hello all
i like this phone alot and was watching movies with the build in youtube app
but some days later this app keep getting error
error goes like this
start youtube app....
0.50 seconds later it goes back to home screen
so the whole proggram doesnt start up!
i did download a diffrent version form here...
they work well but when a movie is ended my screen goes black and get stuck over there wich seems not working perfect to huh
is there a way to get my ''htc HD2 youtube player'' back
maby its a known issue with the stock HD2 youtube player ??

i really need help can some1 upload the orriginal HD2 youtube player plz ??
and if i do a soft reset the ''stock'' youtube player wil come back ??

I did a factory restore on my HD2 in the settings menu and it brought back my stock youtube client.
I downloaded the google youtube player from m.google.com, I decided to uninstall it however it took the whole youtube client away even the stock one.
So I had to do a soft reset to get it back to the original.
Basically it just resets your phone back to when you got it when you first bought it.

I too got my youtube app overwritten by the crappy downloadable one.
Can anyone post the stock app as .cab?

Yes a stock youtube .cab would be great for us on T-Mobile as we do not have it on there Rom

Found a solution.
Theres a rip of the HTC Youtube app WVGA here http://depositfiles.com/files/y5xiq2ljl
Installed and restarded and the original app is back, even remembered my bookmarks.

yep works flawlessly on my tmobile hd2 as well!!!!! was planning to flash another rom partly because of no youtube app, but was a in 2 minds because my phone seems to have none of the issues i`v read with other roms, now i dont have to!!!!!!!! thanks alot my friend, am happy now lol
just been playing about with my phone and noticed i cant play any of the videos i`v took with my hd2, remember reading somewhere its something to do with the youtube app. does anyone have a fix for this yet????? help!!!!!!!!
I've installed this cab twice now, even after a hard reset the app freezes when stopping videos. Anyone else get this?

I have the exact same problem - freezes all SENSE. Have you found a cure yet? Has anyone found a cure?
Looks like this link is broken. Any one has the cab ?
I did exactly the same stupid thing to install the cab from m.youtube.com and lost the original one on my HD2.

the link ist working, but i cannot install it! i habe downloaded on my device an i cklick on it, but it doesnt install yet.
Can any of you guys comment on the youtube playback quality, i get an audio lag of about 1/2 second behind the video.
Is this app the same as the original one on the rom?

Im having the same problems with my Tmobile HD2 and Youtube...
When installed I am unable to play video recordings I have made with the phone and the Youtube app crashes when trying to stop a video...
Everything works as normal when Youtube app is removed !
Can anyone help with this problem ?

So ive installed the rom 2.3.3 CM-RC4 HACKDROID Legend
and now i cant play NFS SHIFT and HAWX
i get to the screen where u have to press on the screen to start and then i get black screen and it closes without any errors.
is there any solution for that ? like downloading a program to the phone ?
I too get the same problem while launching nfs shift but I havent rooted yet pls help

yes. I can't play NFS Shift in 2.3.3 CM-RC4 HACKDROID. but works in 2.2.1 MiniCM i think 2.3.3 CM-RC4 HACKDROID has some bugs in 3d. or 3d is not supported.
aww i hope it will be fixed as soon as posible cause i really like that rom
Hey guys, I'm wondering if someone managed to play gta III.
I tried every version: v1.0, v1.1 and v1.2
v1.0 closed after I pushed the "new game"-button
v1.1 and v1.2 stuck at the loadingscreen after I started a new game, the progress bar just doesn't move any more..

I have gta III v1.2 in my milestone [ROM] iceandfire v4 aka Ultimate Milestone v1.0 Beta1 and i have installed chainfire 3D (REDUCE TEXTURE QUALITY , REDUCE TEXTURE SIZE)... Delete audio folder! Working smooth.
Which data do you use? The one thats automatically downloaded by the app?
I have data from v1.0 automatically downloaded This data working on v1.2
i don't know why i have fc....using latest cm7

I ve got this same , on 1ghz OC , deleted audio folder, and cm7 7.1.4
Try my gta 3.set low disatance ,low resolution, low detail. And save 100%. all this files put in gta3 directory.
Even with v1.3 can't get it running. I've the same problems I had with v1.1 and v1.2 your gta 3.set doesn't help me either because I can't get further than to a 3/4 loaded bar.

