For many of us, applications such as google earth are not viewable in the marketplace [still not sure why after so long!!!!!]. Could anyone post up the latest google earth apk?

I can safely say that after scanning the QR, it still says no google earth in the marketplace. Google really needs to sort this!

I also recomment everybody updating to the latest google earth version as it will allow you to install it to SD (finally!) on 2.2 off course.

are you on 2.2 or 2.1?
2.1 - still waiting for Tmob to pull the trigger - have tried the .apk above and the previous ver 1.0 of earth & neither will install. It's the only apk i've come across that won't install, car dock, 3d gallery etc all worked fine.

Looks like it wont work on 2.1 at all..... Just seems ridiculous anyway that the app is only available to some regions and others have to dload the apk from a 3rd party
Again I ask, how do we contact google to ask them this? I can't find a link anywhere....

Sure they will hear you... no way they can listen, no way to 'contact' them, perhaps showing up on their building and having a rant and may be, may be, they will not laugh at you... it useless relax and keep searching

poor in my view if there is noway to contact the company who's operating system you use and who's marketplace you use.
i almost... like i facepalmed over this whole thread.. it doesn't show up in the marketplace on your device because YOUR DEVICE (or ROM) 'doesn't support' it.
Hey guys,I'm running a rooted CDMA HTC Hero200 running Android 2.3.4 from CyanogenMod. I'm about to try install the new GoogleEarth.apk today and I'll let you know how it goes. I don't know about you guys but I google searched it. I also found a GoogleEarthv1.2.1.apk,has anybody else found this at all and would that version be any newer than the 1.1.1? Just some thought as I'm sitting here wondering. Well...I'll let you guys know how it goes.
OK,I answered my own question. The Google Earth does not show up in android market on the CDMA Hero200. The version 1.2.1 is the newest version and I installed it on my phone and it will not run and just FC. another user brought up the fact it's because the Hero runs on an Arm6 processor. Anyways...just thought I would give my .002 on the subject. Hopefully one day we will have a good Google Earth app that works for more devices(wouldn't that be nice,leave it to Google!) Good luck everyone in your journey with Google Earth on your Desires!

Some roms have this app but I know it comes custom on the t-mobile touch pro 2 but I am looking for that specific cab... I know there are apps like palringo and others that do this plus more but I really like that one.

Thanks to ai6908 I was able to get google talk installed on my phone. I am using t-mobile tp2 (on tmo network) and running the CELL PRO Series of roms (currently v9.)
There are some people saying that it still isn't working for them. A few of us have found that it only works if you install it in the internal memory.
SO WE CAN NARROW DOWN THE PROBLEM WEATHER IT WORKS FOR YOU OR NOT PLEASE SPECIFY THIS INFORMATION:
What Windows mobile version you have (6.1, 6.5, 6.5.3)
Whos rom you are using (Nrg's, Sergio76, deepshining, other...)

ya i put the cab in my phone but no go .says may not be signed with a trusted certificate or missing components? it has google talk in it! that's the only one i want .i have tryed 3 times and same thing ? not sure whats going on. also i try to delete it off the sd card when it made the file but it said i didn't have permission to? sorry new to windows mobile .

yep that's what i got to.plus i went to take uninstall it off sd card and don't show up in remove programs. plus i went into active sink on my pc and went to add and remove it but it don't show up there either. weird i can't get it off here .
I pulled it from the t-mo rom posted here. It was in cab form and everything. Sorry if it's giving anyone problems, I didn't mess with it, that's just how it came. Very odd.
On my phone, it put two 'instant messaging' folders, one worked, and the other didn't. Go figure.

Maybe its the fact that the t-mobile stock rom is winmo 6.1 and I am running version 6.5. Are you running 6.1 or 6.5? Also what rom are you using?

That cab is screwed up...I will post the one from Leo that I made, it seems to work decent.

You serious! It worked just fine for me.....Anyhow, you are impossible to please man!
It looks kind of nice, but Palringo is heaps better, run's multi client, off line messeging. archives messages and has notifications as well.
go straight to their web site to sign up and download the latest version, I highly recommend it.

