Anytime I received a call, I have to wait 2 seconds before the caller on the other end can hear me. Is anyone else having this issue?
Wasn't having this issue before on the 2.1.
Thanks in advance.

This happens on most of my calls too. Sort of unfortunate since my first "hello" is alway pleasant, but by the time they hear me I always sound frustrated because I am repeating myself
I just wait to hear the incoming caller before speaking.

So is this a 2.2 leak bug?
I don't think so. I did the same thing on 2.1.

Its happened to me on Android 2.0, 2.0.1, 2.1, and 2.2.
Its happened to me on my Incredible, Droid, and BB Tour as well.
* shrug*
No idea why. However I do hate saying hello twice.

I'm seeing a problem with this app - it doesn't properly search near my location - but Google Maps does properly show my location. Is anyone else seeing this?

I completely despise the fact that Froyo builds include text messages and even voicemail messages in the Phone app logs. To top it off, you can select to view by dialed, received, and missed calls, but not all calls excluding messages, as it was before. Has anyone looked into doing something about it?

I also abhor this. It is absurdly redundant.
+1 to this

Yes! This bugs the crap out of me too.
Mammon posted a fix in the Development Section and included it in his latest Froyo Rom. Haven't tried it myself yet though.
Here is a fix. I haven't tried it yet.
Not sure if everybody knows this..
you can call contacts by swiping to the right on the name in your text message app or in your contact app. To text someone just swipe to the left...thought this is pretty cool and wanted to share...
Goood find I never knew... Any other apps we can dio this in?

This was one of those features that was touted during a demonstration at CTIA 2010 (back in March when the Galaxy S phones were announced) and was apparently never really mentioned afterwards.
That's useful. I always went the long way lol.

Even faster is to dedicate a page in your launcher to quick dial shortcuts. Single press.
Sending simple text hangs up on sending a lot of times and sometime fail have to resend. Never had that problem use to be lighting fast. Running DK28 with nebula 1.0.6 Please anyone some ideas.

Having the same problem on Nebula 1.0.7!!! Reset usually fixes it, but wow is that annoying.
It's got fix on it's own or I guess I was doing prl a lot running normal now.

Just to toss this into the mix, I've had this happen on stock Eclair as well (rooted but that's it) even. It only happens randomly/occasionally, but it does happen enough to be noteworthy.
I have since flashed back to stock 2.1 and have not had this happen at all. Overall my 2.1 stock experience has been fantastic with no little bugs or hangups that I experienced on DK28. Hopefully the eventual stock 2.2 doesn't have issues.
yes sometimes my texts are stuck on "sending" and wont go through until i reset the phone. but im rnning bonsai. i think the commonality here is the dk28. ****s buggy as all hell
Ok, i just received the OTA 2.3.3 update for my Desire Z.
Doesn't look like too many changes.
Android 2.3.3
Sense 2.1
Anything to look out for??
How can I get the update I'm on simple mobile can someone post a like to the update

If you want the offical 2.3 update, you have to wait for your carrier to push it to you OTA.
If you have root, however, there are alot of 2.3.3 and 2.3.4 builds that you can flash.
I'm just curious if OTA shows for all guys who have installed clean Gingerbread Test ROM.
Do messages still display in the wrong order with stock htc sms app?
Sent from my Htcclay's SuperCM7 G2 using XDA App
Messages are sorted fine, at least on my phone. Which is curious, since usually java+locales+sorting is a kind of combination that screws things up for me
Only negative thing to say about this release (besides being awfully late) is that GPS reception is bad (still). It could be HW issue though.

I updated. Some things are good:
New screen with app, wifi connection speed up, galery works fine
Some thing not good:
Phone restart, very often sense restart, gps problems with turn on and fix pos

If you're on simple mobile, then you're in the US and probably have a G2. Then this update doesn't apply to you
