Then how do we get a recovery on it?

You know I use to have a Behold II with T-Mobile. I would always use the custom roms from BH_Man. And there was never no recovery Nandroid or recovery with it like on the HTC Hero. You also have to use something called ODIN to install your roms. Go into a download mode and install from your PC. There was no way of installing off a SD card like we are use to from RA Recovery. Unless things have changes please correct me. Just my expierence with Samsung custom roms.

Thats because the RUU has NONE of the fixes that damageless had put in to make things work like they should. Try flashing it.

it should be an update.zip
not exe
just download his newest ROM. name it update.zip
put it on your sdcard (root location)
boot into recovery (by holding down the home and power button at the same time)
wipe/factory reset
then flash (apply: update.zip)
Download files and place on SD card:
update-nexusone-FRF50-noradio-signed.zip from Modaco.com (May 24: noradio files added - should work fine for T-Mo & AT&T!)
froyo-rooter-signed.zip from Cyanogen
Titanium Backup -> Backup all user apps
Turn off phone -> Hold Volume Down, then Press Power button
Enter Recovery
Backup/Restore -> Nand backup
Wipe if you have a Sense UI ROM (no wipe needed coming from Cyanogen)
Flash update-nexusone-FRF50-signed.zip
Reboot, you'll get Android-falling-out-of-box
It will reboot into Recovery, select Reboot again
It should boot into 2.2, yay!
You should still have root, but if you want BusyBox (or lost root somehow), Cyanogen has done it again! Go back into Recovery and flash froyo-rooter-signed.zip. Then Titanium Backup will work once again.

Hello. Please help me. my phone can not use the rom manage. I have used one once, but can not be used again. when I turn on the program, still connected 3g/wifi but nothing more happened at all. I have copied the program into the correct directory. My phone rooted. This phenomenon occurs after I Flast 2.1

Rom Manager*
You have to be rooted to use it.
You can't expect people to help you if you don't tell them the problem.
So its installed, did you flash the clockworkmod? Should be the top most option.

Maybe I understand his/her problem. Rooted, installed RM but cannot install Clockwork?
Few options here, search for the standalone update.zip with Clockwork and do it that way OR wait a few hours and try again.
The 1st choice I had to do once because RM wasn't liking my phone and the 2nd choice sometimes the server is down.
First, my phone t959 rom UVJI6 normal. Then my rom to version 2.2 T959UVJFD. I do not feel satisfied so I returned to the Odin 2.1.
My phone has a normal root and fix lag.
but then, I could not manage to use the rom again.
Sorry for my english level is limited. I'm from Vietnam

My assumption is you have OCLF, try removing it then giving it a go.
Google a clockwork update zip that is pushable with ODIN, I found one the other day. I MAY have it still but I am not sure and I honestly have no clue where I found it, wasn't xda I am about 90% sure. It is not really a solid fix but will get you to where you have CWM. Rom Manager will not recognize you have it installed but when you go to enter recovery mode it will enter into CWM.
Did you by chance also flash a custom kernal? When I tested out a few I noticed my phone did the same thing, my knowledge currently doesn't expand far enough to know if they can even be related though. I am still learning a lot myself.

Does anyone know if the Heroc has this issue with CWM? I don't recall ever running into this bug...
Exactly. I can't bump charge the phone, and since there are no roms that interest me currently or a way to do a nandroid that will capture the wimax keys I don't really see a reason to keep clockwork on it.
Please someone come out with a clockwork for our device that works, preferably with full ROM manager support

Well when it goes into the master screen.... where you wipe data, it has a name, teamwin..... anyway, I have not flashed it, but was trying to. Thing is, after I wiped, I could not figure out how to get the new rom installed. What rom are you trying to flash?
If everything is already wiped, all you need to do is install a rom for the evo shift (go have a look in the dev section) and everything should be swell again?
Are you having problems mounting your sd card onto your computer?
