First of this is the wrong section. Development is for development (custom roms, kernels, etc). This belongs in general/Q&A.
Now i will actually attempt to help you. (Compared to the just flame by many others).
Is sounds like your modem is messed up. you can check if it says baseband unknown in about phone. However, odin 1 click stock 2.1 should have fixed any software problem. So therefore I don't really know what to do, i don't think it would hurt to go ahead and flash 2.2 and see if it helps.

Need Help to Fix PA

Hey friends I am porting PA for our device and I am facing a problem......when the rom goes to bootanimation it crashes due to libsurfaceflinger.........My guess is I am missing something in my hardware folder.....anyways the full log is attached below....Plz helphttps://drive.google.com/open?id=0B-OMnNCfmz0ic3V6M0xfdVF3YzA

I'm trying to port it too. Will let you know if I face the same issue.

Well I understand you completely.....I just thought that it was development related and the other one was demand related....Well no problems if u want to remove it u can.....I will also post in that thread:good:
