When I load up a Youtube video then switch to another programming by holding down the Home key, when I switch back tot he Youtube video it just reloads the video meaning I have to download from scratch.
Is there anyway of having the Youtube video load in the background as I access other applications?
I am on the stock firmware with lagfix 2.3 and autokiller.
Just wondering if anyone has had a different experience with Youtube and multi-tasking?

Anybody have any tips for watching movies with the flashplayer? I watch naruto at work through goodanime.net, and sometimes it stops playing but the audio keeps going. When I try to restart the browser it crashes
To view flash videos the best option is to use skyfire.
The skyfire video plugin helps to optimize the flash content, thereby saving lot of data.
Hi!
I have SGS2 for about a week now. A couple of days after buying it I noticed that all flash videos from any video service like youtube play with audio a little behind video. The lag is about 250 msec, it's constant in any video or browser, doesn't change during video playback and doesn't depend on resolution as well. I tried latest 10.3 from market and rolled back to 10.1, but it doesn't help.
In native youtube app and in mediaplayers the sync is perfect.
Any ideas how to fix it?
Maybe there is a way to completely uninstall flash and reinstall 10.3?
Firmware KG5, no root.
Hi Guys, just bought the i9505 Qualcomm LTE version of the Galaxy S4 and after loading all my applications including the Flash player, I tried playing videos at youtube.com but found the message no flash player installed. I checked applications and it is definitely installed properly, I even installed UCS browser to make sure. On the stock browser I noticed that under settings, it is missing advanced options so I can't check if plugins are enabled.
Anyone managed to get flash to run on the stock internet browser care to share how it was done, many thanks in advance!
This video shows it working :http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4xA2erlhALA. However, after deleting cache and reinstalling flash, I was able to get one video to play on YouTube, but when I tried others, it said that I needed a newer version. But the one I downloaded was the most recent one for Android on the Adobe site???? Anyone have any answers.
However, when I click the video and it asks if I should play with the browser or YouTube, if I pick you tube it will play, and when I push th back button, it brings me back to the browser. I guess this is okay for Youtube but I wonder what happens if you encounter a video on a webpage. I went to Fox News and there found a video on it's page, click it played. Don"t know if it needs flash or not.
I went to ESPN, and clicked on a video, and it gave me a choice of download or Video Player. When I choose Video Player screen went blank nothing happened. Used back button to return to ESPN page. Didn't try download.
Nada, that's just opening up the video in the youtube app as opposed to viewing flash content in the browser. Looks like the stock browser is not using the flash plugin at all. Other browsers can use the flash plugin so only question remaining is how to activate plugins in the stock browser?
Is there any way to make the browser or phone change how it handles videos.Like in its own standalone player. For example an embedded video on a website will play natively on the website on the note 3 but in iphone it will open an app to play it.
Is there any way to make the browser on android open an app when playing embedded video instead of having to struggle with the tiny little buttons from the video player. Its just a hassle having to re-size or hit the full screen button every time and having the video restart playing all over again.
What I'm thinking in my head is when opening a video link or embedded video have android open a video player app every time instead of playing natively in the browser. Youtube uses the app sometimes but many times it just plays in the mobile website of youtube which sucks too.
After swapping a bunch of weird setting, I have come by trial and error, and stumbled upon an easy fix to Hulu Plus freeze during play back on my rooted device.
Though Hulu is not completely bug free, my odd work around allows pause, 10 second rewind, and slider usage. So that in its self is good enough.
Once you upgrade to the latest Hulu Plus, you should be able to run it and search through the listings normally.
Once you find and start a video, you should get commercial clips to play normally, but once the program or movie starts, it soon pauses. Have no fear, a simple press of the home button will minimize Hulu Plus into a background task. Once you have the home screen, just go back into the task manager and bring up Hulu Plus. Once Hulu Plus brings up the screen, playback is normal. WHOOOOOHOOO!
If by chance playback freezes during pause or any manual slider movement, just repeat the steps once more.
This works with Boeffla config running as well. Also I run my rom with 2D hardware acceleration enabled and 4x msaa enabled.
Enjoy!
