Hi all,
Is it possible to get the HTC lock screen (as in the one in HTC Hero) in HTC Magic? Anybody tried installing the htclockscreen.apk before on Magic?
Thanks.
The lock screen is the same of Hero???
Is there a way to change it? anyone??
Thanks
I am not here to help, because I myself have never used Android before and know only very basic (aka noob) things regarding the OS (will be joining with the Desire).
I just wanted to say: I think it is the same as found on the HTC Hero, because this is the HTC SENSE lockscreen. Both phone's feature HTC Sense, so...
On the desire you can disable HTC Sense and get the stock 2.1 experience (including the stock 2.1 lockscreen I assume). Maybe you can try that to get another lockscreen, but then again you will have to give up on HTC Sense.

It makes Sense. Thanks for the tip
I should have tried it before I talked.
No, turning off Htc Sense does not give me the Eclair lock screen, it gives me the same Htc Sense lock screen.
I thought this smartphone was be able to add voice dial commands, but so far I couldn't find a way to. Is it because of Htc Sense?
Regards
Hi There,
I want to add this feature to my HTC MAGIC .. it's already available on HTC HERO and i'm wondering if we can make use of it?
Thank you
If you have magic with sense ui, ie htc's fancy interface, settings--social networks--facebook is where you will find the setting.
no i don't have that .. i have the normal vodafone htc magic!!
Hi all, I prefer Android 2.3 builds with CM but I miss some Sense apps. Would like to ask you is there any way to launch the following on Gingerbread:
- HTC USB To PC popup;
- HTC Dialer & Contact manager;
- HTC Sense keyboard;
Thanks

i have been looking for something like this but apparently for sense applications to work sense has to be running. So does HTC clicker.
Sense application wont work under AOSP gingerbread i am afraid.
I just installed the energy sense 3.5 ROM on my HTC HD2 and it is asking for a HTC sense account to be able to change my theme and stuff. Does anyone know how to fix this?
