Whenever i get a incomming call and i try to mute the ringtone my hd2 will start making a dailtone sound like im calling someone and waiting for them to pick up.
Anyone experienced this? I have it on 23569 and 23128. Its not the phonecanvas package as i tried several. I tried a 2.10 oem and am now on a 3.04 oem but no difference.
Anyone got a clue?
Hmm nobody who ran into this bug?
Got me puzzled. I tried different oemdrivers, oemxips, builds(6.5.5/6.5.3), canvasses and still nothing fixes this

I thought this was only a ROM issue as I was using a ROM that seemed to have many problems with it other than this, but when I changed to another ROM, the problem still persists.
The problem is that sometimes when I get incoming calls, the phone will just vibrate and crash with no backlight on the screen and only showing the Incoming Call bubble with the caller ID in it. I'm not exactly sure what the people calling receive, I think they just get silence, no ringing tone at all.
I'm wondering if anyone else has had this issue or if it's just me.
I also have this once in a while. Mostly, when I didn't reboot my Qtek for several days. The device freezes displaying the Incoming call bubble and it keeps vibrating until I reset it. I guess the caller gets the busy signal or gets re-routed to voicemail.

the same here...sometimes freezes and show "incoming call" if i dont reset for few days.. i got used to that

First of all wich ROM are you using that causes crash?
I had this issue in almost all ROM´s for UNI when I had installed HTC Home
Finally I tried Tomal´s v7.6 and all problems gone

yea ur rite had this issue in tomals v7.6 also but when i uninstalled htc home it was ok after that.
Wonder anyone got this problem, make outgoing call or incoming call, no voice from
speaker. But if I press "Speaker On" during call I can hear the party voice. Playing
music song playback sound ok, only during call conversation can't hear any sound.
Any advice? Thanks.

How long is your HTC Touch ? Mine is one year+ and if yours also a year+ phone, then
I probably can confirm the Touch got this problem and phone do not last long.
Same thing started happening to my Rogers elfin. On incoming calls, my microphone won't work unless I'm on speaker phone. I can't even make outgoing calls anymore. I keep getting the message "Call Ended".
I've tried flashing my original backup ROM and several different ROMS all with no success.
Anybody have any idea how to fix this please?

Try this:
During incoming call press volume button up. This isn't a tweak, it's just the normal settings. If it doesn't work you might have a hardware issue.

Solved the BT notification... but i couldn't find the solution to answer with headset or carkit... Looks like other rom's don't have this issue. I have Bluetooth, BthA2DP, BthHID in SYS selected and checked the OEM folders... all BTfiles are in. Anyone knows the answer?????
PS: Using 23569 and 2.14 OEM as base...
Same problem here. Mine is 1.72 T-Mobile UK based ROM. Would be most grateful if someone could find a solution to this problem. Complained to HTC. No ETA on any kind of fix. No acknowledgement either.

i recently purchased a HTC touch 2 and have the following issue : for incoming calls, sometimes it only vibrates , other times it is ringing ...without changing any settings. I have an MP3 as a rigtone...don't know if that matters or not ....
has anyone experienced such annoying issue? I can't hear my phone ringing and it drives me crazy ...pls advise if you know how to solve it
ps: i have WM 6.5 installed on it , bought from Orange

I think there is a MP3 ringtone patch available on the HTC site. Try it, should resolve your issue.
I had the same problem, solved by stopping using mp3s for rings....

I have this problem - when I call to somebody, the sound problem appears - even ring tone is strange and insted voice I hear some noise ( I can recognize somebody speaking, but only noise). The incoming calls are without any problems.
What should it be? Have anybody same problem and know solution?
I have ROM 3.14 and radio 2.15.50.14
