I got keyboard aa bug on iGO 8.3.4 when change the power management setting to always on or smart. Cannot type anything on the keyboard. Anyone has idea to solve the problem?
read from some other forum and it seems to be the issue with shipped rom. Some one has the same problem on blackstone and solved by install cooked ROM.
You can change back to default skin, close iGO8, delete the SAVE folder (after backing it up if you have things you want to keep), and relaunch iGO8 for a temporary solution.
I solved mine by adding the following to sys.txt:
Code:
[device]
type="ALIAS_TOUCH HD"
sdcard_dsk_num=7
Well, at least for now. Hasn't seen it popping up since.
Here my full sys.txt (Landscape, full screen), just in case.
Code:
[device]
type="ALIAS_TOUCH HD"
sdcard_dsk_num=7
[folders]
app="%SDCARD%/iGO8"
[interface]
maxzoom2d=6000000
show_exit=1
skin="ui_igo8"
vga=1
mapfontscale=100
width=800
height=480
resolution_dir="800_480"
[debug]
skip_eula=1
[rawdisplay]
class="landscape"
highres=0
screen_x=800
screen_y=480
driver=GDI
(Note: you need a data.zip that has the ui_igo8/800_480 and ui_igo8/480_800 folders, otherwise it will fail to boot; check your version)
Hi people, try this:
in data.zip / config / keybind.txt / [default]
add :
x87="NOP"
xE5="NOP"
it works with R3 version

Hello to all
i havé cooked a ROM with rhodium s2 as base but after flash m'y ROM always starts with titanium and i want to m'y ROM starts with touchflo
i havé checked m'y reg Chome =enabled to 0 but after flash always it starts with titanium
is there any solution for thé ROM launch with touchflo not with titanium
thanks to all
this depends on order of your registry files.
for example - in TouchFlo package you disabled Titanium,
but in CHome_Lang_0409 29d83cd1-abf5-4903-8b3d-47ea40bc5688.rgu it's enabled.
if CHome_Lang_0409 will be processed after TouchFlo in your kitchen - Titanium will be enabled.
I use OsBuilder kitchen and to fix this I edited packages.cif and packages.sof - my original ROM was WM6.1 and there was no CHome packages in these files.
Hope, this will helpful for you =)
Create a zzzz_personal EXT (or whichever runs last in your kitchen) which should run last based on the zzzzz_ and enable touchflo and disable Titanium there.
Code:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Today\Items\"Windows Default"]
"Enabled"=dword:00000000
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Today\Items\TouchFLO]
"Enabled"=dword:00000001
Thanks for ur reply's Will try this.....

I assume you are cooking with Sense 2016 from LEO S 3.04 TW?
Check manila core package app.reg (both in package root and Lang_ID folder). If there are any characters other than the language you want, just replace that app.reg from LEO S 3.02 (assuming you are cooking WWE).
I had the same prob and that solved mine. Hope it works for you too!

Hi friends,
I have another weird problem and I wonder if anyone has experience with this.
On my hd2 to enable the extra mem everybody knows you need to take a nk.exe from t-mous rom.
What I've also been reading is if you like to patch date and time on the device (the date and time you set during first device setup) you need to patch s000 in nk.exe.
I've been digging with a hex editor in s000 (up and down ) but the date that popsup on the device isn't the date that I find in s000.
I've also looked in nk.exe (a dump I have on the side) that original comes with the oemdrivers and there I did find the correct date (the date that pospup on the device).
So I think that means the patch for date and time isn't in s000 of nk.exe but must be in oemdrivers or maybe in another part of XIP?
It's also not in os.nb as that has the same date as s000, so I wonder where I could look else?
Anyone has an idea or can give me a suggestion?
Grtz,
Laurentius26
I also would like to know this Thanks!
Just use the new Ervius Kitchen (supports the new NK from 3.14 ROMs) to change the date of ur ROM, i.e patch it!
Too much HEX editing is not good ;-)
WBR
Siemens Lover
Believe me I've tried, and it didn't work.
The date I'm searching for is not present in NK.EXE s000
I've changed all 2010 values with 2011 in s000 (digging up and down), and still the device bootsup with 2010.

I don't know how it's with HD2, but on most devices date is stored like this:
HEX code:
Code:
DB07 0300 0400 0300 0C00
DB07 - 2011 (year) - 2010 (DA07)
0300 - March (month)
0400 - Thursday (day of the week)
0300 - 3rd (day)
0C00 - 12 PM (time)
So on device with this example you will see 3rd March 2011 - 12 PM
Here's my NK.EXE.
Maybe somebody likes to look at it?
I'm searching for the date 20 october 2010 in it, as that's what it shows if my device boots.
It's not present or I am terrible mistaking.
Thank you.
@Spiaatie,
Thanks for the tip my friend but I think I need to patch date somewhere else as nk.exe.
I was able to patch nk.exe with ervius kitchen xipporterex.
but the date still didn't change after I cooked the rom with the patched nk.exe.
So it's deffinitly somewhere else.
Are you trying to change the date in device info-->software info?
If wanting to add date to ROM, unsure of time...but date can be set in OEMVersion RGU by adding to yours like this....Not sure if this helps....

If we modify the nk.exe with xipportex it only changes the value in Device Info -> Software -> ROM date. But we want to change the default time what is on the first start (welcome screens). I havent found any solution yet
EDIT:
Ok I've found the solution: we have to hex edit the date in msm_time.dll's S000 file in XIP (it looks like this: Aug 29 2010) . Default date on welcome screen is succesfully changed
