Which hero rom can i use on my 32b , and is the hero rom faster then the magic roms ??
You can try 'KiNgxKxlicK Hero2G1' but for me it didn't work a 100 percent.
The problem for me on that ROM was that the HTC Sense kept reloading certain times. Now I use a Hero ROM and replaced the kernel and more stuff. Too much work for you nonetheless.
Ive heard most HERO ROMS are slow..i use Cyanogen ROMS which are great for daily use...Just flash a Sense theme on your ROM to give it that Sense feel..except u wont have all the Sence widgets.

I have bought htc mytouch 3g for my wife to replace her iphone. The phone is unlocked. just two questions:
1. if i flash it with a custom rom from this forum. will my phone become locked again.
2. Which is considered to be most stable rom around here which adds sense UI to mytouch.
I am a noob, i searched but didn't understand any of the technical jargon.
Thanks
If your phone is unlocked, it will not be locked if you are flashing a ROM
and a stable room, many of those here.
Do you have 32A or B version?
What room will you or your wife have? sense, Eclair, donut.?
Bidra med en bedre oversettelse
room = ROM
sorry
mytouch 3G = 32B
there is no Sense UI ROM for mytouch 3G that isnt laggy as hell unfortunatly. your best bet is CyanogenMod latest version.
There is Sense UI-ROM:s which you can flash and have as daily use, for sure. But I'd suggest Dwang as ROM and Darkstar as theme. Unbeatable!
NOOOO there really is no need to change ROM for your wife. I believe that stock ROM will do everything she requires. I promise you you will face a lot of problems and issues trying to flash custom ROM. Just leave it as it is.
Okay
My phone has 32B motherboard meaning less ram.
So as i understand sense UI is not an option for me. Can somebody tell me if android 1.6 or android 2.0 have been officially released for t-mobile mytouch. If yes, where can i get a copy of this. If not, can you provide me a link to what you consider to be the bestest custom rom for t-mobile mytouch 3g.
Hello,
I just rooted my htc magic to mod 5.0.7. eclair.
Now i have a desire using the same firmare but it's looking completle different.
am i missing someting or is this normal.
i would like to have the same clock/weather, calender, email widget as the desire.
is this even possible?
after searching i now know i'm missing sense.
So the next question. Can please someone tell me what firmware i should take? I would like to have sense working on a 32b magic.
Ther are a lot off firmwares but all are missing some parts. Is there a firmware that is just stable?
You need to root it and install a Sense ROM, which you will find in the G1 development section. However the ROMs aren't really fast enough for it to be worth it
The most stable sense ROM is cursordroid running on 1.5. If you want a 2.1 sense, I am not sure what I can offer you. As to why CM Rom is different from the Rom of HTC, CM is AOSP aka Open-Sourced and HTC Sense is Closed Sourced. So technically you can't load closed sourced progs into open-sourced.
Hi all.
I have a 32A htc magic.
I have installed on this phone android 1.6 using ROM RAv 1.6.3.
Now I want to know if there is a stable ROM with android 2.2 available for this device.
Here is information about my device:
Base bandle:
62.52S.20.18U_3.22.20.17
kernel version
2.6.29-RAv1.6.2 [email protected] )
build number
DRC83
Thanks all for collaboration.

hey I just replied in another thread in this forum and it seems my answer might help you. so, copy and paste
“are these all roms for the 32b magic? I've got the 32a version which has 288mb ram (32b has 192mb right?). and what's the ram with the new magics, are there also two versions with different ram?
I think this fact should be the first to mention in this thread, doesn't make much sense comparing rom speeds and stability if we're all running magic versions with varying ram.
that said, I've always been a htc sense fanboy and was running cursor sense (1.5 cupcake), the fastest and most stable sense rom out there (especially with the overclocked kernel and the cpu running at 710mhz).
lately I wanted to switch to android 2.1 or 2.2 and been trying lots of roms. capylegend, capyslide, rcmix, smoki (all 2.1 sense roms). had troubles with most of them, they get unresponsive at times, absolutely no comparison with the cursor sense rom. so I started trying cyanogen roms and now I'm running the cm6 minimou version with an overclocked cpu (710mhz) and it really runs great.
my opinion: if you're looking for a 2.1 or 2.2 rom then the cyanogen roms are better than the sense roms (so far. this might change if cursor sense will be released with 2.1, hehe).”

Hi everyone,
I'm using Dorimanx-Rom-2.9.4-Nightly-245-HIGH-END-MAG
which is really nice, smoooooth and fast, but I would like to install any htc sense on it 3.0 or 2.0, I tried to install coredroid roms and all others roms come by default with htc sense but the device become really slow even using ext4 1gb and swap and everything, I guess because it's EU version not T-Mobile, so please tell me if I can install only the sense on this rom, and how?
thank you so much in advanced
Or is there any reallllly fast roms with sense for the EU HD2, I tried many roms, I even damaged my two (16GB) sd cards, just trying to find the faster rom , tried to build one, but nothing, I always stuck with slow roms
HTC Sense is for Sense ROMS only.
You cannot install it on any other ROM.
thank you so much mate for replay, another question can I add it when I'm building a rom? like should I use different Kernal or what should I do to have it
In your opinion, what's the best firmware with HTC Sense for HD2 that will work smothly on my device? It may be any version of HTC Sense, I just want no lags and freezes.
I have magdlr already installed, so it would be best that it will be a SD/Magdlr firmware,
Thanks.

The simple answer is just don't install a Sense ROM if you really want performance. It just slows everything down, even on devices which ship with Sense. The only smooth Sense ROM is a Froyo/Sense ROM but seeing as you want a 2.3 ROM, this quite obviously doesn't meet requirements. The next smoothest would be a GB/Sense 2.1 ROM, if you can find one.
i used to use Energy Sense rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=733649
It's very fast. Iwas surprised cause i didn't expect,it's realy faster than a lot of htc android phones with native Sense..
