[Q] How to disable lock screen? - Vibrant General

Figured it out.
Get this app:
http://code.google.com/p/mylockforandroid/downloads/detail?name=myLock_1.4b_rollback.apk&can=2&q=
Allows you to unlock the phone by single-pressing the power key OR double pressing your volume keys or if you really want options, pressing any volume/power key and then pressing one of the capacitive buttons. Great app.

Key lock idea - Black me 1.4

The program "Black me 1.4" seems to be able to lock all keys and leave the D-pad (round center key) unlocked. You can turn on the screen by clicking the D-pad but the only thing is that you always have to close your application's screen every time. Is there a way to not get the the programs screen every time you click on the D-pad to turn it on?
And maybe with this feature of being able to disable all keys with the exception of the D-pad, this could be a great idea for creating a Selective key lock. On WM, under Settings, you can find "Key lock" and then you only have 3 options:
1) Lock all buttons except Power button
2) Lock (all) buttons if device is locked
3) Do not lock buttons
Maybe you can add the option of: Lock all buttons except D-pad and Power button.
That could be cool
Also the volume up and down could be added as exceptions, so if you have it in your pocket you can silence it without having to turn it on and then nobody sees you do that.
Thank you!

[Q] Change Functions Of Home Button?

I have a 9505G rooted, and I'd like to change the funcitons of the home button. Specificaly, there are two changes I'd like to make.
1. Disable the home button while the phone is locked. While the phone is locked and asleep, I can use either the power button or the home button to wake the phone. I want to disable the home button here, so that only the power button can wake the phone. I find that while my phone is in my pocket, it often wakes up "on its own", presumably because I'm accidnetally pressing the home button against my hip, chair, whatever...
2. Launch the recently-used apps list by holding the home button. On previous devices I've used (such as the Galaxy Nexus), holding down the home button would bring up the list of recently-used apps. With the S4GE, the long-press brings up Google Now, and a double-click is required for the recently-used apps list. I'd like to change this behavior so that a long-press brings up the recent app list, and double-click does nothing.
Can this be done, and if so, how? Thanks for your help.

[Q] remap lock

is there anyway to remap the power button short press as long press search button and keeping its long press for the power menu ?

Volume up as home button? Is It possible?

I would like to use volume up for screen wake up but I cannot find solution how to do it. There is way to resign buttons by editing WAKE commant in *.kl files but it does not work for me.
For my opinion, perfect way for screen waking up would be If capacitive buttons (menu or back key) could have wake up possibility.
