[Q] My board as an Android App?

Hello there,
i'm the owner of a small board with just onenor two thousand active users and they always try to force me to "invent" an application for their mobile phones to access my forum. Since i have an Android phone, most of my users have Android and Android is easier to publish and create, i decided to look for an App for my forum for Android devices!
I don't know much about programming and coding, so i googled for some kind of a building tool, but didn't find anything. I want to make my forum accessable from Android devices! The tool, if something like that exists, should not end up in a final 100% perfect version of my board.
I'm happy about every single answer you guys are able to give!
Best regards
Poly
Research tapatalk.
Already heard about tapatalk, but doesn't the user download the tapatalk app to access my forum? I would appreciate an app which shows my board icon and name...
What about Google Appinventor? Is it easy to work myself into?
Btw i don't want to pay for this project, since my members also won't pay for the app!
Tapatalk can be a dedicated single forum app. For example look at the XDA forum app. That's based on the tapatalk framework. Its definitely the way to go.

I know, but on the Tapatalk Website a single app for my forum costs for a lot of money for android as well as for iOS.

Developing a product search app for online store.

Hi guys,
I am starting to develop an app to be used to search for a product on an online store. An similar style/type of app to the eBay apps etc where products can be found under categories and using search filters.
The website for this store already works in this way and has a basic mobile site with all of these features, the latter of which is not aesthetically pleasing in any way, which is my motivation for creating this app.
Just to clear things up - although i am relatively new to app development, this is not my first app, and I am in no way new to android. I am not asking for someone to 'ned hlp pls c0de ths i noob' so i can call it my own without giving credit. I purely want your opinion on the best way to go about this and any other advice you may give.
I want the app to have the same search features as the mobile site, and to parse the results into a much nicer looking interface, including the images and specifications of the product. This is the first time i have needed features like this in an app and am not sure how to go about it, any help would be greatly appreciated.
What do you guys think? Have any of you developed a similar app?

Looking to make a simple first app - need some guidance

Hi all,
Was looking for some guidance. I want to make a very simple app. Your traditional wallpaper app - I know there are already a ton out there, but I want to experiment. Basically have the user browse by category, then download a wallpaper. For someone who has never made an app, what is a good way to go about it? Would you recommend starting from scratch or using one of those free app websites? I know a little bit of Java, not nearly enough to make an app, but I wouldn't mind learning (lotta free time ATM). Is this something that can easily be made with a free app website? I've looked into those, but am not fully sure what their capabilities are. Any advice would be appreciated!
Apologies if I posted this in the wrong forum!
I'd start by installing Android Studio. Then I would dissect what your attempting to do here in goals and separate the coding tasks. Then I would glean what I could from the reference.
Start with simple apps

edit/add something to FISHFINDER app

Hi at all, that's my first post but i'm reading xda forum since i went to put android in my HTC TOUCH DIAMOND...
So here is my problem :
I'm using 2 app for fishing :
- Sonarphone (free on playstore) who get a wifi device to watch what's happing on water
- Deeper (free too) who get a bluetooth device (low frequency range ) to watch what's happening on water
Then,my idea is to use my wifi device on Depper app to use only one app but i have no wifi MENU on deeper app and i need to add this one on Deeper app who can read my sonarphone device
Do you think is that posible ?
I have already those .apk(sonarphone,Deeper),android studio and eclipse but i don't know where to start to do this, because i don't understood anymore how deeper reading on is device to convert signal on a "picture".
I'm not a pro dev but can't learn really fast
and I'm sure XDA forum got pro dev guys so can someone help me ?
Thanks a lot guys.
