Bump for justice
on HyperDroid data connection works perfect
i have the same issue on Three as well..
trying to use Hastarin's 8.4 eb kernel..
i keep on seeing stuff about the APN settings but they look fine..
Managed to figure it out from a post in another part of the forum..
It's basically because the build is using rmnet and not PPP. you need to edit the following line in init.rc

This could help:
While enabling PPP in HyperDroid I realized that actually only one file needs to be replaced: init.rc.
Of course there are also other files needed for PPP, but Pongster already included them all, so I don't know of them, but you probably do .
But by having the one or the other init.rc in place one can switch between RMNET and PPP.
In these two versions of init.rc there is only one line of difference:
The RMNET version includes the line "service ril-daemon /system/bin/rild".
The PPP version includes the line "service ril-daemon /system/bin/rild -l /system/lib/libhtc_ril_wrapper.so -- -d /dev/smd0".
The init.rc is part of the init process and contains services to be set up at boot.
I don't know if it's possible to control services at runtime.

And thats works for you? You have data connection now?
Where i can find this file in CleanSense to edit?

EDIT: no luck for me, i did found a init.rc using root browser but ther is already a line from ppp version.
Maybe change it to rmnt version ?
Edited the init.rc in root folder , and no luck, no thing changed, still no data connection
yes, i did restart the android
hi
i have flashed superhd2 os on my hd2 and have tried it for a couple of days now, but nearly every day suddenly the screen won't turn on and i have to take out the battery and start it up again and then sometimes it will only boot to the green htc logo or it boots up and has completely reset all settings to manufacture. why is this happening?
some spec:
Radio: 2.15.50.14
WinMo: OzDROID ROM 2.00
Android SuperHD2_v14
Hey, i actually had the same issue... with a froyo sense version of Darkstones.... all i did was download .7 wrapper, and the latest kernel 8.5, then boot into windows, upload the kernel files to the android folder, then put the .7 wrapper on the SDCard root file, and using root file manager replaced the wrapper then did a reboot.
haven't had an issue since.
Oki. Where can i find the kernel. Have search for it on google but couldn't find it.
And one more question what is 7 wrapper
Thank you

i think i got it, i just took the kernel from this tread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=787588 and replaced it. it runs now, so now i just have to wait and see if it happens again
thank you
No it had just happened again and so i had to take out the battery and boot up again . Has it something to do with i didn't used 7 wrapper?

I have the same issue,
Vodafone branded HD2, unlocked with proper code (no freaky sh*t)
radio 2.15.50
Tried with Artemis, dutty and energy,
Several kernels from mdeejay and hastarin (R8.5 was my latest test)
same result, phone works great to close to 20 hours, then "dies" in its sleep,
i´ve attached the andlog from my latest crash, but it just looks like a normal suspend to sleep.
maybe someone is smarter then me and can get something more out of it.
Oki, Hope there is someone who can fix the issue
Now is the camera not working, after i installed the new kernel

all tried and fail with data and or wifi connecting not working
I am using the nexusHD2 build and absolutely everything worked out of the box with out any setup.
Format your sd card and install a minimal winmo rom.
i am using MDJ FroYo HD v.4.1 and it works fine for me
Did you set apn? If you just updated kernel did you update the modules?

Using biff 1.3.1 and its perfect
Gotta give us more than "all tried and failed". What WM rom and radio are you using? How did you install the Android builds and what did they do when they failed?
All recent builds should be working almost 100%, you definitely shouldn't be having data/wifi issues at this point

1) Post in the Q and A forum.
2) When you post in the right forum, detail your setup
3) Watch the answers roll in.
Have you tried the Topia Series? You can find a link in my sig. T-Mobile works out of the box.

well im using my tmo hd2 radio 2.15 hspl 3 stock 2.14 rom
for most of the roms i couldnt get a data connection when in wifi mode
other than that the robot voice boots with it and that stop the tryout progress
ive tried lots of the builds, and had all of them working with tmo, data and mms working
Here's mine, check my sig and click on thumbnail for stats.
I know I've done this before but I can't remember which one it was and my internet connection worked perfectly. I have tried using different radios and my 3G data still crashes. It'll be great if you guys can tell me where I can download these files or any other suggestions on what I can do to fix the problem.
I'm currently running Dutty ROM, MDJ FroYo HD v.4.4 and 2.15 Radio. This build works great for me and the only issue is the Internet Connection. Please advise
Thank you
Post in the right section for starters

Search for Hastarin's latest kernel and should have much fewer connection issues.