I have got the same problem here. Trying all the methods mentioned here still does not work ...
I can get it working with latest CM 7 (purge assets enabled, lock home disabled, lock sms disabled)
> Draw distance Low
> Audio folder deleted
> No chainfire
But, the game is slow. And after that the game FC in the middle of the gameplay ?

I have a workin one somewhere on my PC, let me search for ya'll. It worked without deleting anything and without ChainFire, tho it wasn't that smooth. I'll search for it and post a link here as soon as I find that.

Sorry just had some technical issues my upper neighbour just flood our kitchen, one of her pipes got broken and all the water comes down to our kitchen where i left my laptop so....lol...but i will post it later today. Sorry once again

fm radio download spirit fm enable bluetooth THEN start your the app go to settings audio and choose qsd and save then press play and enjoy

use mx player and set encoding to software doesnt work download the armv7 codecs for market (both availiable free)

Problem with google search and playing videos
Hi! I want to report bug with google search app (GoogleQuickSearchBox.apk) on enabled tablet ui. I'm on m5 v2 build with latest camera + youtube fix with LCD Density set up to 128. When i press it, it fc. It doesn't work at all. And second bug, when i record video witch Camrecorder, i can't play it from gallery. First time when i press play button it shows error, i press ok, and when i press second time play, it runs, but only sound - video is full of artifacts. By the way, this rom is exelent! It runs perfectly! And I'm sorry for my bad english.
it is a known issue with the video as we dont have full hardware decoding so the workaround is mx player arm v7 codecs and set the encoding to software as for the search bar first time i hear about it i will try it out now

if I use youtube and camera fix from the third post, Youtube app will work properly and panorama mode in camera will work but I won't be able to record videos more than 30 secs right?
also what resolution does the video camera record in? and can I change it?

First no the camera will work as normal nothing will break and YouTube will continue and the camera records at 640x480

Thanx I applied it and testing it right now
there's no way yet the camera can record in HD right?
Its a hardware limitation the highest we can record is 800x480 and the devs are working on it
Huge Issue:
Sometimes (after a while of usage) my apps are not starting when i press their icons. The app drawer isnt working aswell then. The Icon just glows up, but nothing happens. I cant get into settings aswell. After this happens, my screen gets a SOD if i turn it off and want to wake up my device. Only solution for that: Pull out the battery or if there is no SOD yet, reboot the device.
This problem does NOT belong to the launcher, since i have tested apex, nova and trebuchet.
This problem does NOT belong to a specific a2sd script, since i have tested Link2sd and darktremor script.
This problem does NOT belong to a bad flash or sth like that, since i have made 3 installs from scratch for now (task29) and always had the same issue after a while.
My config:
Bootloader: Tested with clk and magldr
CWM: latest
ROM: [04-05-12][ROM] Unofficial AOKP for HD2 [Milestone 5 v2][HWA][4.0.4][tytung_HWA_r1]
Kernel: tytung_hwa_r1
This issue seems to be more rare since i have only heard of a few others having these issues.

but it didn't work in new milestone 5,but working in former aokps.
can you explain to me the reasons. thx.
I was adding this script in App_dc2SD_1_05.zip
As this script doesn't cause low volume bug, it's my first choise for a2sd.
any suggestings?

the Mic volume is low even if I use the Hd2 Mic gain control and set everything to 500

I'm using ext4 1GB partition. The rom aswell as the scripts do support this type of ext-partition.
Guys I have tried 4 different a2sd scripts all messed up my phone the only thing I found working link2sd auto link move everything except dalvik no lags no nothing enjoy

I have the same issue on ussr 5 .after fresh firmware flash it was gone.

actually when i opne the app itself it flickers continously and even i can't use the app.
I seemed to have this problem as well on CoD ROM. But this problem was on Twitter. It stopped flickering when I flipped the device to landscape.
This must be done problem with DDLF2. Samsung must have changed a few codes. The ever present DSP manager problem is also present on this version.

every time u enter the time for alarm the desk clock gets force closed.
can some one contact avijit ghosh on this xda m unable to contact him as m new on the xda.

I also have had similar problem, I've been managing the situation by using landscape mode, but i'm also facing a problem regarding 'jellybean search' app, it asks to terminate at startup. I'll also be pleased if the flickering problem be solved in the ROM
