At&t shut down streaks

AT&T have shut down all the USA BETA Streaks i have just been reading,
It looks like it was not Dell but at&t because a dell spokesperson said the people who got a beta knew it would be shutting down but it should reactivate once at&t starts to sell them once they are released and it was at&t who shut them down not us.
I feel sorry for those that got a Beta of ebay i bet they did not know it would be shuting down and at&t has not said if they will reactivate them only dell has so will they reactivate, looks like they will have to use rebel Sim for now

i've been using my again since tuesday

I've been using my Austin Congress Avenue Mile beta unit for almost 48 hours as of this posting.
I got the warning text message initially when I powered on, but seeing how some people have had luck getting a Captivate as a concession after being locked out, I figured I had nothing to lose.
I've been using data, voice, and text with no issues at all.

Haha true, I do find good deals on craigslist though. All other beta steaks on craigslist go for $500 - $800 even though they are blocked from att.

Well after reading some post yesterday i talked my wife into putting her sim back into the streak and this morning she was locked out again, and they told her to call Dell, so that is what she is doing now.
she was not even on it for more than 12 hrs before getting kicked

I got nuked this morning. Guess I have a WiFi tablet at least.

So was your wife able to get AT&T to turn it back on/unblock it after she called them??? Just curious, I have a chance to buy a beta unit for cheap, but If it won't work with the data, I'm gonna pass...

Off topic, but I'm from Canada so a beta unit would work here on Rogers right?

Same here

So I talked to my buddy who is on the dell project and he said they are still working with AT&T to get the beta units unblocked. At least the free captivate was a decent concession from ATT even if the block was a crap move to make.
I've just been using my Dell on wifi at the house in the meantime.

Well everyone im getting rid of the evo and going tbolt, so the evo is fs. It is in perfect condition ajd everything works. Has no scratches or dings as it has always had a steinheil clear body shield on it plus a hard protective case around it. No cracks on volume or power rockers. It comes with the clear steinheil clear body case wich is already on it, silver aluminum hardened body shell/case, brand new never used sprint airwave, 8gig standerd mem card, and home charger. Location is bayonne nj...as far as shipping info...i will usps standard ground shipping. Shipping is not included in the price and insurance will be extra. Whatever the shipping price will be i will not and never do add anything extra onto it. If its $10.63 thats what i charge for shipping. Yes it will extend your service by using your internet connection.

Just added videos showing the phones condition and full functionality.

You need to do this in ebay or craigslist, soliciting is against forum rules.
Edit, plus you won't be able to sell that here, we all have evos, and an airwave is registered to an account. Plus that isn't THAT good of a deal for a used phone and case.

You cant register the airwave to your account when you call sprint? Why wont it be able to sell here...maybe someone here broke theres and wants another one, and it is a phone forum and i am offering a phone fs. A great deal isnt what im offering. Im offering a fair deal for both parties considering its condition and what comes with it. This is what they go for on ebay and i have scene another one with a case for a similiar price without the airwave. Its never been opened and i dont have an account with sprint anymore...so again why cant it be registered to another person if they called? And by the way its two cases sorta not one Steinheil body clear protector $25 and Manaco aluminum case $25 .....thanks though. Betcha if i was offering a GREAT deal on this your last concern would be about forum rules. Youd be callin dibs.

Guess it depends to some extent, for example phones 4 u have a fairly low price (the lowest I've seen for the HTC One including VAT and excluding special offers*) but others offer a slightly higher price but with free extras which might entice you. So what are you looking for?
* As in Very.co.uk, Asda etc offer discounts for signing up or taking their credit schemes.

For international orders Handtec offers the best price. I have a pre-order with them

You didn't specify with or without contract. I got mine on with dialaphone.co.uk on a very good deal. Also they had stock so ordered on the
18th and had my phone by the 20th.
Excellent phone btw, best I have ever used.

phones like this when they come out usually run for around 500 usd for those who want it without contract. usually if we're lucky some lucky guy on craigslist just wants to get rid of it because he doesn't like it or something and sells for like 300

AFAIK, best buy will not get them on the 3rd, it can take 3-5 days for them to receive their drop shipment from the supply warehouse. This was my experience when I was looking into getting the tab s on the day they were supposed to be released. It may not be the case with every item at best buy though.

Price was 199 all day and I just looked now and it jumped to 249 GRRRRR!!!!!

I simply does not make sense for me to purchase a phone at full retail through the GPS or Motorola, when I have no intentions of leaving Sprint. If I know where I'm going to be for the next two years, why spend more money? I'm not saying that other people are wrong to buy the phone outright, but why put down the rest of us for doing something that works for us?
