The "Unknown Address" problem - Vibrant General

When I receive a text message from anyone, it will display in the notification bar but when i go to view it, it's telling me Unknown Address and I miss the message and who it was from. Can anyone give some insight on why that happens and how to fix it?
Thanks

SMS Notification Issue

When i get a new message or a delivery report the envelop appears on the top banner. If i go to the messages and read or delete the message the notification envelope still stays there. I have to click on the envelope and select delete for it to disappear.
Any setting to get rid of this?

I have no solution, but I have been wondering about this bug too. Only appears when you are in the inbox while a new message arrives, but surely this bug should have been caught and fixed ages ago?
anyone got any ideas on this please

Error I've never had: "Unread text message" (24/7)

For some reason my device tells me I have a unread text message, ALLLL THE TIME.
I've deleted every message out of my inbox and email inbox, but it still says I have a message.
Is there a quick fix for this?
If not, its not big deal, it gives me more of an excuse to flash to the new beta touchit for wings, but if there is a fix I'd like to know what it is.
Thanks in advance.

SMS Text displays straight away on receipt

Hi sorry if this has been posted before but I couldn’t find it. I have a G2 Touch the problem I have is when I receive an sms text message it displays the message as soon as I get it the background fades out and the message appears in a highlighted window along with the sender. What I want it to do is show there is a message in the notification bar then manually go to messages and open it in there. This is the way it happened when I first got the phone and it then started displaying them on receipt. I don’t have any sms apps installed but I just can’t find a way of stopping this from happening. Thank You in advance.

Strange statusbar message

Hi guys. Yesterday, I noticed this strange statusbar message claiming to be from samsung, asking me to tap on the message to send security information to them? I have never seen this message before, is it legit? Or is it a virus of some sort? Has anyone else had this message just popup out of the blue? I have added a screenshot below to show you the message.
that's true, is not a virus but you can choose not to send anything to them
