Slow audio in Flash - Droid Incredible General

Using the most recent leaked 2.2, and going to m.flash.com and playing one of those sites, CNET TV for example, the video plays fine, but the audio lags behind and seems to be playing at 1/4 speed.
Anyone see this or know of a solution?

Yeah I had that issue I switched back to a custom Rom to resolve it. Once there is a few I might try the ota again

Engadget videos start but then freeze

Engadget videos on my Incredible and my friends Evo, both stock seem to play fine for a bit and then the audio continues but the video freezes. I'm using the latest version of flash and I don't have this problem with any other sites that I've come across. Any ideas what can be done to fix this?

Audio skipping from web pages

Ok I searched and didn't find any answers (maybe there isn't one) anyhow, when viewing web pages with flash the video plays fine but the audio skips and is impossible to understand. Is there a fix for this?
Conditions:
3g or wifi makes no difference
No other apps running except adw launcher.
Tasks killed
Rooted and running Bonsai 1.4.1
Dolphin browser or stock makes no difference
Youtube works fine.
Seems to be just flash videos on web pages.

I have this issue if using Bluetooth headphones. YouTube app works great with BT, but Flash video is a no go. It took me a while to nail it down.

Choppy video playback

Does anyone get choppy video playback on some videos? I have noticed it when streaming some videos from youtube and other websites.
No cant say i have, on the contrary video playback has been excellent
Are you using the stock browser or something else?

What rom are you using? I had this problem but its because the rom set the read ahead speed too large. Use sd booster from market if you're rooted and check what read speed is. It should be 128kb.

I'm using Villain rom 2.1 but I have noticed the problem standard firmware to. It does it on stock browser and tried a few other browsers to.
Read speed is 128kb.
Any particular videos?

wfi, 3g or both? does it get better if you reduce the size to 360p or are you view through the youtube app, if so try viewing though the desktop version to see if there is any difference, like other say it could be your ROM so search on the ROM thread for known issues.
I've seen it happen too on some flash video's site. I think it's all about the same site here . Nasty
videos up til 720p work fine, 1080p doesn't work at all for me

What rom you using ? and is your SGS2 with exynos and not tegra ?
I noticed it on this video:

Watch with the youtube app on HIGH QUALITY its a bit choppy like its struggling to buffer. You notice it more when you skip through a few mins.

Video Playback Issues

Videos played by my nexus have an odd choppy feel. Every five seconds or so, the player pauses for a very noticeable moment, then continues. Is anyone else experiencing this?

No problems regarding smoothness.
The only problem I have is that nothing seems to have audio (using mxPlayer)

Now I seem to have problems with games. Is this a hardware issue or OS related?

No. My nexus runs very well. Are you on 4.1.1

Yes.
Is it a background app causing it? I read about a few phones having this issue in the past.

I'm on 4.1.1, not rooted and I've noticed the same problem. When playing a video or certain games every 5 seconds or so there is a slight pause. I've tried different video players and still the same issue.

Having the same issues but it seems to happen more with games especially tegra 3 games like a riptide. the funny thing is is I swear I remember playing riptide and It had no lag. I can't remember whether it was prior to the 4.11 update.
Same here! I tried watching the Transformer movie we got for free and it kept freezing up! This is irritating, I'm going to try a factory reset. I'm exchanging this thing any way cause the headphone jack is defective.
From my long awaited and totally worth it EVO LTE!
Same issue here after upgrading to 4.1.1. Anyone here having this issue on a custom ROM? If not then I'm flashing a ROM ASAP.

Try other video players (MX Player, BSPlayer)
Was this apparent before 4.1.1? I just got my 7 yesterday and updated right away and do notice the stutter w/ my high profile 720p vids. On my Prime stuttering was fixed with over clocking and running an interactive governer.
Edit: this is for 720p high profile movies stored on the device, happening w/ dice player and MX player. Don't use stock since it doesn't support ac3 audio.
stock n7 with latest ota updates, unlocked and rooted. No problem playing any game and video, either stream from play store (transformer movie) or stream my my home network.

It doesn't matter if it's on the device or not, it happens when I stream the transformer movie and/or any YouTube video. I'm about to return this back to Google if I don't find a solution soon. Going to try a data factory reset and see if that helps.

Yeah looks like its happening for me on YouTube as well.
I just put a video on my device from my PC and it played fine. But if I stream anything it plays like crap

Did some more testing. Tried the stock player and no stutter but no sound due to no ac3 support. I have another 7 coming in on Monday and will test that one leaving it as is (before 4.1.1 update)
I just got off the phone with Google and they said it's probably a issue with my router streaming media on the device. I'm going to test another WiFi connection sometime soon and see if the issue persist or not.

I'm having problems with this, I can't watch a single video on this device without the lag. I've tried the youtube app, Netflix, dice player and a few other video apps and everyone of those lag.

[Q] Audio & video out of sync

Hi guys, I have small but annoying issue with my Nexus 10:
When watching a video (in any app, including youtube) the audio and the video are slightly out of sync. This is noticeable even for the smallest file and gets a lot worse at 2gb+ movies. I understand the tablet has to cope with this huge resolution but even with 100mb videos? I noticed this on 4.4.2 but it's the same on 4.4.4.
Now, I wonder could somebody recommend a ROM where this issue is not present? I heard SlimKat was pretty good for example but I dont know how it handles video playback.
Thanks in advance

Anyone? I also wonder if custom kernel would help
Sent from my HTC One using XDA Free mobile app
I never had this issue. You could try to use a custom kernel. If that doesnt work I suggest you try out f2fs.

Hmm strange that mine would be different from any other out there..anyways i'll try, thanks for the tips!

That is strange. Have you downloaded a video and tried watching it directly from your N10? This would maybe rule out a slim chance of an internet or wifi issue. I only say this because I had a weird issue with my wifi that was causing slow and strange results including audio/video out of sync.
What are you currently running - i.e. kernel and ROM?

Ah yes, also for downloaded files. And it gets worse with larger files.
I'm running stock 4.4.2. Maybe Lollipop will fix it..Btw I've found Dice Player in the meantime, which has audio offset functionality - this was the quickest fix for now

Hi,
When playing some super high quality videos I face this problem too. But on KitKat update and using MX Player SW decoder I can play any file without problems. I suggest you to try it!
