I messed with the screen resolution in the build.prop file and now its kind of stuck on an in between resolution, any ideas on how to get it back to stock? Everything works fine currently but some of the apps don't display correctly (don't fill screen) and notification bar 3g and bars are a little blurry.
Other than that looks pretty good when you use ADW launcher.
Running 2.2 and rooted.

Use ADB to pull the file, modify it, and push it back?
or you could just push the BACKUP of that file back to the phone. See, I KNOW you kept a copy of that file before modifying it, right?
I tried modifying the file and pushing it back and it didn't change.
Of course I have backup of original file on PC :-D. Guess I will try that next.

Ok, I just rooted and flashed CM6. I previously had 1.6 and, using OpenHome, utilized all of my screens.
I'm using ADW Launcher that came with CM6. It's saying one of my screens is full when I only have one app on it. I've modified the ADW screen settings for columns and rows, as well as other stuff, and even deleted the screen and replaced it. It still says there's no more room on that screen.
Is there a setting I'm missing?
I was able to get a 2nd app on there, but nothing after that.
Is there a setting that limits the number of apps on your desktop/homescreen?

I created a port of a tron theme for the 2.3.15 OTA. Right now it is only for framework, and I have simply swapped images and edited colors in xml files. I can no longer open Settings-->phone settings.
When I click it, it just goes back to my home screen. Any ideas what I may have messed up? The same thing happens for battery manager too...

Could just need the simple icon size adjustments in adw?
" once its gone,its GONE."
Well I use go launcher and I have the option to turn off the names under them, so is it possible you've click on a similar setting in adw?

I checked everything on ADW,nothing works.how to take screenshot ?
Depends what cyanogenmod you have. If you have 7.1.0.1 then hold the down the power button and select screen shot. If not then you'll need a screen shot app

Ohh thank you so much. You guys are wonderful. I did something and now the icons are showing in full.
Is it possible to have live animated wallpapers as background on home screen ?
if yes, will that slow the entire phones operation.
The reason i'm asking is this
I tried overclocking and after reboot the phone was working ok,but i don't notice any faster than before.

Well when you overclocked did you select the "Set at boot" checkbox because else when you reboot the phone slows back to default speeds. Also, to enable live wallpapers long-touch a blank space in the home screen and touch "wallpapers">"live wallpapers" to select one. The default "nexus" one works fine with little lag for me on the overclock settings shown in my signature
Thank you so much Matt.
The overclocking is now working good, yes i didn't ticked the CPU set at boot. ON live wallpaper-- when i click live wallpaper all i see is google maps. and nothing else on the list.
I guess i have to get a seperate live wall paper.
Do i need to reboot my phone to make the CPU overclock settings to be implemented ?.
Thanks once again.
It has option to only show mobile numbers. That's the only thing I'm missing from CM7. Is it possible? Could I just overwrite the stock app with one pulled from CM7?

I replaced the stock mms.apk with the one from CM7. It worked, but as soon as I chose settings it force closed on me. Even after a reboot. The Messaging Icon also disappeared from the dock. I went back to the stock mms.apk but the Icon is still gone. Anyone know haw to fix that?
Never mind. I went into applications, pressed menu soft button and dragged the messaging icon into the dock. Geewiz 2.3 ROM.

Did you try pulling the one from comrom? It may work for you.
You need to change some resource id's for it to work properly. There are several things that won't match up. It should still work for most basic functions, but images and stuff won't match up properly between the cm7 framework and tw framework.
so I installed the latest update for TiBu, and I performed a system backup. after completion, my wallpaper reverted back to stock, and when I try to change it by long pressing on the home screen and selecting wallpapers, I get an error message saying that the "app is not installed".
I also tried going into the gallery app, selecting a picture, and choosing "set picture as", the app force closes.
I tried using the stock launcher and the holo launcher, but to no avail. I was on the modded framework.apk, but even after reverting back to the original framework (and disabling LMT), I still cannot change my wallpaper. I'm wondering if TiBu had anything to do with it?
Is there an app that actually applies a wallpaper?
thanks!
Zedge allows you to apply then from within the app

Good idea. I was able to get it to work via picasa tool app.
Still odd that I could no longer do it from the home screen.

weird, so this happened again! I performed a system data backup via TiBu, and the phone's wallpaper went back to stock - still cannot long press to change the wallpaper (or change it via gallery).
my only work around is to upload a pic to my picasa album, and then set it from there.
has anyone had this issue? I'm guessing I'm missing some app?

This sounds like one heck of an obnoxious hassle. Are you using a stock launcher? If not, each launcher has their gestures and such for what long pressing the screen would do. I'm assuming you're using the stock launcher but if not, check the gestures on the custom launcher.
