I've Rooted my phone with a goldcard.

My phone is currently stuck at the "TATTOO" boot image and i have rooted my phone. I tried to install OE and Fyodor respectively and each time it gets stuck at bootloader. I have put them on my SD by just copying and pasting the .ZIP of each (not at the same time). WHen they failed i did the factory reset thing in the recovery page thing. I can't load even after factory reset help! I used this root and goldcard tut at the theunlockr site - i used the link in the page to goldcard b4 rooting. (i didn't use a SD adapter, I did it straight from my phone.) If so how to do i unbrick or unroot or atleast fix my phone
I have fixed my phone by using a Update thingy with FastBooot USB. I can root my phone successfully i think. But what i think i messed up on was with the foyodor ROM install. Can somebody post or PM me instructions on how to install it because i don't get how to install it or any other ROM
Did u look in the Development Forum?

I followed the instructions on the TheUnlockr, How To - Root Your HTC Magic in One Click, and when I did everything and came to the part where I need to backup Recovery Image error occurred.

I tried this method [Guide][ALL DEVICES]ROOT + flash custom recovery + fix perfected spl [25 OCT 2010], but it ended up with "Not Enough Memory" message. What should I do now?
Such questions should be asked in the thread in which you followed the guide :0)
Try to remove an app or two and try again.
Else, ask again in the thread and i'll help you out.
use Universal Androot be sure to download the beta and select "Do not install superuser"
What is this? This is an utility to make CWM backups from the running device (without rebooting to CWM). All credits goes to ameer1234567890. It needs downloading and flashing a script file from first post of the original thread and running a command from terminal emulator. It has many options like Custom backup name etc.
For restoring one has to restore in a regular way from CWM Recovery. I have tested this on my 8800 pro andregularly using this.
It needs reading the original thread - at least first feww posts - carefully. Don't blame me if it bricks your phone. Thank ameer1234567890 in his thread not me. I am only a link provider for this awesome utility.

From in this device I don't see how to save recovery image to SD card ?
Please advice
Or please guide me to how to get from where my phone is, which is only rooted from step one in the link above.
Thanks
Peter
First root ur phone from framaroot app..
Then download and put the cwm recovery.img in the root of sd card (that means direct in sd card not in any folder).
From mobile uncle tools app update recovery..
Take backup via cwm recovery..
Download any rom read the instructions and install..
Dear Experts,
as I have already complained in several topics, my N9005 didn't boot after encryption.
Now I'm on the way to try other ROMs. But now I'm starting to thing, how to even test it with other ROMs. I have a backup of the original ROM made with TWRP. BUT, if I encrypt the device and something goes wrong - then how will I restore ? Will TWRP be somehow able to read the encrypted device ? Please suggest on how to proceed ?
I'm afraid, that if I put a ROM and encrypt the phone with it, I'll be stuck with that ROM... Or if not - what to choose in TWRP in order to get rid of the encryption then ?
Many thanks in advance!
Did you use the phone with stock recovery to encrypt?
