CyanogenMod Sense alternative

Hi!
I would really like to try out a CyanogenMod build on my HD2. Till now I have only played with the Sense builds. The reason for that is the Sense contacts, calendar and dialer apps integration, and exchange server integration for business mail.
The most important part to me are
the abillity to link Facebook, Twitter and Google contacts together in the contacts app (exchange is not important to me for contacts)
the T9 dialer functionality
the Facebook for Sense integration into the calendar app
and the exchange email client
Does anybody know of any good substitute apps for the above mentioned features? I'm not interested in the HTC widgets and HTC camera.

1. Shockingly, the Facebook and Twitter app would take care of that.
2. Dialer One seems to be pretty popular
3. Dunno
4. Built-in, called Email
Thanks for answering. Does Facebook and Twitter now combine similar contacts into one contact? I think that the newest version of the native Facebook Android app actually syncs with the calendar by default now.
I think it adds the contact but won't merge contacts with the same name. I'm having the same issue. Gone from sense to CM 7

So you are saying that, it links together facebook contact with the contact in your phone, making his profile picture as caller id picture on your phone for example ?
I would recommend you to try launcher pro on top of cyanogenmod7 , even though it doesn't have everything that sense has, it has a launcher that's pretty close to sense , it has widgets like the calendar with agenda, a friends stream for facebook and twitter, or you can do them individually, a favorites widget just like sense, good animation when scrolling thru the pages in the homescreen. I really like it!

Sorry for interupting, but im intrested in Sense like dialer, and sense like people ( for example, persons facebook profile picture appears as my contact picture, caller id ect..)
isnt CleanDroid a CM desire build?
Apparently if you go to edit the contact then press menu again then you can join contacts similar to linking them where sense is available. This was written by someone else on here. Can see who but credit goes to them as this does work.

Mail widget - Gingerbread

Has anybody come across a good email widget for gingerbread, like the HTC Sense widget in Android 2.2?
I've managed to find a replacement for the agenda and messaging, but not for the emails..

I would be interested in this too.
What are your replacements for messages and agenda called ?
I just use the Launcher Pro plus - launcher, this one has a built in "HTC Sense like" messaging and agenda widget.

Friendstream

Hi,
quick question, is there Friendstream on the arc or yomething similar?
Since i really dont like the timescape from se it takes too long to update...
thx in advance..
If you use Launcher Pro, it has a built in "Friends" widget that works great (I'm using that now on my X10.
If you want to keep the Arc launcher then you can use Colorize Widget
by SnowBEE. It has a similar style and a bunch of widgets. But the one that combines multiple feeds (Twitter, Facebook, etc...) which is called "Timeline" is only in the pay version of Colorize.
I think there are others out there. I like both of these because they are scrollable.
Or there's SE's own app - Timescape.
It merges facebook status updates, 'tweets', texts messages and e-mails into a single stream which, unless I'm mistaken, is the same as HTC's FriendStream.
htc friendstream is better than timescape but still the same idea
btw what is arc lunch pro?
LauncherPro... Love it...
Just one more thing, which is a good mail client were i have a nice widget with it ckind of the onethat looks like Friendstream on sence.
I have installed Pure messenger widget and K9 to get the mails... but for some reason when i hit reload on the widget it will not start getting the mails.
I have to set an automtic downlaod of the mails in order for the widget to load them... and that sucks...
THX in advance

Exchange Email Search in CM7

Hi guys, I've searched but can't find the answer related to CM7 on the atrix. I desperately need to search my exchange/corporate emails in CM7. I am running the current beta on the Atrix. I love the rom but the lack of email search capability is really killing it for me. I can live without the fingerprint scanner but can't live without email search. Am I missing something or is this a feature that is lacking from the mail that is included in the Atrix CM7 build? Thanks.
It's not included in stock email. I had the same problem and my solution was to use Business Calendar. It blows away the stock calendar and I pair it with Pure Calendar Widget to have a 4x2 scrollable calendar widget on my homepage. Other advantages are better viewing options and a more simple way to add events, much more intuitive. Looking for an adjustable Calendar widget/program

I totally love my Note 3 and I have rooted and romed it but my biggest problem is that I need a decent calendar in monthly widget form. The best one I have found so far unfortunately is the Samsung S-Planner. Samsung castrated it when it comes to features from the Note 2 version of it but it is still the best out there.I have tried aCalendar+, Business calendar, Jorte, and Google calendar but keep going back to S-Planner.
I have been trying to find a widget that gives me a monthly calendar with all my appointments that I can link to S-planner so I can finally switch to a different launcher and say goodbye to Touchwiz forever. Of course the best would be a way to get the S-Planner widget on a different launcher but I don't think that is possible.
I have installed Zooper Widget and UCCW but I am not able to find a monthly calendar that fits my requirements
Any help and pointers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks:laugh:
Try Today - Calendar Widget

Touch calendar. Come with adjustable widget and functions very similar to splanner. Sync with Google and all the appointments sync. I've used it when going to asop and such and been very happy.
