just received the s8 as a replacement for a one with really wobbly buttons and only 3 weeks old.
Don't want to send back if normal (as phone is good otherwise).
Some shop display one's seemed to have it to some degree but hard to see the top bezel properly due to lights being too bright.
It's a crease in the front glass panel. My black S8 has a pair of matching (mirror image) creases on the right-side top and bottom corners. They are curved creases in the glass that point to the corners. You can only see it under the right light and angle. It looks like a defect in the curving process. But I am happy with the phone and this doesn't bother me.
I sometimes wonder if this affected a large production batch and those are the units that Samsung sold at $425 (after promotion and rebate, and how I got mine). I cannot imagine that Samsung is unaware of it.
It doesn't look like a crease to me, it looks like either roller lines or moulding marks on the underside of the glass. Only visible under certain lighting.
Anyone else seen this?
