Would like to find out from forumers whether you prefer the official WM6.1 STD or WM6.5 STD on your HTC Snap? And why do you prefer one over the other? Is there a drastic improvement with WM6.5?

Try this one - it is WM6.5 and a bit battery heavy but it is fast and pretty (I have added extra customisations like S2U2 and taskbars)!

This is more of a query rather than just chasing cooked ROM's but does anyone know if HTC or anyone within xda-developers have WM ver 6.5 suitable for use with the HTC P6500 Sedna? I don't want to lose any functionality of the fingerprint reader, just would like to have new proggies and a fresher look as Ihave had my Sednau since 2007.

was wondering if it is possible to get WinMO 6.5 messages(like on the HD) on WM 6.1. Just wondering since i like 6.5 better but it makes my TP2 freezes from time to time

6.5 is too slow, i like wm 6.1 system, most software could run on it, i want it so much, help!~ help!~ ^_^
That's not possible with this device. There aren't even good cooked 6.5 ROM's. You have to use 6.5 which is probably a good thing because it's much better than 6.1. I had an HTC Tilt which ran 6.0/6.1 originally and 6.5 ROM's only improved performance, didn't make it worse. Make sure you're running the latest official/clean ROM using the guides in this forum and you will be maximizing the performance of the X2.
