Back to Original Samsung Vibrant 2.1 Firmware? - Vibrant General

I now know not to mess with these types of phones(I will not go as far as the Rooting and lag fix, nothing pass that...). How would I go about installing the original firmware?

Not trying to be a Jerk, but Reading goes a long way..

Thanks, sorry for wasting your time, I might try it again some other time though, it's not that it doesn't work, it's just I am too stupid to get it to work. Thanks for your help, really appreciate it.
EDIT: I cannot really do it, it either hangs on file analysis or just says FAILED
EDIT 2: Thank you guys now I think I learned my lesson!

Keep it open. Restart the phone, then go to download mode again. From that same ODIN window, flash it one more time. It will work.

[Q] Failed to boot 0X1000

Hi everybody, this what happened:
I tried to flash my atrix with Atrix 1.26 Retail SBF through RSDLite.
After that it shut down and when i try to turn it on it says :"Failed to boot 0X1000" then it shuts down again. It doesn't even give me any option.
For the record, my phone was up to date (i got that wifi only system update by att). Also, this phone is unlocked and I have no warranty with any carrier.
I hope I didn't brick it.
Please give me simple solutions if there is any. Your help will b very much appreciated.
Thank you so much.
i'll let others break down the news to you..
Sorry bud, but I believe you now have a nice set of glass upon to look at.

Can't believe people are still doing this with all the warnings in the forums.
You tried to SBF back to 4.1.26 (Froyo) on a bootloader unlocked phone. You now have a very expensive reflective beer coaster!

This error also comes up with soft bricks which you can fix as you gave options to choose from and can recover. This guy has no options.

People are being helpful...by telling you sorry. If you need it for work, you'll probably just need to go buy a new phone ASAP. Like others have said, there are plenty of warnings and instructions on what/what not to do on your phone. Unfortunately, you missed those. Hope you can find another phone for cheap...
You have a hard brick, never try to downgrade. Nottach was able to fix his because he got a brick by upgrading, and he was lucky enough to figure it out. Downgrading on the other hand ruins your device, every time

We are helping you, by telling you that there's nothing that you can do. Your phone is hard bricked. There is absolutely no way to recover from a hard brick, period. You need to replace the phone. That is the reality, and there is no getting around it.
I was running CM9 on my Atrix when my digitizer went bad and I got a dead spot. I submitted it for warranty and before I sent it I tried to put it back to normal. I did something wrong I guess and ended up with a different boot error (didn't even give me an error code the screen was black unless I plugged it in I just got the NV flash thing). Anyways, I sent it in and the same phone came back completely working with a fixed screen. I think when they get it they hook it up with a factory cable and flash it back to stock with the SBK, which we don't even have access too. Just send it in for warranty saying it has software problems, and I can almost guarantee you it will come back working.

Possible he does with motorola. OP there is a tool on motorola website to see if its under warranty. Maybe give that a shot.
Bro do some reseatch that error message is a soft brick I believe I ran into a similar issue when I first roote it last year
Just thought I would weigh in that I received this same error code after an attempted SBF flash of zomgunlock-lite.sbf, and thought all hope was lost, but then I found this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=27158667&postcount=153
The instructions there helped me un-brick my phone, and I'm a happy camper once again

If you can reach the AT&T icon, you should be able to flash the stock firmware. Also for the love of all that is good, read carefully before messing with your phone.

If it still does not boot then try booting into recovery and factory reset then run the linked odin instructions again..

Seconded - I would also suggest that once you get this fixed, be extremely careful before modifying anything else on your phone. Read up a bit, perhaps wait until we have an unlocked bootloader near the end of this month, that should give you some time to familiarize yourself with the risks and procedures for flashing roms and recovering from a bad one.

All the more reason to take your time. You said you just got your phone yesterday, if you're at all concerned with the risk of turning your $600 phone into a paperweight, you should study first, ask questions before you try something risky, and only follow a guide once you feel 100% comfortable doing so. It is very possible to brick these phones to the point that they're not easily fixed.

While I probably have more patience than most who have been here, but no one here is going to hold your hand. I've reiterated 2 -3 times now how important it is to read carefully, which obviously you are not doing. I provided you with a complete guide in the link I sent you. You have the resources, you're just not looking.
Quoted directly from the guide I gave you:
5. Hold Volume Down + Home + Power until your device enters Download(Odin) Mode, then press volume up.

Here's a thread with more download options too.
I had two phones that had issues and took me some real patience to get the download (took a very long time!) then to got through what it sounds like you are.
I got patient, pulled the batteries and let them sit while I made lunch and ate. Put batteries back in and started process again. Then when the samsung logo just 'hung' I said 'F it' and just waited. Eventually moved on to Yellow screen and hung there, but I just walked away and came back a pretty long while - for this A type, and it was at lock screen!

[Q] cant unbirck help please

so my friend download an app and didn't read anything about it before he installed the app. The app was suppose to replace the home launcher but he was suppose to install another app before he installed it but he didn't. I have tried Odin, Kies, and Heimdall with no luck. I have tried them on different computers and with different cables. His phone is a SGH-I337, yes it is rooted but only for one app that was installed that doesn't affect anything. But now it only go to the download screen with the android man even when booted up normally it only fails the [auth] on Odin and it wouldn't even connect to Kies. Any help would be GREAT, he is only giving me 2 day to try and fix it for him then he is going to buy a new phone. Thanks in advance EVEN IF ITS JUST GUESS I'll still give it a try.
