My touchscreen is no longer working in either android or wm. I originally had the energy rom and since my Problem started have switched back to chucky rom and finally back to tmobile stock rom. I had radio version 2.12 installed and have tried 2.10 since. Any suggestions?

Eh thats what I am afraid of.
Seems a bit odd to me that reports of this seem to be surfacing only now? Could this not be linked to running Android?
I have the same issue btw.
I'm going to try a task29 see if that helps.

When you sent it back did you uninstall hardspl? if you did what was the exact process you used. I tried loading the nbh file from a stock rom but am not having success. Have tried a couple of different memory cards. Also, I wonder if this has been happening more with the energy roms.

you need to remove hspl before sending it back or else they may deny your claim.
solutions
1- use hspl3, run as admin, and reverse but if that doesn't work (didn't for me) do the following:
2- load bootloader manually (reboot holding volume down)
3- plug into usb
4- now run hspl3
this worked for me (thanks again to samsamuel!)
I don't know what I did but it has miraculously started working again. No idea. Really. Maybe in my failed attempts to remove hdspl I did something.

congrats! though i wouldn't be surprised if it comes back...mine was good for a day then it was over and done. funny thing was the hardware buttons worked (and i could flash different roms / etc.)
good luck!
Had the same issue week. i was running energy rom and darkstone's droid. Mine wouldn't work at all. t-mobile sent me a new one. Gave me a loaner phone. i stubbled across that my phone responded to touch and worked just fine as long as the sim card wasn't in the HD2. When re-inserted it work start freezing up again after a short period of time.
Same here touch screen does not work. I reflashed the ROM no help (energy rom) I even tried the stock rom no help removed SD card no help. Will be taking it back to TMobile after i uninstall HSPL

Maybe a bit early to set a pattern, but in all cases I have read in this thread, the not responding screen come after installing the following combination: Energy ROM + Android. Strange, just in case I will try to avoid that combination...
And I see another trend here! T-Mobile devices! Maybe there is some problem with the US HD2 Touchscreen?
Just had the same problem.
I have an unbranded HD2 running stock 1.66 WWE ROM. Had Android FroyoStone V2 running.
Have just sent my HD2 back to HTC after removing HSPL and reflashing with the 1.66 WWE ROM.
I did not install android on my device. Just the cookie ROM.
I reflashed the stock ROM and removed the HSPL and still no help. TMO told me to do a hard reset which didnt work either and they are sending me a new one 3-5 days to ship. Using a loaner phone.
I had the same problem last week. I was also running energy & android, reflash my HD2back to stock rom and got the screen replaced by HTC.
Don't know is it due to Android?
It happend to me yestorday, i dont have ganraty on my phone!!!!! dont know what to do!!! ;(
I had the same problem and I could not solve it . I dont know what to do. I allredy made un order for a new htc hd7 mobile from US.
I have the robot voice issue -- I know that it's caused by using the Stock Rom or one that isn't Android friendly. What happened: I took my phone into T-Mobile and flashed the newest leaked stock ROM and planned to switch back to the Miri rom I was using before. Last night I switched back to the old ROM that was working fine but still the robot voice issue remains --
Radio is the same 2.14 (the newest)
Back to old Non-Stock Miri Rom
What else am I missing that would have installed from the official rom?
Why don't you use the search button? Does it hurt or something like that?
Please use it next time.
Maybe your solution

If I had figured out a solution from a search I wouldn't have posted. Everyone says you need to flash to a non-stock rom -- I have reflashed with the exact same setup as before but with different results. Flashing this rom should have overwritten anything stock -- including the drivers, I believe.
I don't know about robot voice.. but if you like robot dance there are some pretty cool videos on you tube!!
Try a task29 before you flash your rom again. And did you try another radio? Like 2.12?
What does the firmware update provide for the phone and I know I would have to flash sbf and get it due to the fact that im using fission 2.0 but. Im just curious as to what this firmware has for me. My phone is flying and it has been working amazingly overclocked at 1.25 and high 1700 quadrant scores and around 200mb free in memory at all times and I don't feel like losing all the hard work in setting my phone back up like it is just for a crappy new baseband so any info would be awesome. I also heard there is a radio update, may be wrong...

i installed the 2.3.20 OTA update and my phone is working good. If you read the verizon's readme for the update it details the changes, how much of that is fixes to the ROM and how much is from the kernel, radio, baseband updates i don't know but I always like to have the latest software.
Personally setting my phone up is pretty easy, usually only taking me 10 minutes. Connect to wifi and have my google account pulls my phone numbers, facebook account pulls pictures and the market saves the apps i've downloaded. My pictures are saved on the SD card so those don't change.
If i was you i'd SBF back to stock 2.2.20 or even SBF to 2.3.20 and install fission 2.X when its released later tonight.
Anyone running the fission rom seeing a 3G issue of any kind?
Not 3G but WIFI
I have 2.3.1 installed and have WIFI issues but I think its more my phone than the ROM.
You may want to check your radios version. In looking through the various ROMS I saw a couple of ways you could end up not updating the radio drivers, especially when mixing the OTA and ROM upgrades.
If you find yourself in this position it may be wise to SBF and then install Fission so you start with a clean slate, but thats a lot of work. The current radio drivers are 1.09.07P for the Droid X.
I'm having issues with both. I constantly have to connect, then dis/reconnect because my wifi won't transfer can data after several minutes of use.
I wouldn't think my problem would be with the radio as I just SBF'd before flashing 2.3.1.

I did not find any solutions so with this small issue and the need for random battery pulls I flashed the stock rooted MF9 and all is good again.

Thank you for your feedback.
I had a rooted SPH-L720 with the hotspot mod and decided to upgrade to tri force ROM 3.1
my speed went from 7-14 Mbps down and 6-11 Mbps up to 0.19 - 0.41 Mbps down and about the same for upload and half the time when I do a speed test it says network communication error. I backed up my phone before updating the ROM but get an error message when trying to restore back to the original version I wonder if we're having similar problems?

i was getting the same thing i think it is from the towers being upgraded and there is a new version that upgrades to android 4.3 on triforce 4.0. also before you go to the new rom make sure to upgrade your radio (mja). you can get it from this link