EDIT: I have since installed this on the modco 2.2 rom and it works except to remove an app you have to press and hold on it's listing

I've tried the latest market also(the one at first post), and i'm now back to latest official market:
Go to Applications ---> Manage applications --> Market --> Uninstall Updates
Now you're back on first market(without auto-update), time to get back to the latest one. Open this market and browse a little bit.
After that, open a taskkiller(don't know if inbuild taskmanager works, I guess it does) and go to settings. Enable 'Show system processes', and go back to the taskkiller. Then Kill the apps 'market' and 'market updater'. Open the market again, and you've got the market with tabs and auto-update.

Maybe a little note: When browsing on the old market(without tabs), the sync logo appeared in notification bar. I think that meant he was updating the market again.

err i tried to intergrate this into the rom using titanium and now it opens fine but force closes if i click on anything its over written the old market so i cant uninstall update as mentioned above. D'oh! anyone got the older market apk??

1. as of today june 12, search (via google, not market) appbrain 6.02 (or latest version) and download it
2. register (it seems to use for default your google account)
3. look for apps and enjoy (it redirects you to android market but this time wotks)

Why the hell are some countries or regions are blocked from downloading even the free applications. Is there a concept of developed and 3rd world countries in stupid Android Market (which even doesn't allow to update flash player!!!).

First off, youre going to need to use that root file explorer to ho and uninstall/delete the Google News & Weather widget. It should be found in /ststem/app/. Then youll need to reboot. Now download and install the Google News & Weather app. After this, it should be working. Oh, btw, heres the apk http://goo.gl/Iivbtc

I had no issue with SlimRom except it said it wasn't available in my country(The US, weird right?). I just downloaded the .apk and installed it.

update it via the second link provided at the bottom of the page. odd thing, same as on the n4. but i opened the online playcstore via aosp browser, and updated my n5 and installed on my n4 that way.
it says its compatible with all my devices, 3 nexus and a sgs4. none of them see it except the sgs4. but installed it on all of them

I got the joyui 12 update on my phone today. When I connected to the play store after the update, I got the error df-dferh-01. And then I removed the play store by looking at the miui 12 update videos. I reinstalled this time it stays like the picture below and it won't open. Anyone who solved this problem or could help? Now every time i try to start the Play Store error "DF-DFERH-01" appears.
reboot, uninstall, emptying cache from Play Services and Play Store didn't work.
Because it's such big update, factory reset should fix all your problems. Same like when we got update to JoyUi 11.

I did a factory reset in the same way. It works now but I lost a lot of data

i dunno also about the content of the updates but the update was about 600mb or so if i recall ... and after i update the google play went crazy

Yes, the official update is generally good, but after the update, security and permission was too much. Also, the security app installed in itself. It is very annoying, even in WhatsApp, it gives a notification that it wants to access contact information every 20 minutes. I think I manage to figure out a solution
Im also using a blackshark and I might have found a way to fix this solution. U will need to go to settings>perfromance manager and than see all the google? Swipe left on the task of everything that is google and delete like end task on task manager. And then open google it should be fixed. Please tell me if it works for you guys.
Edit: sorry but forgot to tell you guys that after the task ending, open google they will ask you to sign in click on the continue and than they should say google play services need to be updated, click yes and you should be able to launch google play after task ending l. Update the google play services and go to google and sign in again and your phone should be good to go.
Can anyone give a little bit more information on how did you get updates before rest of us, what region are you all, are you participating in beta program or what. Is it global or Chinese version etc...?

I tried but right now I can't tell if this error happens because I reset the phone. I am not getting errors after reinstalling. Sorry

Google play service and play store permission after factory reset the phone. Maybe it will work

Through my experience, I think that how this works is that when ever you turn on your phone of reboot the phone, the google play services run before the os Starts and continue with the service without stopping so when the phone updates the google play services get some error so It will need to be re launched but because It boots before the os and the service doesnt refresh but continue with the old google play services. So you will need to manually relaunch the app so that google play services can match the os and run properly. It is like when something is running and suddenly something change in the dll or smt the app will crash but when it crashes it just keeps on launching the crash when phone reboots so will need a manual relaunch to start fresh.

please enable all google permission again if that not work please uninstall all google app then install it again using google installer v3
