Cookie's Home Tab - HD Mini General

Dear Friends,
Please advise me if Cookie's Home Tab is suitable for HD Mini.
I read that Cookie's Home Tab is suitable for MANILA 2.5.2013, so i have installed it.
But
The buttons were very Huge(the clock was out of the screen). Am i doing something wrong??I try to change the resolution but nothing happen.
If Cookies home tab is not suitable for HTC HD MINI, is there any other application
that changes the visuals of the phone?
Thanks for your reply,
Soc

It's not suitable with HVGA resolution. Only VGA and WVGA.

Thks for your reply.
Is there any other application which i can upload(similar to coockie home tab)
in order to mod my phoe?

Nothing for the moment.

Neither this nor the next standard release(s) of CHT will feature/support HVGA out-of-the-box. That's why I'm currently developing a seperate HVGA port of CHT with help from the team.
Therefore, please don't bother asking HVGA specific questions in the official CHT topic.

It's progressing nicely. The release will be after the release of the next CHT version. When that will be, I can't give you an estimate.

Are the first words, in the tread. Do you have a HTC P535 ?
Asus P535
Yes I Have a P535, and now install a greatbal HTC Diamond theme v2.1.
But I would like to have something similar to touch flo 2d.
I had installed a version of the cube that operated in my P535 and believed that there would be some version of TF2D.

The problem is not a matter of branding, but rather a matter of drivers. M2D looks for something in the touch.dll, which many devices don't have. The HTC devices that do support M2D have it because TouchFlo was successfully ported to these devices. However, there are still a few devices (HTC branded) that have not had the TouchFlo ported to them (Himalaya and Blue Angel). On top of that, there are no devices outside of HTC devices that have this TouchFlo ported. Hence, M2D does not work on non HTC devices...
I guess that a clear explanation can put this thread to sleep already...
@ edgarjmejia,
Next time, please read the threads related to what you are looking for...
edgar mmh how to say it to you, seems you are not very clever. so stop asking you got the answer. its NNNOOO !

I was quite clear. it's hard to find complete information on thousands of responses on a thread (could make clarifications in the first post), especially for the little time we have been here at XDA.
my respect for you and thanks for your time and clarification.

- All the versions of M2D 2.5 are for VGA or WVGA resolutions.
- I did not find any version for QVGA which is the resolution of Elfin/Elf.
- I guess some one has to either port these to QVGA or we have to wait till QVGA version is released in QVGA phone (that probably has a new WM 6.5 kernel).
- Unfortunately, the porting involved here looks to be a huge task in itself.
thanks for the explanation

Unfortunately the rom that is available at this moment doesn't run WM 6.5.3 but WM 6.5 (build 21613)
This is cruel!
Oh well... I guess that we will have to wait a little longer for it! Thanks for the info anyway. BTW Can someone tell me an alternative dialer app that is good to be used? I've been searching for a long time but I can't find anything that I like enough!

Don't you like the current dialer? If you are looking for a fix of the button-overlap problem, I don't think that this will be fixed by a port of the Mini dialer anyway. I think that this will be solved by the new lay-out of the bottom-bar (toolbar) of the Mini.

it will release an official wm6.5.x update, the q is when...
Hi Russell, thanks for your email.
I do not know where these network assistants got this information as it is not correct. The official answer is that "We are working closely with Microsoft on Windows Phone 7 Series and look forward to releasing new handsets which will use the new OS." reading between the lines, it would seem therefore that the answer would be no.
There are many reasons for this, not least Steve Ballmers announcement that "no current handsets will be upgraded", Also 7 Series is NOT an upgrade to 6.5. Microsoft is releasing it as a totally new and separate OS from the exisiting Windows Mobile versions. 6.5 will continue to be developed, even after 7 will be available, to offer two different OS versions for different needs. 6.5 will remain more business orientated, and for devices with OS skins on them (Like the HD2 which uses our Sense skin), and 7 Series for new, more media and social based handsets, which will not be skinned.
Therefore, I can only recommend that if you specifically want 7, you will need to wait for it to be available on new handsets If the HD2 meets your needs, then i would consider buying it anyway, as the 6.5.x software will continue to be developed even after 7 is released.
Best regards,
Pete W

if you do a search on m3d qvga, you will see that it was ported a long time ago the problem is missing needed hardware/drivers...the phone wont go into sleep mode best i can remember. seems to me like you could test it on your device even without it ported just to see if it would run(dont think it will correctly)...try vga sense and see what happens.

Thanks. I was fully aware of that. My point is that using that one should be able to achieve more or less the same result that we would have by porting Manila 2.1 or 2.5.

What if all 3D capabilities are removed , We already know Sense needs 3D hardware but i am sure it can be ported without 3D acceleration with static images.

Only dreaming geniuses made huge inventions in history, don't they?
But I think you won't be successful in porting it without proper 3D hardware drivers since Sense 2.1/2.5 refers to some OpenGL functions provided by the MSM72xx hardware!
But anyway, good luck! Would be really great if I could fail with my down-to-earth thoughts!
