I run Shehrams Rom 1.00 WWE. It's the 2.13 ROM with the 2.10 touch drivers so it's not laggy. Runs smooth and awesome... Might want to bight the bullet and get you a good micro SD card too because a lot of the lagginess with the HD2 is that class 2 card that comes with the phone. I got a class 4 and it works great, but only because I went to a bunch of stores and couldn't find a 16 class 6. Get you a 16 class 6 or higher.

what do i look for on the micro sd card to know its a 16 class 6 card?
It will have 16gb marked on it... and a 6... in a circle. And MicroSDHC. Do you want me to do the google search for you or can you try it yourself?

It will have a number in a circle... See the 2 in this image below? That means it's a class 2. They make 16's up to class 10 I think... 6 is all you need. 10's are pricey. Even a 6 is still kinda pricey. My class 4 was 30 bucks I think.

I think the 10's are coming from a company that marks them as class 10's but there is no such thing. Just another way to sucker people into buying them.

$138 was msrp when that article was posted. It's $95 at Newegg right now with free shipping, and cheaper on Amazon, but with mixed reviews. I'll stick with the $60 class 6 that I have.

Between the class of cards?
The write speed. As the classes get higher the computer can write data on the cards faster (faster file transfers). No more waiting forever to copy a movie or music onto the card.

This is ridiculously small. It's fantastic, I'm sold on getting one.
Your question was answered on the website at the bottom.

The factory says yes but we don't have such card here to test for it. If you're intending to use it for 4GB tf only, then I suggest you to wait for our in-house test confirmation first.

Just curious, does it matter at all that it doesn't say SDHC compatible? Will it slow down data transfers? I saw one similiar on mobileplanet, but didn't order because of that.
I got this one instead: http://sandisk.com/Products/Catalog(1385)-SanDisk_MobileMate_Micro_Readers.aspx
It has the same type of keychain, and is very small as well. But, it says microSD, microSDHC, and M2 compatible.
I've got a smaller one, £5 off ebay. Be careful though, they can bend and could cause damage to your MicroSD.

Yeah, I think it's the same hardware. It's extremely useful for sucking off data from pcs that you shouldn't be touching, as the device can be barely seen protruding from a USB port.

Hello, I just recieved my 16 gig memory card and was very happy to see it compatible with my phone. So I can't comment on the 32 gig but feel free to enjoy the 16 gig.
When I got my wing, the Tmobile rep said not to use anything higher than a 4gb card. He was quite dramatic when he leaned over the counter and said it.

16 gig Kingston with no changes in access time. looking forward to getting a 32 gig.
The Wing supports SDHC Cards (All SDHC Cards use the same Technology to store information)
Any Card 4GB+ is considered SDHC
Therefore, any card that is SDHC, would be supported, as long as the technology doesn't change as the sizes get bigger and bigger.
And BTW, if anyone spends the $$ on a 32GB, maybe they should be donating to our Cooks instead... haha
i use a 16gig microcenter memory card.

LMAO i couldnt stop laughing when i read this.
SD CARD LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!
rofl i lol'd too. im sure it was an oversight or something. anyway im still curious if the device can even use the whole transfer rate offered by a class six. Can anyone confirm that this phone can utilize a class 6 to its full potential?
*so i read up that wiki. according to that then there is no point in getting anything over a class two since the top speed it hits with a class 6 is .5 MB/s and the class 2 bandwidth limit is 2Mb/s*
sooooo any thoughts on this?
sandisk does have a 32gb microsd.... but it's class 2 and $200
http://sandisk.com/products/mobile-memory-products/sandisk-microsdhc
not in stock now though.... it was a bit back....
neato, but if it was in stock wouldn't it have the same performance on our phone as a class 6? From what i wrote earlier, i believe our speed is capped by a hardware limitation so 4+ class speeds wont help?.
id really like an expert to confirm this.
I would also like an experts advice on this matter... I am stuck with a 2g micro card and am looking to buy the biggest one I can stick in my phone.

Depends on how soon you want it. Also, I presume you are using a similar device to the TP... I was in a BestBuy recently and they had an 8gb microsd in-stock! The only place I was able to get a 16gb microsd(class 2), was online unfortunately. Of course, I did see a few 32GB usb sticks for under $100 and grabbed one up, several months ago...
Also, as physical proof that a 16gb card will work/be recognized:

70 euro
It is very new so the price is high. And it is one of the fastest cards that exist.
can you run a benchmark to see if the note can utilize the speed of the card ?
not bad for 70euros. but adding this to the note, will easily give us technically 80GB. nice purchase. i wonder when that will be available here in asia.
But does the Note 10.1 support UHS-I? Because if not this would be for us just a super expensive regular 20 MB/s card...
Recived this card today. Sd tools shows 12.6/18.8 w/r speed. In comparison against sandisc ultra 32Gb class 10 7.1/13.3 . I don't know if sdtools shows real digits or not.

Even a SanDisk Ultra Class 6 can give you up to 30mbps. I use a San Disk Ultra Class 10 & have never come close to hitting 30mbps speeds on anything other than DSLR. For phone or tablet, stick with class 6 or 10 if cheap. Otherwise, you are just paying for something you aren't using anyway.
BTW, The new 32Gb SanDisks are 90mbps.

How do you know this? The support is in the kernel, and IIRC any newer controller should be able to- there's hardware older than our Notes which definitely does.
I know what the different class ratings mean as far as write/read speeds go for a phone, but as a first time buyer of one, I was looking for recommendations as far as what class would best suit an S4, as I'm looking to purchase a 64 gig card where the prices can vary by a fairly large margin. Also, brand recommendations would be appreciated as well with anyone with real knowledge on the matter! Thanks!

As mentioned, "class 10", but be very careful there is a huge problem with cards that are being sold as class 10 cards that don't preform nearly to the specs that a class 10 card should. This is a problem that all card manufacturers are facing. It is due to many reasons, counterfeit cards, mismarked cards, substandard production, re-marked cards, etc... Even cards with packaging that looks legit, so, good luck.

I would hope so, but with all of the problems I wouldn't count on it. I've bought many miro-SD cards in the past several months. I've bought Sandisk 32 GIG class 10 cards (or so they were represented) from Radio Shack, Amazon, and Best Buys. None of them benchmarked as class 10 when it came to Write speeds. They were all between 6 and 8 times write speed. I also bought a PNY 32 GIG class 10 card. It benchmarked at over 10X write speed and worked very well, however, it lasted about 2 weeks and crapped out. I've used Amazon basics and Samsung cards before, but they were 16 GIG cards and seemed to work well (I didn't benchmark them). If you do searches on Google about the issue or look at reviews for cards available on Amazon you can see how big of an issue it is.
When companies say like "up to 64GB", is that simply because that's the max that's available right now or is it a physical limit? When 128GB microSD cards come out, wouldn't they be compatible too since they'll still be SDXC?

Yes, that is why they say that. I can say that having been amongst the first to purchase 4, 8, 16, 32 and 64GB cards at times when manufacturers said they did not work - they all did.
