Has anybody successfully used a turbo-sim on a locked Bell Galaxy S Without any problems?
which one would you guys recommend? I've just about given up on waiting for an unlock code from unlockgenie.com

once unlocked it will not relock itself.. no worries.. as far as unlocking solutions I mused mobile in canada but I think you should e-mail them with the IMEI and see if they have a unlock code for it. what carrier was it locked to? that would help narrow it down

Yes! i unlocked my X10 with them cuz I couldn't unlock it anywhere else. Trust me, I've tried all of the online remote unlocking services. HTCCode has the cable unlocking method, for $40, it's not cheap but it's really worthed. I recommended it to a lot of my buddies here in the forum and all of it worked. I've been using my X10 for about 3 months without any problem now hope this helps.
anyone know where to get the unlock codes for this phone?
ebay...
nckzone worked for me.
lots of suggestions posted here...

Locked to which carrier?
For members who are on the MF3 firmware, what is your experience of Sim unlocking? It seems many are unable to sim unlock. Has anyone successfully sim unlocked, and how have you done it? I'm sure there would be a lot of members who would appreciate the feedback.
i buy my att s4 at full price and requested an unlock code from customer service, they gave me a 10 digit unlock code that worked fine, i am on the f*****ing mf3 firmware... thinking of selling the phone and getting an european version... will see later...
in the past i tested an unlock apk that brute force the unlock code, as it's a 10 digit code you could try that, it will take some hours of key testing, but you will get the code finally and for free don't remember the name of the application have a look on the play store or on aptoide
Cheers
I just did the chat with international care and they gave me the code.

Apparently this works. I haven't tried it though. I have no reason to at the moment.

Ok, seems like an official code from att works. Other methods seem to be mixed. Anyone else?
I took mine to a shop they got paid 25 for to get unlock

I have had no issues with the code AT&T gave me I used a friends T-Mobile card to unlock
Hello,
I am sorry to ask this again but I have an AT&T S4 that's currently stock and runing 4.4.2 and I was wondering if there is any way to unlock it for T-mobile? I tired following some of the posts on here but they seem to be old and outdated. Does anyone have any other suggestions?'
Thanks!

I haven't heard anything yet..did more digging and it seems like you have to downgrade but then it's not guaranteed that you can unlock it.. I bought an unlock code for $30..still waiting to get it so I'll let you know if it works lol

If you are an AT&T customer or a previous member you can unlock your AT&T phone by going here. It is FREE and i have done it with all my phones so far. They provide you with an unlock code and all you have to do is insert the new non-at&t sim and enter the unlock code.

Since you have the unlock code, it will be almost the same thing. All you do is insert the non-att sim card and it will ask you to enter the unlock code. Enter the code and now you have an unlocked phone.
I failed two times trying to unlock my note 3 n900w8 (bell) that has been flashed to cyanogenmod. Does anyone know if flashed firmwares have problems unlocking? The guy at the second shop told me that I needed to go back to stock. Is anyone familiar with this?

You cannot unlock by just flashing another firmware.
No...what I mean is I try to unlock AFTER flashing... I currently fail to unlock on cyanogenmod

The same. You need unlock code for it.
Nevermind, I got it to work.
PSA and to all future readers: If you're using a note 3 from CANADA (n900w8), and you flash a hlte/cm based custom rom on it, you will NOT be able to unlock your phone using the unlock code from your original carrier while you're on the custom rom (as it's carrier is 'general'; see below) -- you need to revert back to stock (I had bell) and then throw in the unlock code for the original carrier for it to unlock.
What I theorize is that you'll be able to use a general unlock code rather than a carrier specific unlock code to work when on a general (ie. cm) based rom however.
Not really understand what you are saying. Anyway thank you for sharing
